ST. Petersburg, Rusia (Mei 5, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced that M-1 Challenge featherweight champion John “Ieu” Buchinger will defend his title against undefeated challenger Magomed Idrisov, headlining M-1 tangtangan 67, Juni 4 at Baku, Azerbaijan.
Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Shavkat Rakjmonov and Brazilian veteran Carlos Alexandre “Indio” Buah pir.

Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-1 tangtangan 52, stopping Tural Nizami (see picture below) in the fourth round on punches.
