Када Схуменов поражен Б.Ј. Цвеће(31-1-1, 20 КОс) у јулу прошле године у Лас Вегасу, бивши ВБА светло шампион у тешкој категорији постала ВБА Привремени шампион као и њен број. 1 обавезно кандидат.
