Gilberto „Zurdo“ Ramirezas atremia Dmitrijaus Bivolo pretenziją atmesti kovą dėl titulo

LAS VEGAS (Sausis 31, 2022) – Dar gruodį, iškart po Gilberto „Zurdo“ Ramirezo (43-0, 29 Kos) sustabdė Yunieski Gonzalezą ir tapo privalomu Pasaulio bokso asociacijos varžovu (WBA) Lengvojo svorio pasaulio super čempionas Dmitrijus Bivolas (19-0, 11 Kos) kuris staiga ir stebėtinai sutemo, kol neseniai jis nepagrindė teiginio, kad „Zurdo“ atsisakė pasiūlymo kovoti su juo.


Bivolas buvo cituojamas neseniai paskelbtoje bokso naujienų ataskaitoje, kurią paėmė ir kitos žiniasklaidos priemonės, posakis, „Tikrai žinau, kad mano komanda pasiūlė Team Ramirez kovoti su manimi gruodį 11oji Rusijoje, ir pasiūlyta piniginė buvo maždaug tokia pati, kokia man buvo pasiūlyta kovoti su juo ant a (Golden Boy Promotions) šou. Jis pasiūlymą atmetė“.


„Nežinau, kodėl jis sako, kad jie man pasiūlė muštis,– atkirto Ramirezas, „Bet jis turi būti tikrai sutrikęs. Kad būtų aišku, niekada nebuvo sutartis, kuri buvo išsiųsta mano komandai ar „Golden Boy“ dėl kovos; Skirtingai nuo to, kaip jam ir jo komandai iš „Golden Boy“ buvo sudaryta sutartis gruodžio mėn. Ramirez, pirmasis meksikietis, pasiekęs pasaulio super vidutinio svorio čempiono titulą, yra buvusi Pasaulio bokso organizacija (WBO) Čempionas, kuris pelnė savo titulą prieš „Bivol“, laimėdamas WBA titulo eliminavimo turnyrą prieš Gonzalezą.


„Po Bivol, Joe Smithas yra kitas mano taikinys, nes jis turi mano diržą (WBO) kad turėjau prie 168 svarų,“, - pastebėjo Ramirezas. „Esu geriausias pussunkis svorio kategorijos sportininkas ir tai nėra iš arti. Yra priežastis, kodėl šie čempionai bijo vadinti mano vardu, bet greitai jie neturės pasirinkimo. Smitą baigčiau mažiau nei 6 raundai. "


Bivolas taip pat sakė anksčiau minėtoje istorijoje: „Mano motyvacija ir ambicijos nesikeičia jau seniai – noriu kovoti su geriausiais. Noriu įrodyti, kad esu geriausias savo divizione.

Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez says Dmitry Bivol now has nowhere to run

LAS VEGAS (Lapkritis 17, 2021) – Frustrated by Dmitry Bivol’s silence, even after Team Zurdo and Golden Boy Promotions sent the World Boxing Association (WBA) Light Heavyweight World Super Champion a legitimate contract offer, Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez now has a clear path to his first World title shot in the light heavyweight division.

Ramirez (42-0, 28 Kos) has been matched against Yunieski “The Monster” Gonzalez (21-3, 17 Kos) gruodžio 18 San Antonio (TX) in the official WBA Light Heavyweight Title Eliminator to determine Bivol’s mandatory challenger.

“I’m excited to end the year with this eliminator bout,” Ramirez said. “This is the path I’ve been planning for and I’m very humbled and honored to be in this position. The WBA is a great organization and I appreciate Mr. Gilberto Mendoza for allowing me to be in this position.”

Buivolai (18-0, 11 Kos) expressed his desire to fight Ramirez before and after the latter knocked out Sullivan Barrera (22-3, 14 Kos) this past this past July. Suddenly, nors, Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearns claimed that Bivol would instead fight John Ryder next month in the United Kingdom, and then target WBA and WBC Super Middleweight Champion“Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (56-1-2, 38 Kos), at either 168 arba 175 svarų.
