ST. PETERSBURG, Rusiya (May 5, 2016) – M-1 Global has announced that M-1 Challenge featherweight champion John “Buki” Buchinger will defend his title against undefeated challenger Məhəmməd İdrisov, headlining M-1 Challenge 67, İyun 4 Bakıda, Azərbaycan.
Also announced is a fight between undefeated Kazakh welterweight prospect Şavkat Rakzhmanov və Braziliyalı veteran Carlos Alexander “Indio” Armud.

Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), fighting out of his native Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title 1-½ years ago at M-1 Challenge 52, dayandırma Tural Ragimov (aşağıdakı şəkilə baxın) in the fourth round on punches. His lone title defense last October was a decision win over current M-1 Challenge lightweight championMansour Barnaoui at M-1 Challenge 62. Fighting out of Russia, İdrisov (6-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) is the European Wu-Sanda champion. The 21-year-old Rakhmonov (5-0-0, M-1: 3-0-0) was a decorated MMA amateur who has won two Submission of the Night honors in only three M-1 Global events againstMichal Wienek last July at M-1 Challenge 59, and versus Adam Tsurpov (aşağıda təsvir) Oktyabr 17, 2014 in Rakhmonov’s professional debut.
Armud, 37, won Submission of the Night in his only M-1 Global fight to date, last September against Ruslan Zhemuklkov (aşağıdakı şəkilə baxın) at M-1 Challenge 61.
