CASABLANCA, Marroc (Febrer 2, 2017) – Former Interim cruiserweight world champion Yuri “El Toro” Kalenga will provide chief support Febrer 18 for pro-debuting Moroccan amateur boxing sensation Mohammad Rabii en el “Battle of Casablanca” targeta, presented by Nowhere2Hyde, at Complexe de Sportif Mohammed V Arena in Casablanca, Marroc.
Kalenga (22-3, 15 KOs), fighting out of France by way of The Congo, is currently rated No. 12 per l'Associació Mundial de Boxa (AMB) i n. 16 pel Consell Mundial de Boxa (CMB). The knockout artist takes on Garrett “The Ultimate Warrior” Wilson (17-11-1, 9 KOs), de Filadèlfia, who is a former United States Boxing Association (USBA) and North American Boxing Federation (NABF) campió.
En 2014, Kalenga captured the WBA Interim title with a 12-round split decision over 32-1 Mateusz Masternak in Monaco, followed with a successful title defense in Canada against 12-0 Denton Daley by way of a 12º round technical knockout.
Kalenga has never been in a dull fight. Two of his three career losses have been to current WBA Super cruiserweight champion Denis Lebedev (26-2), who Kalenga dropped in the fourth round, by way of a 12-round unanimous decision in Russia, and last June he was stopped for the first time in his seven-year pro career by 20-0 Yunier Dorticós in Paris for the Interim WBA strap.
The 23-year-old Rabii defeated 2016 Medallista d'or olímpic Daniyar Yeleussinov in the welterweight division championship finale of the 2015 AIBA World Amateur Championships to capture a gold for his native Morocco. Rabii won a bronze medal at the 2016 Jocs Olímpics al Brasil, dropping a highly-disputed decision (0-3) in the semifinals to Uzebek boxer Shakhram Giyasov, the eventual silver medalist.
The ultra-charismatic Rabii has reached “rock star” status in Morocco, testament by an average of 6-million Moroccans viewing each of Rabbi’s Olympic matches on Arryadia Television. “We are very excited to work with our television partners, Arryadia, on our February 18º show as the first of five shows in 2017 featuring Mohammed Rabii,” promotor Gary Hyde dit. “Rabii has the entire nation of Morocco behind him and he will be challenging for top welterweight honors in no time at all.”
Rabii will take on veteran Hungarian boxer Adam “Noi dolent” Mate (24-10, 17 KOs) in the six-round main event.
Also in action on “Battle of Casablanca” will be former World Boxing Association (AMB) and International Boxing Organization (IBO) world featherweight champion, Simpiwe Vetyeka (29-3, 17 KOs), who is world ranked No. 4 per l'AMB, No. 6 per L'Anell magazine, i n. 7 pel CMB. The gifted South African faces undefeated Hungarian prospect David Nerna (8-0, 8 KOs) en un combat a 10 assalts.
Netherlands light middleweight Gevorg Khatchikian (24-2, 12 KOs) will also be in action against Ugandan Med “Kabona” Sebyala (16-8-1. 13 KOs) in another 10-rounder. Khatchikian, who will be fighting as a 154-pounder for the first time as a professional, has only lost twice as a pro, both to present super middleweight world champions, James Degale (FIB) i Gilberto Ramirez (OMB).
Hyde manages Rabii, Kalanga and Vetyeka.

World champion Beibut Shumenov to defend title vs. Junior Wright this Saturday night in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (Maig 18, 2016) – Associació Mundial de Boxa (AMB) Provisional campió mundial creuer Shumenov Beibu (16-2, 10 KOs) makes his first title defense aquest dissabte nit (Maig 21) against WBA No. 11-Qualificació Junior “Huracà” Wright (15-1-1, 12 KOs) at The Chelsea inside of The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
“I’m happy to get the opportunity to fight aquest dissabte nit,” Shumenov dir, “but I wish that I could fight more often. I’ve been ready since January. Every training session I gain new knowledge. I am a completely different fighter than in my last fight.”
Shumenov’s last fight was back in July, in which he defeated B.J. Flors (31-1-1, 20 KOs) by 12-round unanimous decision in Las Vegas to capture the vacant WBA Interim title, making the former WBA light heavyweight champion Shumenov the first professional boxer from Kazakhstan to be a two-division world champion.
By becoming the WBA Interim cruiserweight champion, Shumenov also became the No. 1 ranked mandatory challenger for WBA Super cruiserweight titlist Denis Lebedev (28-2, 21 KOs), who also fights aquest dissabte in Russia against International Boxing Federation (FIB) campió Victor Emilio “El Tyson de Proveïment” Ramírez (22-2-1, 17 KOs) in a unification match.
The WBA has already mandated that the Lebedev-Ramirez must fight Shumenovwithin 120 dia. LAS VEGAS (Abril 29, 2016) – Associació Mundial de Boxa (AMB) Interim cruiserweight world champion Shumenov Beibu (16-2, 10 KOs), the only Kazakhstan-native to hold world titles in two different weight classes, is disputing the WBA’s sanctioning of the WBA “regular” cruiserweight world championship fight, Maig 20 a París, between two lower-ranked WBA fighters, No. 2 Yunier Dorticós i n. 5 Youri Kalenga (recently upgraded to No. 3).
Al juliol passat, Shumenov defeated B.J. Flors by way of a 12-round unanimous decision to become the mandatory challenger for WBA “regular” campió creuer Denis Lebedev, who was later elevated to “Súper” campió.

This is unfair to fans, who deserve to watch the best fighting the best, especially when a world championship is at stake! We now have this odd situation where there will be three separate WBA cruiserweight fights in May, all for a different version of WBA world title I just don’t feel anyone should get the WBA ‘regular’ title without first defeating a champion or at least the top-ranked fighter in the division. The WBA knew I was and am ready to fight. Its decision makes no sense and, En la meva opinió, diminishes the prestige and meaning of the title. “The WBA told me and announced to the media that it was working to have only one world champion in each division. While I’ve been sitting out the last four months waiting to fight, the WBA has decided to allow six different guys to fight for 3 WBA cruiserweight world titles, practically on the same day, instead of crowning only one WBA cruiserweight world champion. I look forward to returning to the ring and my manager, Al Haymon, has advised me that I will fight in May and we will announce next week. I want to thank everyone for their support and I apologize to my family, amics, fans and my country, Kazakhstan, for this chaos the WBA has caused that has damaged and delayed my professional boxing career. I will move forward and continue to fight inside the ring, letting my attorneys and manager fight this unfair situation outside the ring.”

LAS VEGAS (Març 22, 2016) – Associació Mundial de Boxa (AMB) Provisional campió mundial creuer Shumenov Beibu (16-2, 10 KOs) està apuntant a la 21 de de maig de guanyador del títol d'unificació entre el campió de l'AMB Denis Lebedev(28-2, 21 KOs) i la Federació Internacional de Boxa (FIB) campió Victor Emilio “El Tyson de Proveïment” Ramírez (22-2-1, 17 KOs).
Quan Shumenov derrotat B.J. Flors(31-1-1, 20 KOs) al juliol passat a Las Vegas, l'ex campió de pes semipesado de l'AMB es va convertir en campió de l'AMB interí, així com el seu n. 1 contendent obligatori.
Lebedev, però, No s'ha lliurat una baralla obligatòria des del passat Abril 10 en què va guanyar per decisió en 12 assalts sobre el llavors campió interí AMB Youri Kalenga. Lebedev made a voluntary tittle offense last November, parada Lateef Kayode en el vuitè assalt.

SURO, Irlanda (Febrer. 12, 2015) – Celebrat boxejador amateur cubà Marc Forestal farà el seu debut professional demà nit (Divendres, Febrer. 13) en una de quatre rondes súper baralla de pes gall contra el veterà Ignac “La Prova” Kassai a 5 Estrella Saló de Banquets a Queens, Nova York.

 

Un tres vegades campió nacional cubà, el jugador de 25 anys d'edat, va derrotar Forestal 2012 Medallista d'or olímpic Robeisy Rameriez 14 fa mesos en una final de campionat nacional sensacional.

 

Lluita com un semi-pro a la Sèrie Mundial de Boxa (WSB) per l'invicte 2014 equip campió Cuba domadors, Forestal va ser invicte en tres partits WSB abans de desertar als Estats Units l'abril passat.

 

Forestal va signar un contracte el passat mes d'octubre amb seu a Irlanda, Gerent internacional de boxa Gary Hyde, president de Gestió Nowhere2Hyde. Hyde també gestiona present, campions del món del passat i del futur, com ara l'Associació Mundial de Boxa (AMB) Súper & Organització Mundial de Boxa (OMB) pes súper gall i medallista d'or olímpic en dues ocasions cubana, Guillermo “El Xacal” Rigondeaux (15-0, 10 KOs), AMB campió creuer interí Yuri “El Toro” Kalenga (21-1, 14 KOs), l'ex campió de pes mitjà de l'OMB i actual Federació Internacional de Boxa (FIB) No. 1 contendent obligatori Hassan N'Dam N'Jikam (31-1, 18 KOs), i campió mundial amateur Blagoy Naydenov.

 

“Marc Forestal és un boxejador jove excel·lent que té un estil ple d'acció,” Hyde va dir. “Ell té el que es necessita per convertir-se en campió del món. No vam poder trobar un oponent amb seu a Estats Units per combatre Marc perquè deien que era un altre campió Rigondeaux i Olímpic. Mentre que va vèncer un campió olímpic, Marcus no era un olímpic. “Guillermo Rigondeaux és un súper campió ia Cuba em va mirar a ell com al seu germà menor,” Forestal afegir. “Ell ha dominat la divisió de pes súper gall i aviat s'unirà a ell en la part superior.”

 

Viure a Los Angeles i va entrenar allà per Joe Goossen, Segona baralla professional de Forestal està programada tentativamente per Març 6 en les rodalies de Glendale, Califòrnia.
