Originally from Poti, Georgia, Ghvamichava now trains out of Hayward, California.
Representing his native Mongolia, Nyambayar won the silver medal at the 2012 Chilimwe Olimpiki mu London. The 23-year-old turned pro in 2015 and delivered four stoppage victories, most recently knocking out Pedro Melo in the second round. The unbeaten pro now trains out of Carson, California.
