Paul And Fury Put Their Undefeated Pro Boxing Records on the Line

NEW YORK(Octobre 29, 2021) – International super starJake “The Problem Child” Paulwill face undefeated professional boxer and U.K. reality TV starTommy “TNT” Furyin a sanctioned eight-round cruiserweight bout after months of heated back-and-forth between the two men. Paul and Fury will headline aShowtime PPV événement surSamedi, Décembre 18 auAmalie Arena à Tampa, Fla. The main event bout will be contested at a 192-pound catchweight, as Paul continues to challenge himself and deliver on his promise to disrupt the combat sports industry.

On the heels of an impressive performance against former mixed martial arts world champion Tyron Woodley in August, Paul looks forward to his fifth professional boxing match as he takes a sizable step up in competition and puts his undefeated record on the line. Paul, the social media sensation, has garnered unprecedented attention for a young boxer since he entered the ring against NBA star Nate Robinson and defeated him with a show-stopping knockout that made headlines around the world. Paul is now taking the next step in his young career as he goes afterLove Island reality TV star Fury, the younger brother of WBC Heavyweight World Champion Tyson Fury.

Paul and Fury will meet for the first time since their fight was announced on Saturday, Novembre 6 in Las Vegas and will make an additional appearance in Tampa on Monday, Novembre 8. More details on both events to follow.

The 24-year-old Paul (4-0, 3 KOs) is a world-renowned content creator. He began his professional boxing journey in January 2020 and has proven to be an influential participant in the sport’s landscape with his outsized personality and quickly developing skill set. The Cleveland-native is fighting out of Puerto Rico under the eye of former boxing cruiserweight contender and world title challenger B.J. Fleurs, who has been training Paul from his first professional fight. After knocking out British YouTube star AnEsonGib in his debut and defeating Robinson with a knockout heard around the world, Paul made quick work of former MMA champion Ben Askren in April with a first-round knockout. The win over Askren was Paul’s first victory over a seasoned professional fighter and he followed it up with an impressive performance against Woodley, arguably his most dangerous opponent to date.

“I started my professional boxing career less than two years ago on January 30th, 2020. Four fights, three pay-per-views, two as the headliner, and one sold-out arena, I’m looking forward to my toughest challenge yet and continuing to prove the critics wrong,” said Paul. “Fight a real boxer they’ve said, and that is exactly what I’m doing. Combattre de Manchester, Angleterre, Fury started boxing at 12 ans. Avec 12 combats amateurs, he won two regional titles and reached the U.K. national final in 2016. Fury’s first professional fight came in 2018, a win by decision. From there he proceeded to knockout or TKO his next four opponents and put the boxing world on notice. He has fought three times in 2021, including his U.S. debut on Paul’s undercard in August, where the 22-year-old earned his seventh victory against Anthony Taylor. Paul is clearly facing his biggest challenge to date in the undefeated Fury (7-0, 4 KOs), who comes from a renowned family of boxers and has been trained by British star Ricky Hatton.

“Jake Paul is about to learn a serious life lesson. This is my world, and he doesn’t belong here,” said Fury. “I’m not one of these MMA men or basketball players, I have been boxing my whole life. HOLLYWOOD DU NORD, CALIFORNIE. (Octobre 26, 2021) – Double champion du monde invaincu David "Le drapeau rouge" Benavídez et son grand frère, concurrent de longue date José Benavidez, a présenté leurs confrontations respectives avant d'entrer sur le ring dans leur ville natale de Phoenix, Ariz. Samedi, Novembre 13 en direct sur SHOWTIME dans un événement Premier Boxing Champions du Footprint Center.

David affrontera l'ancien champion José Uzcátegui dans un combat d'élimination du titre des super-moyens qui fait la une de l'événement, tandis que José affronte l'Argentine Francisco Emmanuel Torres dans le co-événement principal de 10 rondes. Les frères Benavídez ont pour objectif d'impressionner les fans de leur ville natale lors des retrouvailles tant attendues en novembre 13, qui marquera leur première entrée sur le ring à Phoenix depuis 2015.

« Tout a été incroyable dans le camp. Nous nous battons 12-13 tours et courir six ou sept milles par jour. J'ai travaillé très dur et j'ai hâte de faire un spectacle en novembre 13.

« Uzcátegui est un compétiteur coriace et il était un ancien champion du monde, donc je dois lui donner ce respect. Il y a de grands combats à l'horizon pour moi, donc je dois me préparer en conséquence pour Uzcátegui.

"J'ai l'impression d'être le meilleur combattant. j'ai les meilleures compétences, plus de pouvoir, plus de vitesse et j'ai plus faim aussi. ça va être une super soirée pour mon équipe. Je sens que je vais y aller et remporter la victoire par élimination directe.

"Beaucoup de gens à Phoenix sont enthousiasmés par celui-ci. j'ai hâte d'y retourner. Le timing est parfait. Pour moi, c'est le plus gros combat de ma carrière. Je suis prêt pour tout ce qui vient à ma rencontre Novembre 13.

"Nous sommes juste concentrés sur Uzcátegui, but of course there are bigger fights for me in the future. If I win this fight, I’m in the number one spot for whoever wins between Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant.

“Facing Canelo would be a huge fight in the super middleweight division, but I have to go out there on November 13 and get this victory first.

"À l'heure actuelle, with the level I’m at, the fighters that I’m seeking to fight are champions and former champions. Whether it’s Canelo, Plant or Jermall Charlo, I feel like we’re all going to end up facing each other at some point.

“Canelo vs. Plant is a great fight for the division. It’s a fight where both guys have a lot to prove. Those kinds of fights tend to bring the best out of everybody. There’s a lot of pressure and a lot of glory on the line, so I feel like they’re going to be the best they’ve ever been. I’m going to be ready for the winner next.

“I’ve been a pro for eight years already. I just want the biggest fights out there. This is the level I’ve been working to get to for a long time, and we’re finally here at this moment. I want to fight the best of the best and prove myself. I want to show that I’m the best super middleweight in the world.

“Uzcátegui is strong and he has a will to win, but I just believe that I have the better skill set. These are the types of fighters that I need to test myself against. It’s definitely going to be a war, but I’m going to come out on top.”

JOSÉ BENAVÍDEZ

“It feels great to be on this card with my brother, and to be making my comeback in my hometown. There’s going to be a lot of support for me. It’s a great feeling and I’m looking forward to giving my fans a great outcome.

“I had to take a break, but now I have a different kind of mindset. I just want to keep fighting, training and staying ready. I want to get to the top of the super welterweight division.

“The delay has just given me more time to train, more time to get stronger and more time to get ready. I’ve just been making the most of it.

“I’m going to be an animal on fight night. I’m coming for everything. J'ai faim. I’ve been out of the ring for years, so I need to make a statement. That’s what I’m looking to do November 13.

LOS ANGELES (Octobre 21, 2021) – Quintuple champion du monde Gervonta «Tank» Davis et percutant, prétendant poids léger invaincu Rolando "Rolly" Romero s’est retrouvé face à face jeudi lors d’une conférence de presse pour prévisualiser leur confrontation pour la tête d’affiche du championnat WBA Lightweight de Davis en direct sur SHOWTIME PPV dimanche, Décembre 5 au STAPLES Center de Los Angeles dans le cadre d'un événement Premier Boxing Champions.

La troisième attraction consécutive à la télévision à la carte de Davis le verra combattre son ennemi léger et franc Romero, alors que les puissants puncheurs de 26 ans mettent leurs records invaincus en jeu. L'événement marquera le retour de Davis dans le sud de la Californie après avoir éliminé Hugo Ruiz au premier tour devant une foule à guichets fermés en février. 2019.

"Je suis reconnaissant d'être ici pour donner aux fans un autre grand combat. Ceci est ce que nous faisons. ‘Rolly’ est juste là pour parler. Il essaie de parler pour gagner, mais il a peur. Je viens pour combattre.

"Ils ne parlent que de son pouvoir, mais cela est la boxe. Ses compétences ne sont pas à la hauteur des miennes. Il ne peut même pas parler de pouvoir, parce que tout le monde sait que je l'apporte. Vous pouvez tirer des balles, mais comment vas-tu te défendre quand les balles ripostent?

« Il parle depuis longtemps. Il essaie de vendre un combat, mais je vais lui montrer qu'il est con en décembre 5. je ne suis pas là pour parler, je suis là pour me battre. Je ne prends pas ça personnellement. Me, ce n'est pas du boeuf, c'est du business.

"J'étais en mission quand j'ai combattu Jose Pedraza pour le titre. Je n'ai pas fait la poubelle en parlant. J'y suis allé et j'ai prouvé que j'étais un mec top. Ce mec est juste là pour parler. Je vais parler sur le ring en décembre 5.

"Son entraîneur ne travaille que sur la puissance. Ils ne travaillent sur aucune compétence. Il n'a combattu personne comme moi et il va voir la différence.

"Je n'ai jamais refusé un combat. je n'ai peur de personne. Je vais combattre tout le monde. Je combattrai un poids lourd. Ce n'est rien pour moi. J'ai survécu à beaucoup de choses.

«Il est censé venir ici et vendre le combat. je suis censé gagner. Je préfère le punir pour 12 tours que l'assommer rapidement. Une partie de moi veut l'humilier, mais la chose la plus importante à faire est d'aller là-bas et de faire le travail.

"Ce combat est pour les fans. Les fans gagnent décembre 5. Assurez-vous de sortir et de soutenir. Je suis reconnaissant d'être dans cette position. Tout dépend de mon équipe et de ces personnes qui m'ont placé dans une excellente position.

ROLAND ROMÉRO

"Tout le monde va voir décembre 5, Je vais assommer Gervonta. J'espère que tu entends ça.

"J'appelle 'Tank' depuis 2017. Nous étions censés nous entraîner 2018 et il ne s'est pas présenté au gymnase. Il a fait ça deux fois parce qu'il savait qu'il se faisait battre. Décembre 5, tu te fais assommer.

"C'est juste qui je suis. C'est ainsi que je suis né. Je suis entré dans ce sport à 17 ans et j'ai tiré le meilleur parti de ce que j'ai fait. Tout le monde vient me regarder l'assommer en décembre 5.

"Il a une si grosse tête, ça va être dur de passer à côté. Il se fait retoucher par chaque adversaire qu'il affronte. Leo Santa Cruz le battait et Barrios l'atteignait aussi.

"Il veut sortir du ring à chaque fois qu'il est touché. Ça arrive en sparring et chez les amateurs. C'est moi qui ai dû forcer ce combat, parce que j'ai vu pendant des années que c'est un idiot. Il a fait carrière en battant des 126 livres.

"Il ne connaît pas la moitié des choses que j'ai vues et vécues. Je suis ici pour l'assommer sur le ring. Il est arrogant et essaie d'agir comme s'il était dur, mais je l'assomme.

« Manny Pacquiao a aussi un style maladroit, et regarde tout ce qu'il a accompli. Juste parce que je me bats différemment, est-ce que ça veut dire que je n'ai pas de compétences? J'ai mes propres compétences et ils m'ont amené jusqu'ici.

"Je ne vais pas sur le ring en colère, Je suis juste concentré.

Floyd Mayweather, Président de Promotions Mayweather

"Ce sont deux grands combattants. Et quand je dis super, Je veux dire qu'à chaque fois qu'ils sortent, ils produisent. ‘Tank’ est un jeune garçon de Baltimore qui a fait un rêve. Il a traversé beaucoup de choses. Il s'est frayé un chemin jusqu'au sommet. Tu dois le féliciter pour ça. Peu importe ce qu'on dit, il a gagné ses galons.

"Je crois que 'Tank' est l'un des meilleurs combattants du monde. ‘Rolly’ dit qu’il veut combattre le meilleur. Viens décembre 5, ça va être un enfer d'un combat.

"" Rolly "est dur. Il combattra n'importe qui et cet empressement en fait un match intrigant. ‘Rolly’ veut juste prouver qu’il est le meilleur. C'est aussi un sacré puncheur. A chaque fois qu'on lui présentait un adversaire, il a accepté chacun d'eux.

"'Tank' fait des chiffres record. Je lui ai toujours dit que ça viendrait en temps voulu. Je lui ai dit que de la même manière je vends des arènes, tu vas faire la même chose un jour. Il a eu de la patience et c'est ce que nous faisons.

"Ces gars sont l'avenir de la boxe. Je ne vois pas ce combat tenir la distance. Deux artistes à élimination directe invaincus. deux champions. Décembre 5, Je verrai tout le monde là-bas.

CALVIN FORD, Co-entraîneur de Davis

"J'espère que vous continuez à parler" Rolly ". Nous verrons qui parlera encore à la fin de la nuit de décembre 5.

"Romero a un style maladroit, mais la beauté d'avoir deux entraîneurs avec 'Tank,' c'est qu'il n'y a rien pour lequel nous ne sommes pas prêts.

« Le fait que Barry Hunter fasse partie du camp a aidé à calmer ‘Tank’ à bien des égards. Je pense que tout le monde verra la beauté de notre collaboration dans ce combat.

"Je sais ce que tout le monde dit à propos de qui le champion entre dans ce, mais le champion n'est pas né champion, il a dû se lever aussi. Tout comme un jeune lion, ‘Rolly’ est prêt à monter.

"Je suis un LA. gars. Quand on revient ici, nous nous battons pour un héritage. Ce n'est pas juste une ceinture et de l'argent.

"J'ai dit à 'Rolly' que Gervonta Davis s'oppose à ce que votre famille et votre héritage changent. Nous avons un travail à faire.

"Je me fiche de la boxe pure ou de tout style. j'ai fait du karaté, combat de rue et boxe, et j'ai tout mis ensemble. Combiné avec un perforateur avec la puissance de « Rolly », et avec sa mouture et son courage, c'est un match parfait.

"J'ai beaucoup de respect pour 'Tank' et son équipe. Il est un grand combattant, mais Rolly est le suivant. Il sera le nouveau champion WBA le 5 décembre.

Dirrell (33-2-2, 24 KOs), a two-time WBC 168-pound world champion, won the title for the first time with a unanimous decision over Sakio Bika in 2014. Fighting out of Fresno, Calif., Hernández (15-4-2, 3 KOs) has faced excellent competition in his career, battling a litany of tough fellow rising contenders. The 28-year-old most recently scored an impressive unanimous decision victory over previously unbeaten Armando Resendiz in September. In addition to his recent triumph, Hernández has twice faced former unified super welterweight champion Jeison Rosario, fighting to a draw in their first meeting before losing the rematch. He has also taken down then-unbeaten fighters in Kevin Newman II and Thomas Hill.

“I’m having a great training camp for this fight coming off of my performance in early September,"Saïd Hernandez. “As always, the fans can expect me to bring an entertaining fight. I know that I’m up against a former world champion who’s accomplished a lot in his career. I’m just focusing on working hard every day to get the victory and everything that will come with it.”

The former WBC Super Bantamweight World Champion, Vargas (34-0, 22 KOs) will return from layoff due to injury when he enters the ring on November 6. The 30-year-old went on the road to the U.K. to capture his title in 2017, winning a decision over previously unbeaten Gavin McDonnell. Originaire de Mexico, Vargas made five successful defenses of his title, defeating top contenders including Oscar Negrete, Ronny Rios and Azat Hovhannisyan. His last fight and fifth successful title defense came via a unanimous decision over former world champion Tomoki Kameda in July 2019.

The Baja California, Mexico native Báez (21-4, 12 KOs) enters this fight the winner of his last three outings, all coming by TKO. The 26-year-old put together the winning streak after defeats to the previously unbeaten Carlos Caraballo and former title challenger Jason Moloney. Báez, who has fought professionally since 2013, will fight in the U.S. for the fourth time on November 6. Amongst his stateside outings, Báez dominated former interim champion Moises Flores on his way to earning a unanimous decision in February 2020.

“I’m excited for this great challenge on November 6,” said Báez. “I’m planning on giving the fans a true Mexican war and leaving it all in the ring to get the victory. It’s an honor to fight on the Canelo undercard and I’m going to make the most of it. This is going to be a toe-to-toe war, and I’m going to show that he’s not able to stand up to my power and aggression.”

Rodríguez (11-1-1, 10 KOs) burst onto the scene with knockout victories in 10 de son premier 11 combats. LOS ANGELES (Septembre 21, 2021) – Boxing’s consensus No. 1 livre pour livre de combat, Mexican superstar and unified WBA/WBC/WBO Super Middleweight World Champion Canelo Álvarez and undefeated IBF Super Middleweight World Champion Caleb “Sweethands” Plant met for an intense stare down that turned into a scuffle Tuesday at a press conference previewing their historic and highly anticipated undisputed super middleweight championship showdown.

During an extended face-off that kicked off the event, the fighters exchanged words and threw glancing blows before their respective teams rushed the stage to separate the combatants, escalating a rivalry that will culminate on fight night in just over six weeks.

Canelo and Plant will battle on Saturday, Novembre 6, live on SHOWTIME PPV at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas in a Premier Boxing Champions event, with the winner stamping his name in the history books as the first undisputed 168-pound world champion of the four-belt era.

I promised myself that I was going to run this all the way to the top, with no problem crashing and burning along the way. I set out to live an unbelievable life and accomplish unbelievable things. Those people who doubt me are the very reason that I’m here.

Mais toi comme tu l'as vu dans le combat, J'avais un grand sourire sur mon visage. J'aime cette merde, tu sais ce que je veux dire? Je me sens mieux. Dans d'autres combats, après peut-être environ deux minutes et demie, mes mains gazaient et je n'avais rien à faire alors. Je l'ai contrôlé pendant trois tours et je me sens toujours bien d'y aller. (Broken Arrow, D'ACCORD) As part of Showtime’s 20th anniversary season of ShoBox: La Nouvelle Génération, ce vendredi, Septembre 24, 2021, Salita Promotions will return to one of the most unique fight venues in the United States, outdoors in the City of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma’s arts and entertainment district, for a live tripleheader broadcast featuring six prospects boasting combined records of 72-2-1.


Set in the middle of the scenic city’s town square, in the 10-round bantamweight main event bout, 26-year-old Detroit native Ja’Rico O’Quinn (14-0-1, 8 KOs) will face California’s 24-year-old Saul Sanchez (16-1, 9 KOs). The co-main event will pit undefeated featherweight prospects Jayvon Garnett (10-0, 5 KOs) and Luis Reynaldo Nunez (11-0, 8 KOs) against each other in a ten-round bout and in the opener, Alejandro Guerrero (12-1, 9 KOs) faces the undefeated Otar Eranosyan (9-0, 6 KOs) in an eight-round super featherweight contest.


The event will be Salita Promotions’ second attempt to stage a fight at the outdoor boxing hotbed. En Août 2019, a Salita event featuring undefeated Uzbek Shohjahon Ergashev had to be moved to the nearby confines of the Central Park Community Center due to rain.

Promoter Dmitriy Salita says he’s hopeful this time the weather will cooperate and set the stage for an unforgettable setting for the fights Friday night.

O'Quinn contre. Sanchez – 10-Round Bantamweight Main Event Bout


Previously rated in the top-ten in the world by the WBO at 115 livres, O’Quinn last fought at 118 pounds in a dominating unanimous decision over Oscar Vasquez in the 250th edition of ShoBox in January 2020. Ranked as the No. 1 amateur bantamweight in the country compiling a record of 130-18 avant de passer professionnel en 2015, O’Quinn boasts blazing-fast hands and an ability to throw effortless combinations. He had a stellar amateur career fighting over 110 fois, developing his style and sharpening his skills in Ohio’s very competitive amateur boxing scene. The 26-year-old is coming off his career-best professional win, a unanimous decision over the once-beaten Jose Argel in June. Combining exceptional quickness and accuracy with a propensity for power, the 5’3” Garnett stopped five of his first six professional opponents. He has won his last four contests on the scorecards, all unanimously.


“It feels great to be fighting on SHOWTIME,” said Garnett. “I always dreamed of fighting on big platforms, but never dreamed it would be ShoBox for my first TV fight. His unblemished resume includes a unanimous decision over then 20-3-1 Eliezer Aquino and a fourth-round KO over then once-beaten Giovanni Gutierrez.


“I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be fighting on SHOWTIME,” said the 21-year-old Nunez, who will be fighting outside of the Dominican Republic for the first time. “My opponent is a good fighter but I am here to show him what happens against real competition. Thanks to my team for getting me this opportunity and I look forward to making a splash on national television.”


Guerrero vs. Eranosyan – Eight-Round Lightweight Bout


Combats de Houston, Texas, Guerrero is a big-punching prospect who will be making his third appearance on ShoBox, looking to improve his record to 2-1 on the prospect development series. He won a closely contested slugfest via majority decision over Jose Angulo in March 2020, but was upset by Abraham Montoya in February. A celebrated amateur who won two junior national titles, the 23-year-old “Pork Chop” has sparred with the likes of world champions Mikey Garcia and Brandon Rios at the famed Garcia Boxing Academy in California.


«La formation se passe très bien,” said Guerrero. “I’ve been in shape for two months so now it’s just touching up basic stuff here and there with my technique. I know Eranosyan will be tough, so we’re going in with a strong mind knowing he can fight. I’m training hard because I will have to be more than ready. The guy will not be a walk in the park. The last fight, I went in with the mentality of ‘I can beat everybody.’ This one, I have to go in with a smart mind and actually box the guy and use all my skills.”


Ranked No. 9 par la WBA à 130 livres, Eranosyan was a highly decorated Georgian amateur who has transitioned seamlessly into the paid ranks. The 27-year-old didn’t turn professional until August 2020, but has already fought nine times. Now based in Miami Beach, Floride, “Pitbull” owns two notable fourth-round KOs over the 32-4 Juan Carlos Pena, including in his last time out on August 13. Eranosyan will make his ShoBox debut as he fights for the seventh time in 2021, which also marks his first pro fight outside of Florida.


“I haven’t studied Guerrero too much, but I watched a couple fights and he’s a good fighter with very good punching power and very good stamina," dit Eranossian. “I’m adding a lot of stamina training and working on my legs for this fight to be ready for him. I don’t know exactly what will happen, but simply I am the best in the division, so I will win.”
