Morrison (15-7-0, M-1: 2-4-0) and Rettinghouse (13-4-0, M-1: 1-0-0) are both fighting out of the state of Washington.
Morrison faces undefeated Russian prospect Moysar Evoloev (5-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) in a fight contested at a 140-pounds (63.5 kilogramų) catchweight. Morrison is a grappler (see photo below with him in top position) who defeated current M-1 Challenge bantamweight title-holder Pavelas Vitruk by decision at M-1 Iššūkis 58.
Fighting at home in Ingushetia, Evloev is also a grappler who is coming off a first-round knockout of Alexander Krupenkin this past May at M-1 Iššūkis 66 (pavaizduota žemiau).
Rettinghouse, the King of the Cage čempionas, įgauna Sergejus Morozovas (6-1-0, M-1: 3-1-0) in a bantamweight with future title implications for the winner.
A submission master who has a strong Brazilian Ju-Jitsu background, Rettinghouse is coming off his successful M-1 Global debut this past May at M-1 Iššūkis 66, in which Rettinghouse stopped Vadim Zhloboch in the opening round due to an injury.
Morozov, fighting out of Kazakhstan, is an outstanding striker and well-rounded MMA fighter. He was on the wrong end of the M-1 Iššūkis 68 Fight of the Night last July in a loss by decision to Rafael Dias.
Į M-1 Iššūkis 59, Morozov (pavaizduota žemiau) was awarded the Knockout of the Night award for his demolishing of Andy Young a year ago July.
An impressive victory will position the Rettinghouse-Morozov winner for a potential M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight with defending champion Vitruk.

PETERSBURG, Rusija (Lapkritis 2, 2016) – The 2016 M-1 Challenge season will be going out with a bang as M-1 Global has announced a second title fight, M-1 Iššūkis lengvas čempionas Jonas “Tai yra” Buchinger versus undefeated challenger Magomed Idrisov, už December 9th M-1 Iššūkis 73: Mūšis NartsIngušijoje, Rusija.
The previously announced main event is a super showdown between M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramadanas Emeev (14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0) and knockout specialist Anatolijus Tokovas (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0).

Buchinger (31-4-0, M-1: 6-0-0), kovoti iš Slovakijos, is riding a 10-fight win streak into M-1 Iššūkis 73 since he lost to Conor McGregoras į 2012. He captured the vacant M-1 Challenge title October 17, 2014 į M-1 Iššūkis 52, sustabdymas Ūkio Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches in their Fight of the Night. Buchinger made a successful title defense 13 months ago at M-1 Iššūkis 62, taking a 5-round unanimous decision over Mansour Korobkov. Savo paskutiniame kovos, this past June against Michailas Korobkov į M-1 Iššūkis 67, Buchinger needed only 4:41 of the opening round to choke his opponent into a submission in their non-title fight.
Idrisov is a strong striker and Russian Whu-Shu Sanda champion. He knockout current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Aleksandras Butenko in his professional MMA debut, back in 2013 in a non-M-1 Global fight. His three M-1 Global victories have been against Yuri Maia (KO1 – štampus) į M-1 Iššūkis 49 Knockout Nakties, Maksimalus Coga (DEC3) ir Sergejus Grecicho (DEC3) in his last fight September 20, 2015 į M-1 Iššūkis 51 (see picture below).

“The fight between Ramazan Emeev and Anatoly Tokov is the most anticipated fight in Russian MMA, “M-1 Global prezidentas Vadimas Finkelchtein sakė. “Both Tokov and Emeev are fighters of the elite level, not only in Russia, but in the world. This fight is being held to achieve our main goal: to make the most spectacular match-ups between the strongest MMA fighters of our time.”
Emeev (14-3-0, M-1: 8-1-0), who was the M-1 Global 2015 Kovotojas Metų, returns to action after suffering a torn ligament in his elbow, which forced the Azerbaijan native to withdraw from his scheduled M-1 Grand Prix Middleweight Championship fight withAleksandras Shlemenko.
The 29-year-old Emeev, fighting out of Makhachkala, Rusija, first captured the vacant M-1 Challenge middleweight title in 2012, taking a 5-round unanimous decision from Mario Miranda į M-1 Iššūkis 35, and he successfully won the rematch five months later įM-1 Iššūkis 38, stopping Miranda via strikes in the third round.
Į 2014, Emeev lost his title belt to Viačeslavas Vasiļevskis by way of a fourth-round knockout (štampus) į M-1 Iššūkis 51 į 2014. The resilient Emeev, tačiau, bounced back to regain his throne as M-1 Challenge middleweight champion, using a choke hold to submit Vasilevsky in the opening round at
M-1 Iššūkis 56.
Emeev has successfully defended his title against Luigi Fioravanti, who was unable to continue after four rounds at M-1 Iššūkis 63, and this past April Emeev defeated Brazilian Maiquel Falcao (see picture above) į M-1 Iššūkis 65 in the first round by submission (uždusti).
Tokov (24-2-0, M-1: 9-1-0), 26, is a former ABC champion who fights out of Stary Oskol, Rusija. He is riding a 17-fight win streak, including knockouts of ENOC Sprendžia Torres įM-1 Iššūkis 54 ir Albert Duraev į M-1 Iššūkis 46.
