Returning to the ring for the first time dans deux ans, Alexander was sharp from the outset, using the skills that made him a two-division champion to befuddle Castillo. “My coach was telling me to pick it up throughout the fight,” a déclaré Alexander. “The rust got to me a little bit. I know that I can be more active. I really started to feel warmed up later in the fight. I know that I can do way better but I was happy to have this experience.”

Castillo continued to try to walk Alexander down and stayed persistent in throwing power punches as much as he could over the course of the fight.
“He kept moving side to side and didn’t really stay in there and fight,” Saïd Castillo. “I wanted him to run less but I just kept coming forward trying to throw punches. I got dazed a little from the knockdown but nothing bad. That was more about his speed.”
Alexander proved to be too sharp throughout the welterweight affair, consistently avoiding Castillo’s big punches and delivering his own varied and effective attack. Après 10 tours, Alexander was officially back in the win column with a unanimous decision by scores of 100-89 deux fois et 96-93.
“I love doing what I do,” a déclaré Alexander. “This is what I was born to do since I was seven-years-old. I’m thankful to be back doing what I love.

The opening bout of the telecast saw unbeaten Miguel Cruz (17-0, 11 KOs) earn a close unanimous decision over David Grayton (15-2-1, 11 KOs) in a competitive welterweight clash.
Both fighters took their time getting started in round one before Grayton broke through in round two and stunned Cruz against the ropes late in the round. Cruz bounced back in round three landing a right hand late in the third round that forced Grayton to tie up and eventually tackle Cruz to the canvas in order to survive the round.
Cruz suffered his first cut of the fight during the round three exchange but fought through the wound under his right eye and dropped Grayton with a jab early in round six to score a crucial knockdown. The intensity of the fight continued into the eighth round when Grayton began to tee-off on Cruz as blood poured from a second cut, this one above Cruz’s right eye.
The back and forth battle continued until the final bell, with both men throwing wildly as the referee attempted to break up the action. Après 10 rounds all three judges saw the fight in favor of Cruz by the score of 96-93.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL. – (Octobre 24, 2017) – Former 147-pound world champion Devon Alexander will battle rugged contender Walter Castillo in the main event of Premier Boxing Champions MARDIS TOE-to-toe sur FS1 et Champions de boxe sur Fox Deportes Mardi, Novembre. 21 from The Coliseum in St. Pétersbourg, Florida with televised coverage beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT.
The 10-round bout will headline a show promoted by Warriors Boxing and Fire Fist Boxing Promotions and features a 10-round co-main event between unbeaten welterweight prospect Miguel Cruz against once-beaten David Grayton. Two of the fighting Russell brothers, Antonio and Antuanne, brothers of featherweight champion Gary Russell Jr., will enter the ring in separate six-round matches.

The 30-year-old Alexander (26-4, 14 KOs) will end a two-year layoff due to health issues when he steps in against Castillo. Alexander, de St. Louis, Missouri, won the 147-pound world championship with a unanimous decision victory over Randall Bailey in 2012. He lost the title via unanimous decision against Shawn Porter the next year. After campaigning the last few years at 140 livres, Château (26-4-1, 19 KOs) is stepping up to 147 pounds to take on the former champion Alexander. The 29-year-old Castillo, de Managua, Nicaragua, will be ending a 16-month layoff onNovembre 21. Castillo lost by TKO to Sergey Lipinets in a 140-pound clash his last time out after previously fighting to a draw against Keita Obara in a title eliminator.

The 27-year-old welterweight from St. Mary, Florida scored a unanimous decision victory over Alex Martin in a rematch in his last fight on Juin 27 after earning a split-decision in their first fight and beating Ali Mammadov in between.
The 30-year-old Grayton (15-1-1, 11 KOs) is coming off a technical draw against former champion Kermit Cintron in his last fight on Mars 17. Grayton, de Washington D.C., suffered the only loss of his career when he was stopped by technical knockout by Bryant Perrella on June 4, 2016 before returning to defeat Kareem Martin in August last year leading up to the Cintron fight.

Tunica, Manquer. (Juillet 15) – It was a good night for Russian super lightweight Sergey Lipinets (10-0, 7 KOs) who fought through a deep cut over his eye to score a rousing TKO over Nicaraguan brawler Walter Castillo (26-4-1, 19 KOs) dans une Premier Champions de boxe (PBC) sur ESPN & ESPN main event that further solidified Lipinets as a force to be reckoned with in the 140-pound weight class. The night of fights, which emanated from Horseshoe Tunica Hotel & Casino in Tunica, Mademoiselle., marked the third PBC on ESPN & ESPN Deportes telecast in the month of July.
Lipinets made his power known early in the fight, but that did not deter Castillo from doing his best to feel out the Kazakhstan-born slugger. The action picked up in the third round as a swinging left thrown by Lipinets caused blood to pour from Castillo’s mouth. Castillo began the fourth round with an offensive attack, forcing Lipinets to back up toward the ropes. Castillo continued to throw several punches, including one that caused a deep gash above Lipinets’ oeil gauche. Castillo did not relent as he aimed for the cut, the first of Lipinets’ carrière. Despite the steady flow of blood dripping down Lipinets’ visage, it did not seem to bother him.
Castillo’s punch output slowed down considerably as the fight wore on and Lipinets became more and more comfortable, despite the large cut above his eye. PBC on ESPN announcers Teddy Atlas and Joe Tessitore credited Lipinets’ corner, led by renowned trainer Buddy McGirt, for keeping the deep cut under control. Less than one minute into the seventh round, Lipinets showed a burst of power, attacking Castillo, pressing him against the ropes, forcing Bill Clancy to wave off the fight at 2:45. At the time of the stoppage two of the judges had scored the fight even, with the third favoring Lipinets by one point.
“We knew Walter Castillo was very tough guy coming in,” Saïd Lipinets. “No one ever stopped him. No one ever even hurt him in the ring before and he was in with some solid guys. I knew he could take a punch and punch back. Pour être honnête, si, I was surprised by how good of a fighter he was.
Of his first cut as a professional, Lipinets said, “The cut bugged me for a while and I was closing my eye a bit, but I’m a warrior and I know how to take care of myself when I’m trouble.
“I have only ten fights and I just beat a guy that good. I think I did ok. This fight just took me to a completely different level in boxing. I guarantee that other guys with 20/25 fights won’t be able to stay in the ring with me.
“You can say I’m a slow starter,” continued Lipinets. “But if I see an opening I will take it early. I pace myself and study my opponent and then if the guy is still standing in the last half of the fight, he better run.”
Castillo was unhappy with the stoppage saying, “They stopped it too early. I was still fighting. I was fine. I was not hurt. I don’t know why they stopped it. I was waiting him out and about to open up. I am a veteran. If I was hurt, I would have taken a knee. How do you stop a fight without a knockdown?
“I had him fighting scared with the cut,” Saïd Castillo. “He was fighting desperate and that was his last try.

The Mongolian warrior, who fights out of Carson, Calif., was able to finish the fight at 1:24of the first round as he threw a left to the body followed by a right hand that saw Vazquez hitting the canvas for a third and final time.
“I didn’t know I was going to be able to put that kind of a performance on [against Rafael],” said Nyambayar. “j'ai 100 percent of my energy left. I don’t know exactly how much power I actually have.
“I had a great camp and I was ready for whatever came my way,” continued Nyambayar. “I’m very happy with the result, but I expected to win. I came in very confident. I thought it would go three or four rounds, but the opportunity to end it earlier appeared and I took it. Whoever comes my way, Je suis prêt. I’m on the road to be world champion and no one can stop me.”
“I just got caught and I couldn’t recover,” said Vazquez. “He’s a very strong puncher and he caught me still warming up. It happens in boxing. One of those things.”
“Vazquez said to me, you’ve got a future world champion on your hands,” said Nyambayar’s renowned trainer Joe Goossen. “A guy that is going to know that best is the guy getting hit. Avec [Nyambayar’s] reaction time and his speed, Vazquez saw and felt all of that and he came to the conclusion that Tug is going to be a world champion.”
The televised bantamweight swing bout went the full six rounds as Houston-based David Perez (7-0, 3 KOs) outpointed Adan Ortiz (9-2, 8 KOs) of Guerrero, Mexique, who took the fight on five day’s notice. Perez started the fight strong, knocking down Ortiz toward the end of the first round, but the Mexican native rose from the canvas and was saved by the bell as Perez threw a barrage of punches to Ortiz’s head and body. Ortiz started the second round strong and maintained a tremendous amount of heart for the remainder of the bout. Both continuously threw flurries of punches, exchanging left hooks throughout. The judges saw it in favor of Perez with scorecards reading 60-53, 59-54 et 58-55.

Lipinets hopes a decisive victory over Castillo will put him squarely in the mix of 140-pounds contenders and he has enlisted the help of Buddy McGirt as his new trainer heading into this fight. Here is what Lipinets had to say about his matchup, training camp and more:
On fighting in the main event on ESPN:
“I’m very thankful to be fighting on a great network like ESPN. I’m hoping to score a spectacular knockout and have it be shown on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays…ce serait génial. One thing the fans watching can count on, is me throwing a lot of hard punches. I want to have an electrifying performance.”
On his current training camp:
“I’ve been working really hard to improve on every aspect of my game. I’m seeing improvement in a lot of areas, especially fighting on the inside. I want to be a well-rounded fighter who can make adjustments in a fight and it all starts in the gym. I’m happy with my sparring sessions. I’m feeling really confident going into this fight.”
On facing tough opponent Walter Castillo:
“Castillo is a veteran with many more fights than me. I know experience will be on his side, but I have many fights in kickboxing that will make up for my lack of fights in the boxing arena. I’m not sure how he deals with southpaws, but I’m going to be setting the pace from the opening round. I’m expecting him to be in great shape so I believe it’s going to be a good competitive fight, but one I feel I can win.”
On how he feels his career is progressing…
“I never dreamed everything would come so fast. In only my eighth fight, I’ll be fighting on national television for the second time, and it’s very beneficial to my career. I’m making a name for myself and everyone is starting to take notice. My career is taking off.”
On his relationship with veteran trainer Buddy McGirt…
“Buddy and I are working great together. He brings a lot of experience and knowledge to the ring. He comes up with fantastic game plans as he’s able to see flaws in my opponents. Being that he’s a former fighter, I have a tremendous amount of respect for him. We both know what it’s like to be in the ring and that’s very important to me. I’m happy with his instructions.”

MIAMI (Novembre 7, 2015) – Kevin Bizier (25-2, 17 KOs) arrêté Fredrick Lawson(24-1, 20 KOs) Après les 10 tours de l'action toe-to-toe sur Premier Champions de boxe(PBC) sur NBCSN Samedi nuit de Miccosukee Resort and Gaming à Miami.
Le coin des Lawson a arrêté le combat après le dixième tour que Lawson a indiqué que sa mâchoire peut avoir été brisé. Bizier pression Lawson au long du combat et de lui faire du mal avec de puissantes mains droites.
Dans la cinquième ronde, Bizier a atterri un de ces droits puissants parfaitement sur la tête de Lawson et envoyé le combattant précédemment invaincu sur la toile. Faire sa U.S. début, Bizier portait Lawson bas et n'a jamais permis à son adversaire à entrer dans un rythme.
En cas de co-principal, Du Nicaragua Walter Castillo (26-3-1, 19 KOs) et Keita Obara(14-1-1, 13 KOs) se sont battus pour un tirage majorité dans une bataille de va et vient qui semblait avoir été gagné par Obara du Japon.
Faire sa U.S. début, Obara a utilisé sa longueur et de nombreuses bonnes mains au bon moment pour étouffer l'attaque du Castillo agressive. Le Nicaragua Castillo est sorti de la porte avec une forte deuxième tour quand il a mal Obara sur les cordes avec plusieurs averses de neige.
Obara a semblé être le combattant plus frais dans les tours plus tard et jeta poinçons pointus tout en contrôlant la lutte avec son mouvement. Castillo a pu envoyer Obara en mode de retraite à la fin de moments dans la lutte avec ses tous azimuts barrages, mais a pris encore beaucoup de peine pour ses efforts.
Castillo saignait de son œil, la bouche et l'oreille à différents moments tout au long de l'affaire de 12 rounds. Les juges totaux finaux étaient 115-113 pour Obara et 114-114 deux fois.

“J'ai été surpris. Il est pas un puncheur comme son dossier indiquerait. Il m'a frappé bien, mais jamais me blesser. Je ne me sentais fatigué ou aucune douleur. Dans le dixième tour, je suis toujours très forte.
“Il commençait les tours fort mais il disparaître d'ici la fin de la ronde et qui est quand je viendrais sur”

Fredrick Lawson n'a fait aucun commentaire en raison de la mâchoire blessés.

“La lutte a été une très bonne, lutte vigoureuse. Je respecte la décision des juges. Je me suis battu mon meilleur.
“L'œil ne affecte ma vision. Dès que je me suis frappé, tout est allé floue. Mon coin fait un bon travail pour me faire à travers la 12 tours. Je lui ai donné mon tout, mais l'œil fait d'entraver les choses que je voulais faire.
“Je voudrais certainement battre avec lui à nouveau. Je voudrais avoir une décision finale sur qui est le gagnant était. Si il se battra, J'aimerais bien.”
KEITA OBARA
“Il est de ma faute pour ne pas l'assommant. Je ne suis pas d'accord avec la décision, mais il est de ma faute à la fin parce qu'il était toujours là à la fin de 12 tours.
“Je débarquai bons coups de poing sur lui, mais aucun n'a été poinçons de finale. Je savais que pour le battre ici, je devrais obtenir le KO et je ne comprends pas.
“Il était vraiment amusant et excitant à combattre dans U.S. Avant que la décision a été lu je prenais le temps de ma vie. Maintenant, je suis déçu de la décision.
“Je voudrais me battre avec lui à nouveau si l'arrangement ont été faites.”

Le 31-year-old a combattu exclusivement sur son sol de la maison et en sera à sa US. ses débuts sur Novembre 7. Né au Ghana, mais les combats de Chicago, Lawson est invaincu depuis le tournant pro en 2011 et arrêté 19 de la première 20 il fait face à des adversaires. CARSON, Californie. (Avril 18, 2015) – Confiant et déterminé, Andrzej “Le polonaisPrince-” Fonfara (27-3, 16 KOs) gâté le retour de bague Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (48-2-1, 32 KOs) de façon retentissante Samedi nuit, revêtements de sol l'ancien champion des poids moyens une fois en route vers une unilatérale TKO au neuvième round dans l'événement principal deShowtime Championship Boxing survivre AFFICHER L'HEURE.

“Je voyais ses coups venant facilement dans. Je sais que je jetai plus de coups. Je fus un peu surpris qu'il ne sortait pas pour le (10e) mais il a été coupé, avait été de se battre et venait de se renversé, donc il savait ce qui arriverait si il est sorti.

 

“Chavez a déclaré avant le combat qu'il ne pensait pas que je pourrais prendre ses coups de poing corps. Je pense que je les ai pris assez bon et passé ce test.

 

“Je sais qu'il ya des choses que je peux encore travailler à l'entraînement pour devenir un boxeur plus complet, maisce soir a été un rêve devenu réalité. Je veux un match revanche avec (World Heavyweight Champion Lumière) Adonis Stevenson.

 

A déclaré M. Chavez, le fils du légendaire icône mexicaine, Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. dans le ring après et avant il a été emmené à l'hôpital par mesure de précaution, “Peut être 170,172 livres, est trop grand pour moi, peut-être je vais vers le bas. Je ne suis pas sûr de ce que l'avenir me réserve. Ce fut un combat très difficile. Mais je tiens à féliciter Andrzej.”

 

Goossen a déclaré aux journalistes après qu'il avait “arrêté le combat. Il était ma décision. Je ne l'aime ce que je voyais. ”

Château, qui a vu une série de victoires de neuf lutte à sa fin, dit “Je pensais que je gagné le combat. Je ne suis pas obtenir un crédit pour les coups de poing, je jetais. Le juge qui a marqué ce 100-90; bien, cela me donne aucune chance de gagner ici. La coupe me dérangeait dans les premiers tours, mais n'a pas été un facteur après.”

 

Plus tôt Samedi, sur Showtime EXTREME, invaincu Moises “La Chucky” Fleurs (23-0, 16 KOs), de Guadalajara, Mexique, capturé le Championnat du Monde WBA intérimaire super coqs avec une décision partagée en 12 rounds palpitante sur le champion en titre Oscar Escandon (24-2 16 KOs), de Tolima, Colombie.

 

Fleurs, faire son 2015 débuts et troisième départ de suite aux États-Unis, triomphé par les scores de 116-112 deux fois et 113-115.

 

Un Flores émotionnelle était au bord des larmes après. “Ce est un rêve devenu réalité – plus un rêve devenu réalité – pour moi,” il dit. “Je vis ma famille sur la plage, manger de la viande. Je voyais mes bébés mieux habillés. Pour moi, cela est une victoire qui change la vie et, ben oui, Je pensais qu'il était très, très proche mais je me sens absolument que je gagné.

Nous sommes très loyaux et nous apprécions vraiment tout ce qu'ils ont fait pour nous.”

 

Escandon sentait qu'il avait fait assez pour gagner en dépit de blesser l'index droit sur sa main droite dans le septième round.

“Je l'ai fait tout ce que je pouvais, tout était dans ma portée, mais je pense que je me suis cassé ou fracturé mon doigt,” il dit. “En boxe bouger les choses qui sont hors de votre contrôle. Parce que je me suis blessé la main, Je ne pouvais pas coups de poing de la façon dont je voulais avec ma main droite. Je essayé de faire tout ce que je pouvais avec elle. Mais je ne voulais pas blesser davantage. Je suis d'accord, mais je voudrais vraiment aimer un match revanche.”

 

Dans la co-métrage Showtime EXTREME, super mi-moyens Omar “L'homme d'affaires”Chavez (33-3-1, 22 KOs), de Culiacan, le frère cadet de Chavez, Jr. et fils du légendaire Julio Cesar Sr., remporté une excitante, de haute lutte, give-and-take huit rondes décision unanime contre Richard Gutierrez (28-16-1, 17 KOs), de Arjona, Colombie.

Chavez a remporté par les scores de 78-75 deux fois et 77-74. Il n'y avait pas passes rabattues.
