Quezada was born and raised in Chicago and racked up an impressive amateur career by winning three state Silver Gloves championships, three Chicago City-Wide championships, two regional Silver Gloves championships and a 2009 National Junior Golden Gloves championship. The 21-year-old has fought professionally since 2014 and is unbeaten with six knockout victories. En 2016 he has already picked up victories over Ariel Vasquez and Cameron Kreal.
From Brooklyn originally but training in Florida, Galarza has won eight straight fights since his lone defeat, including decision victories over Yardley Suarez and Samuel Amoako in 2016. The 23-year-old continued to improve as a pro in 2015 as he picked up five victories including a stoppage of veteran Juan Ramon Solis. He takes on the 26-year-old Valenzuela who enters this fight on a four-bout winning streak including a win over previously unbeaten Carlos Castillo in November 2015. The Phoenix-native’s only losses came against unbeaten fighters.
The 23-year-old Holmes turned pro in 2013 after a brief amateur career and delivered knockout victories in his first three contests. A veteran of the venue he’ll be entering onSetembre 27; the Santa Fe-native’s last seven victories have come at Buffalo Thunder Casino.
