I wanted to finish the fight early, but maybe next time. I signed a six-fight contract with M-1 Global. The atmosphere here in Sochi and the fans are excellent.
Georgian arin Raul Tutarauli (10-3-0, M-1: 5-1-0) won a three-round unanimous decision against Artur Lemos (8-3-0, M-1: 0-1-0), of Portugal, while Russian Viktor Kolesnik (10-2-1, M-1: 1-0-1) did the same versus Philip Rego (10-4-0, M-1: 0-2-0), Brasilgo.

A native of Kazakhstan fighting out of Russia, Nemkov (24-6-0, M-1: 17-5-0) has once again fought his way back to the top of the M-1 light heavyweight class. In 2013, Nemkov defeated Vasily Babich (11-8-0), Bigarren txandan aurkezteko baten bidez (beso-blokeoa), at M-1 Challenge 66, for the vacant M-1 Challenge light heavyweight title.

Markes (16-4-0, M-1: 0-0-0), Brasilgo, will be making his M-1 Global debut against Nemkov. In his last fight this past February, Markes choked out 15-4-0 Tony Lopez in the opening round of their King of the Cage super heavyweight championship match. Markes is a UFC and World Series of Fighting veteran
The M-1 Challenge 77 main card is stacked with entertaining, evenly-matched fights, including a potentially explosive throw-down between undefeated Russian middleweight prospect Artiom Frolov (8-0-0, M-1: 5-0-0) and always dangerous Talekh “Azerbaijan Terminator The” Nadzhafzade (5-1-1 (M-1: 2-0-1).

ORENBURG CITY, Errusiak (Maiatza 28, 2016) – Last night’s M-1 Challenge 66 event had its share of upsets, leading with a main event split decision victory by Rashid Yusopov over defending M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Viktor Nemkov, in Orenburg City, Errusiak.

Russian challenger Yusopov (7-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0) won a hard fought 5-round split decision over defending champion Nemkov (23-6-0, M-1: 14-5-0), fighting out of Russia by way of Kazakhstan, who was making his initial title defense.
Nemkov had captured the coveted M-1 Challenge light heavyweight title this past December, taking a 5-round decision from defending champion Puetz, who had won a 5-round split decision April, 2014 against Nemkov for the title. Nemkov is a two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion having defeated Vasily Babich (WSUB3 – beso-blokeoa) for the vacant title that he then lost in his first title defense to Puetz.
The 23-year-old Yusupov was riding a 4-fight win streak going into his fight with Nemkov. A former Russian, European and World Amateur MMA champion, Yusupov is known as a dangerous striker whose signature moves are powerful kicks.
PUETZ vs. Seledtsov was billed asTerminator” vs. “Spetsnevand it lived up to its name as Puetz won a unanimous 3-round decision. M-1 Global also announced that former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Stephan “T-800” Puetz will also return to action against M-1 Global-debuting Andrey Seledtsov.

The 23-year-old Yusupov (6-2-0, M-1: 3-1-0), fighting out of Sochi, Errusiak, has won four fights in a row to put himself into title contention. A former Russian, European and World Amateur MMA champion, unlike many of his fellow countrymen from the North Caucasus, Yusupov (pictured below) is a dangerous striker whose signature moves are powerful kicks. He is also a top-notch wrestler, evident by his M-1 Challenge victories against Charles Andrade eta Martin Zawada.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Munich, Alemanian, successfully defended his M-1 Challenge title twice, after beating Nemkov in their original championship match, aurka Luis Fernando Miranda (SUB2 – choke) Abuztua 15, 2014 at M-1 Challenge 50, eta Valery Myasnikov (KO/TKO2 – punches) Abendua 17, 2014 at M-1 Challenge 54.
