Kovács, a 2008 National Golden Gloves Champion and 2007 Junior olimpiai bajnok, debuted on ShoBox in November of 2015, scoring a hard-fought unanimous decision over Benjamin Whitaker. Smith’s promoter Vito Mielnicki of GH3 Promotions is fully behind his fighter and believes a breakout performance is in store for Július 14.
