BONITO, CALIF. (Agosto 23, 2016) – Undefeated super lightweight prospects are set to square off as Chicago’s Eddie Ramírez (13-0, 9 KOs) takes on Los Angeles-native Kevin Watts (11-0, 4 KOs) in the eight-round main event of Liga de Campeones de Boxeo MARTES TOE-TO-TOE en FS1 yBOXEO DE CAMPEONES por FOX Deportes Martes, Septiembre 13 de Robinson Rancheria Resort y Casino en Niza, California.

“It feels good to be fighting in my first main event,” dijo Ramírez. “I look at it as more motivation to keep working hard. I’m going to go in there and feel my opponent out and just push him every round. I go into every fight ready for a battle and I expect that on Septiembre 27.”
“I’m ready for another chance to show that I’m a world class fighter,” said Watts. “Eddie Ramirez is a solid prospect who hasn’t lost yet, but I’m going to be well prepared for victory on September 13.”

Born in Lancaster, California but fighting out of Los Angeles, Watts turned pro in 2013 and has been unblemished since. The 24-year-old defeated previously unbeaten Maximilliano Becerra in April 2015 and in his last two outings he took down once-beaten fighters Michal Chudecki and Manuel Damairias Lopez.
