Victory Sport & Entertainment signs Middleweight Anthony Flagg, Jr. to managerial contract

Detroit, MIch. (Zeven. 14, 2016)–Victory Sport & Entertainment is pleased to announce the signing of undefeated middleweight Anthony Flagg, Jr. to a managerial contract
Flagg of Detroit won his only professional bout as he stopped Josh Puchala in 48 seconds on April 10.
“I was very happy to sign with Victory Sports,” said Flagg. “I am happy that I have managers that will fight for my career. I know I will be world champion and I have the right managers that will help get me there.”
“We are excited to welcome Anthony to the VSE family. He’s a young fighter with tremendous upside and the fact he’s from a great fight town like Detroit is a bonus,” said manager Mike Leanardi
De 22 year-old had a distinguished amateur career that saw him go 75-10 and win numerous titles which includes being the 2012 USA National Champion,2012 Olympic Trials Quarterfinalist,2010 State Golden Gloves Champion, 2010 National Silver Gloves Champion, 2009 State Silver Gloves Champion, 2009 James Toney Tournament Champion, en de 2009 Junior Olympic Champion.

Flagg is trained by Ali Harrison, who is also the father of junior middleweight contender Tony Harrison.

“I am a boxer-puncher. I have power in both hands and I like to set up my shots. I can fight when I have to, but I can box, use the ring and use all of my skills.”

“I had a high-top fade haircut, I guess like Will Smith and then I got a commercial. Then I got the Eminem video. I also have modeled for a watch company and did a photo shoot for the movie “Linkshandige”.” This is a good start for a life after boxing.”
“I believe that I am the next big thing out of Detroit. Actually I think I can be the next big thing in the United States. I have a good team with my managers, but I also want to thank my fans, family and friends.”

NEW YORK, NY (Maart 3, 2016)–Deze zaterdag nacht in Columbus, Ohio,
Victory Sport & Vermaak is pleased to announce that undefeated middleweight prospect, Luis “Cuba” Arias will make the first in what we hope, are many headlining appearances when he takes on power punching Gilberto Santos of Brazil in a bout scheduled for ten rounds under the direction of world class trainer, John David Jackson.

Arias of Milwaukee, Wisconsin has a perfect record of 13-0 met zes knockouts.

“Camp has been excellent. Things have been coming together nicely and on time. I get better and stronger every camp,” Said Arias. “I am not overlooking Santos as he’s a strong fighter who’s coming to win but this is my time and I want to make a statement in my first headliner.”

“Training with John David Jackson has been a great. Having someone with his level of experience has helped me develop as a fighter. He has helped take my game to another level. Him and Derik Santos have been a great fit for me. I feel I have the best training team in boxing.”

De 25 year-old came into the pro ranks with high aspirations after a stellar amateur career that saw him win two US National Championships and a National PAL title, in addition to numerous medals on the international level.
In Jackson, he has a trainer who has trained many world champions and is currently one of the hot cornermen in boxing due to his work with current Light Heavyweight champion Sergey Kovalev.

“Luis has had a great camp he’s strong and on weight. He’s ready for his first headlining bout and wants to showcase his talent and show people that he’s the real deal,”said Jackson of his prized pupil,” Said Jackson.

“For this camp we are stressing the body attack. Luis is a good boxer with excellent skills and power. We are trying to develop his all-around game so we are focusing more on working the body for this fight.”

Jackson does not feel Cuba Arias is just any boxer. He sees major things in the future for him.
“Luis has the potential to become a World Champion. He was a tremendous amateur, Hij is moeilijk, determined with excellent power and great all around skills. 2016 should be his breakout year. He has the skills and needs to be showcased on a bigger stage. It’s time to take the wraps off and let him prove himself. New York(Juli 16, 2015)–Deze zaterdag at the Warren Valley Golf and Banquet Center in Warren, Michigan, Three prized fighters under the Victory Sports & Entertainment Management banner zal op het beeldscherm.
Ongeslagen Lichtgewicht, Sonny Fredrickson zullen in actie tegen de taaie veteraan Marteze Logan in 6-ronde Bout.

Ongeslagen vedergewicht Tyler McCreary zal op John Willoughby nemen in een 4-ronde Bout.

Ook Cleveland's Yaundale Evans will be making his return to the ring against Dwayne Wisdom in a 6-round Super Featherweight bout.

Fredrickson van Toledo, Ohio en gepromoot door Roc Nation Sports heeft een perfect record van 9-0 with six knockouts and is coming off a 2nd round stoppage on June 20 in Oakland, California over Juan Santiago. Die wedstrijd maakte deel uit van Roc Nation's Andre Ward- Paul Smith card.

It has been difficult to find opponents opponents willing to step in the ring with the 21 year-old Fredrickson as his combination of size and power has most opponents reluctant to face him.
