The 26-year-old recorded six knockouts in a row before he defeated the previously unbeaten Lydell Rhodes in their October fight. Ghvamichava enters this bout on a five-fight win streak and is unbeaten since 2013. The 30-year-old took down previously unbeaten fighters Jonathan Garcia and Chris Singleton in 2014 and followed it up with triumphs over Cameron Kreal and Cosme Rivera in 2015. Originally from Poti, Georgia, Ghvamichava now trains out of Hayward, California.
Representing his native Mongolia, Nyambayar won the silver medal at the 2012 Summer Liolimpiki a London. The 23-year-old turned pro in 2015 and delivered four stoppage victories, most recently knocking out Pedro Melo in the second round. The unbeaten pro now trains out of Carson, California.
