Branje, PA (Avgust 18, 2015)–Zadnji petek zvečer ob Prudential Center inNewark, New Jersey, Težji bojevnik Travis Kauffman (29-1, 21 KO je) scored a first round stoppage over Richard Carmack in Kauffman’s first fight in 19 mesecev.

Kauffman pristala popolno pravico kavelj iz Ljevak držo, ki je poslala Carmack dol 2:07.

Bout potekala na kartici, ki je bila headlined z bojem med nekdanja svetovna prvaka Antonio Tarver in Steve Cunningham, ki se je končalo z neodločenim izidom.

“Nisem si mislil, Carmack bi udaril tako težko, kot je to storil. I went out there with the mindset of going some rounds to work off ring rust. As soon as he hit me with a right hand, Vedel sem, da je bil močan in je želel, da bi ga ven hitro. The gameplan that we worked on was to go to the body and once I dropped him, Vedel sem, da je bilo storjeno,” je dejal Kauffman.

Kauffman je posledica nazaj na september 18 na Claridge v Atlantic Cityju.

“I ni zapravljal časa in sem že nazaj v telovadnici z Naazim Richardson in moj oče in jaz sem pripravljen, da se premaknete naprej z večjimi bojev. I expect this fight to be another tune up and then I will be ready for a much bigger fight.”
