CRANSTON, Rhode Island (Novembre 25, 2015) – After his impressive second-round stoppage of Sergio “Cuatito” López (19-10-1, 13 KOs) ahir a la nit el divendres a The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, invicte blue-xip de pes ploma prospecte Toka “T-Niça” Kahn-Clary (17-0, 11 KOs) ha graduat oficialment d'un lluitador de vuit a deu assalts.
“”La meva actuació va ser bona,” Kahn-Clary looked back on his knockout of Lopez. “I didn’t do anything to make it a difficult fight. I was a little concerned that my opponent came in overweight (128 lliura. pes contracte però López pesava 132.2 lliures.), but I didn’t think too much of it. “Definitivament estic a punt per a la 10-rounders. (Cap entrenador) Peter (Manfredo, Sr.) Sempre m'ha de fer un munt de treball condicionat. Hem discutit moltes rondes de baralles de vuit assalts, so I’ve been ready for 10-round fights. I won’t be fighting again until next year, però vaig a estar de tornada al gimnàs següent dilluns.”
Un aficionat nord-americà decorat que tenia una 131-11 registre, destacar per una actuació medalla d'or en el 2010 Guants d'Or Nacionals Torneig, Kahn-Clary va passar en un xut perquè el 2016 U.S. Equip olímpic de boxa, Fa tres anys es va convertir en professional.

“Crec Toka va fer una gran declaració i ho va fer Top Rank (Promotor de Kahn-Clary),” Manfredo added. “They’re so high on him that they want to put him in a big fight. I told them to give us a 10-round fight first, potser al gener o febrer, and then we can talk about him fighting a top guy. There’s no rush; ell només 23.
“Toka’s really maturing. He still doesn’t have ‘man strength’ but he’s getting there. He always works hard. He spars hard with bigger guys.
