“We are looking for another great night at The Claridge,” sagte Debbie LaManna von Rising Promotions. “We continue to put on great shows, and June 10th will be no different. We feel that the momentum of our shows is starting to help the restoration of boxing in Atlantic City.”
“After Thomas gets through this fight, We will are going to be looking for a regional title belt in one of the the four recognized organizations. If we win that and defend that a couple of times and move through the ratings of the sanctioning bodies, Thomas can earn himself a world title shot,” said Vinny LaManna.
Velasquez of Managua, Nicaragua has a record of 24-28-2 mit 15 Knockouts.
Die 37 year-old Velasquez has been a professional since 2005, and has some quality wins on his resume over Danilo Moises Solis (18-1), Maisael Castillo (20-0).

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (APRIL 25, 2017)–This Past Samstag, Keenan Smith stopped Edgar Gabejan in round seven of their scheduled eight round super lightweight bout that headlined a six bout card at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.
The show was promoted by GH3 Promotions and D and D Management.
Smith dominated the action, as Gabejan was reduced to lunging holding and even went to the canvas several times for slips. Smith was able to score a knockdown in round seven from a flurry of punches. Smith was fully in control and stepped on the gas in the seventh, as he dropped Gabejan for a second time from a flurry of body punches. Gabejan got to his feet, but he had taken enough punishment and the fight was stopped at 1:43.
Smith of Philadelphia is now 11-0 mit fünf Knockouts. Gabejan of the Philippines is 27-34-7.

Kenneth Sims, Jr. remained undefeated by stopping Israel Villela in round three of their scheduled six-round super lightweight bout.
Sims battered a tough Villela, and then in round two cut him around the right eye. In Runde drei, Sims landed three flush blows, und der Kampf wurde gestoppt bei 1:03.

Sims of Chicago, will be making his 2nd consecutive start on the boardwalk after his eight-round unanimous decision over Emmanuel Robles (15-1-1) auf 20. Januar at Ballys. That fight was part of a ShoBox: The New Generation card seen live on Showtime.
Sims got the call to take a “Stay Busy” Kampf, before he steps back up later in the Summer.
“I found out about this fight three weeks ago. It is not a big deal, I already had been sparring, so I am in good shape and ready for Saturday,” sagte Sims.
In Villela, Sims has seen little, but not a lot of his opponent, but he will be ready for anything that Villela will bring to the ring.
“I saw a few Youtube videos, but I did not see a lot to get to a feel for him. But I am an experienced fighter, and I just have to fight my fight. I am not underestimating him, and I know he will be trying to win.”
In the fight with Robles, Sims fought well throughout, and gave a brief critique of his performance.
“I looked over the last fight, and I looked better watching it on television then I thought I did in the ring. Mit diesem wird gesagt, I know I have things to work on, and I could have looked better.”
Sims is looking for a big performance am Samstag that will be a prelude to a busy Summer.

Atlantic City, NJ (März 24, 2017)- Undefeated super lightweight Keenan Smith will headline a big night of action on Saturday, April 22nd at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.

The show is promoted by GH3 Promotions and D and D Promotions.

The card will also feature many up and coming stars from the Philadelphia/New Jersey region.

This will be Pham’s 7th fight in Atlantic City, with this being his 3rd consecutive at The Claridge.

The loss was extremely controversial, and Odom avenged that setback in dramatic fashion as he stopped Hernandez inside of a round in their rematch. Odom, who has appeared on ShoBox five times, stopped Julius Jackson (19-1) Juli 22, 2016. Atlantic City, NJ (März 10, 2017)–Weltergewicht Anthony “Juice” Jung dauert an Samuel Amoako an diesem Samstag Nacht The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.

Jung, 15-2 mit sechs K.-o.-Runden sucht Atlantic City seinen fünften Sieg in Folge, wenn er gegen Amoko . antritt (21-13, 14 KO) von Accra, Ghana.
Amoako wurde Profi 2005 mit einem Sieg über Herausforderer Albert Mensah (9-2-1). Amoako, 32 Jahre alt ist der ehemalige WBO African Lightweight Champion Lightweight Champion.
Amoako kommt nach einer 4-Runden-einstimmigen Entscheidung gegen Sam Teah am 6. August in Bristol, PA.
“Meine Ausbildung ist gut. Es ist Kampfwoche, also halte ich nur das gewicht. Ich hatte ein gutes Camp und arbeitete an meiner Beinarbeit. Ich habe mit Danny Garcia gespart,” sagte Young.
Der Übergang zu Amoako war einfach, da er bereits mit orthodoxen Kämpfern kämpfte, dachte sogar, dass der ursprüngliche Gegner Rogelio Casarez ein Rechtsausleger war.
“Ich war sowieso im Sparring mit Rechtshändern, und als Amoako hereinkam, es war keine große Sache mit dem Wechsel des Gegners.”
In seinem letzten Kampf, Young dominierte James Robinson bis zur letzten Runde, als er erwischt und schließlich zu Boden geworfen wurde. Young konnte aus der Runde raus und den Sieg an sich festhalten 20. Januar.
“Ich habe gelehnt, es ist Boxen, und ein Schlag kann den Kampf verändern. Ich muss den ganzen Kampf scharf bleiben und darf nicht nachlässig werden.”
In seinem mittlerweile 18. Kampf, Young macht einen kleinen Schritt gegen einen Veteranen, der gekämpft hat 201 professionelle Runden.
“Dies ist mein erster offizieller 8-Runden-Kampf. Ich habe vor, für die Fans eine großartige Leistung abzuliefern. Ich bin dankbar für Rising-Aktionen. Sie gaben mir die Möglichkeit, vor meinen Fans zu kämpfen, und ich suche sie, um es am Laufen zu halten.”
