30-year-old Potapov has bounced back nicely from his highly controversial “loss” to fellow contender Josh Greer by scoring two big victories, including his last outing, a shutout unanimous decision over Ukraine’s then 16-2 Oleksandr Hryshchuk in December 2020 Maskavā. In his 11-year career, Potapov has already held the WBA Asia and WBO NABO Bantamweight Championships.

In the main event and a rematch, Sergejs Morozovs (16-4), Kazahstānas, fended off American challengerJosh “The Finisher” Rettinghouse (16-5), winning a five-round unanimous decision to successfully defend his M-1 Challenge bantamweight title.

Morozov won his fifth straight and sixth fight in his last seven since his original match and loss to Rettinghouse. Morozov captured the M-1 Challenge bantamweight title last June atM-1 Challenge 102, also held in Nur-Sultan, when he stopped previously unbeatenalexander Osetrov ceturtajā kārtā.

SHENZHEN, Ķīna (Augusts 4, 2019) – Canadian mixed-martial arts fighter Chris Kelades became the M-1 Challenge Interim flyweight champion by taking a decision from Alexander Pletenko last night at WKG and M-1 Challenge 103 in Shenzhen, Ķīna.

M-1 Challenge “regular” flyweight championAlexander Doskalchuk was supposed to defend his title atM-1 Challenge 103 against Kelades, tomēr, the champ suffered an injury that forced Doskalchuk to withdraw.

Pletenko versus Kelades was a rematch of a fight back in June, 2018, in which Pletenko won a decision atM-1 Challenge 93. Pletenko, tomēr, came in overweight and he was ineligible to win the title.

This true International MMA event included 20 professional fighters from 10 different countries: Krievija, Ķīna, ASV, Brazīlija, Ukraina, Kanāda, Azerbaidžāna, Zviedrija, Georgia and Germany.

The judges were busy all night as eight of the 10 fights went the complete distance.

The 30-year-old Landwehr (11-2-0, M-1: 3-0-0), fighting out of the Nashville suburb of Clarksville, Tennessee, captured the coveted M-1 Challenge featherweight title belt this past June at M-1 Challenge 95 in Nazran, Ingušijā, Krievija. The entertaining American fighter stopped defending champion Khamzat Dalgiev on punches in the second round. NAZRAN, Ingušijā, Krievija (Novembris 17, 2018) – The first and only M-1 Challenge flyweight champion, Aleksander Doskalchuk, made his second successful title defense last night in the M-1 Challenge 99, Galvenais notikums, when he decisioned his Finnish challenger, Mikael “Hulk” Silander, at Nazran in the Republic of Ingushetia in Russia.

CHELYABINSK, Krievija (Novembris 5, 2018) — Fists were flying last Friday night at M-1 Challenge 98 as ten of 12 fights ended prematurely, eight by way of knockout punches and two submissions, highlighted by Brazilian mixed-martial-arts veteran Bruno Blindado Silva‘s title-winning stoppage of previously undefeated M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Artjoms Frolovs, Čeļabinska, Krievija.
