Kyrgyzstan dominates competition Wins WMMAA team title at 2017 Asian Championships

Monte Carlo, Монако (May 29, 2017)- Host team Kyrgyzstan captured top team honors at the recent third annual World Mixed Martial Arts Association (WMMAA) Asian Championships, recently held at Suyumbaev Stadium, Osh, Киргизстан.
The wonderful host city of Osh is the second largest city in Киргизстан, located in the Fergana Valley in the south of the country, often referred to as the “capital of the south”. It is the oldest city in the country, estimated to be more than 3000 Хуучин жил, and it has served as the administrative center of Osh Region оноос хойш 1939. The city has an ethnically mixed population of approximately 255,800, according to 2012 reports, comprised of Kyrgyz, Uzbeks, Russians, Tajiks, and other smaller ethnic groups.
Ulukbek Omurzakov, the president of Kyrgyzstan MMA Federation, deserved kudos for insuring that the 2017 WMMAA Asian Championships would be held at the highest level in all respects.
In addition to Omurzakov, numerous highly-ranked guests were also present at the arena during competitions, including the Kyrgyzstan Republic President’s advisor, Ikramzhan Ilmiyanov, Vice Prime-Minister Zhenish Razzakov, Osh city Mayor Aitmamat Kadyrbaev, Minister of Interior Suyunbek Omurzakov, MP’s Aaly Karashev, Iskender Matraimov, WMMAA president Вадим Finkelchtein and many others.
WMMA Asian team champion Kyrgyzstan had seven individual male winners out of eight weight classes: bantamweight Ryskulbek Ibraimov, өд Nursultan Rakhmanberdi Uulu, хөнгөн Kubanychbek Turatbek Uulu, welterweightTologon Rakhmatov, Эмэгтэй дунд Olzhobai Kudaiberdi Uulu, гэрэл хүнд жингийнOsman Abdulazizov ба хүнд Maksat Musabaev. The only non-Kyrgyzstan individual winner in the men’s competition was flyweight Zheng Xiao Liang, хятадын.

The 2017 WMMAA Asian Championships were held in 10 weight divisions, eight for male fighters, as well as two brand new divisions for female fighters, in which China won both weight classes.

Individual team competition was held in accordance with the “Official Rules of Mixed Martial Arts Competition, subject to WMMAA approval. Including revisions, additions and clarifications of certain clauses. Matches were held in accordance with the Olympic system including two third-places in each of the 10 weight divisions.

Monte Carlo, Монако (May 3, 2017)- The World MMA Association (WMMAA) has announced that its 2017 Pan-American Championships, the largest MMA event ever in The Americas, will be held this coming Оны долдугаар сар 14-15 in Monterrey, Мексик.

Results from the Inaugural French MMA Championships

Monte Carlo, Монако (Дөрөвдүгээр 20, 2017) — The inaugural French MMA Championships, sanctioned by the World MMA Association (WMMAA), was recently held in Geneva, Швейцарь.
The National Commission Kenpô & AMM successfully organized this event despite several obstacles. French athletes had the opportunity for the first time to compete under the rules of amateur MMA during a French Championship, organized exclusively for them by the “French Federation”, under the aegis of the WMMAA, whose honorary vice-president is none other than “Сүүлийн эзэн хаан,” Fedor Emelianenko.
No injuries were reported during the competition and good sportsmanship was exhibited by all. There were many exciting fights between competitors representing clubs from all across France, including some well-known by the public in martial arts and combat sports. A large, passionate crowd encouraged the fighters from start to finish.
It was announced that the 2nd annual MMA French Championships will be held next year in Geneva on April 7 & 8.

WMMAA Pan-American Division Welcomes new member Ecuador

Monte Carlo, Монако (Гуравдугаар 14, 2017) – The Pan-American Division of the World MMA Championships (WMMAA) has formally announced the recent addition of Ecuador as its newest member.

“We continue to grow with every new country take forward the MMA movement as well as recognition of MMA as a sport,” гэж хэлсэн Томас Ю, President of the WMMA Pan-American Division. “I have long been an advocate of MMA as a sport. Watching this great group of pioneers put up a great fight that takes is back to the basics and to what Martial Arts truly represents: loyalty, honor, and family.”
Yu appointed Gorky E. Rodriguez as President of WMMAA Ecuador. Hector Molina, Director of the Regulatory Committee for the WMMAA Pan-American Division, will work closely with Rodriguez during the formation of the WMMAA Ecuador Regulatory Committee.
“MMA is in a critical time,” Rodriguez commented. “It’s explosive growth this past decade has made MMA the fastest growing sport in the world, demanding that an organization like ours exist and to add unbiased structure, not only for athletes, but as a regulatory body as well.
“Much continues to happen since WMMAA Ecuador was formed. We will all celebrate our first participation, as a national team, this year in the Pan-American Championships. I look forward to using my experience and the volumes of knowledge the WMMAA Pan-American Division brings to Ecuador. I will share the vision with all my efforts as we will defend, promote and endorse MMA as a sport and give all participants and fans a significant difference in the sport.”

The WMMAA sanctioned countries in five divisions – Pan-Am, Африк, Ази, Europe and Oceania – include Afghanistan, Аргентин, Армени, Aruba, Австрали, Азербайжаны, Беларусь, Бельги, Бразил, Канад, Хятад улс, Chinese Taipei, Costa Rica, Хорват, Куба улс, Чех, Франц, Гүрж, Герман, Грек, Guatemala, Унгар, Энэтхэг улс, Иран улс, Итали, Казахстан, Киргизстан, Латви, Мексик, Moldova, Монако, Mongolia, Марокко, Нидерланд, Никарагуа, Paraguay, Португал, Румын, ОХУ-, Серби, Сингапур, Словак, Өмнөд Солонгос, Испани, Тажикстан, Украйн, Uzbekistan and Venezuela.
The highlight of the 2016 WMMAA season was the World MMA Championships, in which powerhouse, Team Russia completely dominated, as it also did in the European Championships, sweeping all seven weight classes in Studio City, Macau, Хятад улс.

Russia dominates 2016 World MMA Championship Sweeps all 7 weight classes

Monte Carlo, Монако (Арванхоёрдугаар сар 1, 2016)- Team Russia parlayed its recent European Championship domination into a repeat performance at this past weekend’s World MMA Championship, by sweeping all seven weight classes in Studio City, Macau, Хятад улс.
Close to 100 fighters competed, төлөөлж байгаа 23 countries including Russia, Казахстан, Испани, Австрали, Belgian, Хятад улс, Колумб, Франц, Чех, Hong Kong, Тажикстан, Герман, Унгар, Macao, Nepal, Энэтхэг улс, Өмнөд Солонгос, Украйн, Киргизстан, Moldova, Uzbekistan, Chinese Taipei and Italy.
Russian middleweight Gamzat Hiramagomedov and light heavyweight Magomed Ankalayev are repeat world champions.
In team scoring, Asian team champion Kazakhstan won two Silver and four Bronze medals, Ukraine two Silver and two Bronze, Czech Republic one Silver and two Bronze, Chinas one Silver and two Bronze, Kyrgyzstan two Bronze, and one Bronze for France, Энэтхэг улс, Spain and Moldova.
“I would like to thank each athlete of our National MMA Team, our coaches, doctors and all the Russian MMA Union employees,” said MMA living legend Fedor Emelianenko, WMMAA honorary president and president of the Russian MMA Union. “The fighters had a long way, put in a lot of effort, and made it to the top. Despite an ever-growing competition level, our athletes achieved 100-percent of the set goals thanks to a great training camp, fight strategy and their spirit.
“We are proud to have two-time world champions in Magomed Ankalayev and Gamzat Hiramagomedov. It’s a pleasure to follow the fighters’ personal evolution from fight to fight. The world champions will receive their accolades of Sports Master of International Level.”
