Edwards has defeated previously unbeaten boxers John Delperdang and Azriel Paez in his last two fights.
After a successful career in the Cuban amateur program, Frometa turned pro in 2015 and has fought out of Quito, اکوادور. The 27-year-old is unbeaten having fought three times in the U.S. in addition to bouts in Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.
