The Comeback of Heavyweight Contender JD Chapman Continues

七月 28, 2021, Fort Smith, Arkansas—American Heavyweight Contender JD “The Natural” Chapman (30-0, 26 KO的) continues his surprise comeback on July 31, 2021 when he takes on veteran gatekeeper Terrell Jamal Woods (24-49-9) 在家, in Fort Smith, 阿肯色州.

With his return, Chapman immediately became one of the most talked about heavyweight contenders.


Asked whether it is not too soon to fight such a dangerous opponent as Terrell Jamal Woods so early in his comeback, Chapman said with his usual humility, “Jamal Woods is tough and will be a good test for me as I’m rusty and nowhere close to where I used to be. 然而, if I can’t go through guys like Jamal, I might as well hang up my gloves and retire for good this time.”

About JD Chapman

Split-T Management signs Heavyweight Devon Young

紐約 (七月 26, 2021) – Split-T Management has signed heavyweight Devon Young to a managerial contract.

Nahir Albright and Mark Dawson Win Main Events During Back-to-Back Shows on RDR Promotions Crossroads weekend

費城 (JULY 26, 2021)-This past weekend, RDR Promotions staged two incredible night’s of boxing that featured fighters from all over the world.

Both events, which originated from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia were streamed live to a worldwide audience on www.bxngtv.com.
The weekend, 配音 “Crossroads” saw two spectacular main events that saw Nahir Albright win the NABA Lightweight title with an eight-round lightweight title over Jeremy Hill on Friday. In Saturday’s main event, Mark Dawson Jr. won a eight-round unanimous over tough Ivan Pandzic in a battle of undefeated welterweights.

FRIDAY NIGHT’S RESULTS

Nahir Albright scored the biggest win of his career as he pounded out an eight-round unanimous decision over Jeremy Hill to capture the NABA Lightweight Title at the 2300 競技場在費城.

There were some close rounds with each guy pressing the action at different points of the fight. Albright seemed to get the better of the action as they headed down the stretch. 紐約 (七月 21 2021) – Split-T Management is pleased to announce the signing of its biggest athlete in 6’9″ Iowa-native Antonio Mireles.

Mireles, 24 years-old of Des Moines, Iowa is affectionately known as “The Lincoln Giant” because of his tremendous stature and status as a graduate of Lincoln High School in Des Moines.

“I am very excited to sign with Split-T Management. They had their eye on me as an amateur. They saw me in a few tournaments and they were impressed. The goal was the Olympics and now I am ready to turn professional,” said Mireles.


“I am a boxer, I like to keep my opponents at bay and use my range. I am out in Oxnard training with Robert Garcia and hopefully will make my debut in September.”

“I am as excited about signing Antonio as anyone I’ve ever signed,” Split-T Management的David McWater說. “I think he has the ability to be heavyweight champion of the world some day and the opportunity to be a tremendous star.”

Mireles, of Mexican-American descent, initially began boxing at the Des Moines PAL at the age of 12 and started competing at 15. He was guided for his entire amateur career by a pair of two strong coaches in John Saunders and Elly Nunez.

In his relatively brief, but extremely successful run in the amateurs, Mireles compiled a record of 28-4 同 10 擊倒 – culminating in winning the 2020 USA Olympic Trials in the Super Heavyweight division. 波士頓 (七月 20, 2021) – Like so many of his fellow Irish boxers, amateur standout Thomas O’Toole is following the green and gold path from Ireland to Boston, after signing a managerial contract with 瑞安·羅奇（Ryan Roach）’s Fighter Locker.


The 23-year-old O’Toole is a promising light heavyweight prospect who captured top honors at the 2019 Irish Elite Championships. 去年, the Irish southpaw upset pre-tournament favorite Tony Browne in semifinals of the Irish Elite Championships, and he lost by split decision in the final to Emmet Brennan, who is representing Ireland in Tokyo at the Olympics.

“When I come in here, I don’t think of myself as a champion, I think of myself as someone who needs to earn the belt and tonight I felt that I did that.”

WOMEN’S FIGHT WILL MARK THE RETURN OF GLORY WATSON TO THE NEF CAGE

即時發布: Milford, 新罕布什爾 (七月 16, 2021) - 新英格蘭戰鬥 (NEF) returns with its next event, “NEF 44: Back in Black,” on August 21, 2021, at the Hampshire Dome in Milford, New Hampshire. The show will feature both mixed-martial-arts (MMA) and kickboxing fights. Earlier today, NEF announced the addition of a professional women’s strawweight bout to the fight card.沃森的榮耀(0-1) 將舉行Rebecca Brygmann(0-1) 在戰鬥重量 115 英鎊.

Glory Watson last appeared in the NEF cage in November 2019, suffering her first and only amateur loss in a strawweight title fight to a very tough Cara Greenwell (10-5).  Prior to that time, Watson had rattled off six wins in a row to start her amateur career, capturing the NEF Women’s Amateur Bantamweight Championship in the process. She made her professional debut during the pandemic on a fight card in Florida, losing via first round submission to Ariana Melendez (1-1).  Watson looks to get her first win as a professional on August 21. She currently represents Young’s MMA in Bangor, 緬因.

“I am looking forward to returning to the cage for an amazing promotion and to do so against an experienced opponent,” said Watson. “This will be my second professional fight, and I am beyond excited for the cage doors to lock behind me! Wishing my opponent a healthy fight camp and best of skill on August 21st!”

Like her opponent, Rebecca Bryggman will also be looking for the first win of her professional career at NEF 44. Bryggman made her pro debut for national promotion Bellator in a losing effort to Elise Reed (4-0) in October 2019.
