Čítanie, PA (August 18, 2015)–Minulý piatok večer v Prudential Center inNewark, New Jersey, Heavyweight uchádzač Travis Kauffman (29-1, 21 KO) scored a first round stoppage over Richard Carmack in Kauffman’s first fight in 19 mesiaca.

Kauffman pristál perfektné pravý hák od Southpaw postoj, ktorý poslal Carmack dole 2:07.

Zápas sa konal na kartu, ktorá bola hlavnou hviezdou boji medzi bývalí majstri sveta Antonio Tarver a Steve Cunningham, ktorý skončil remízou.

“Nemyslím si, že by sa Carmack udrel tak silno, ako to urobil. I went out there with the mindset of going some rounds to work off ring rust. As soon as he hit me with a right hand, Vedel som, že bol silný a chcel ho dostať von rýchlo. The gameplan that we worked on was to go to the body and once I dropped him, Vedel som, že bolo vykonané,” povedal Kauffman.

Kauffman je splatná opäť september 18 u Claridge v Atlantic City.

“Zbytočný som čas a už som späť v posilňovni s Naazim Richardson a môj otec a ja som pripravený pokročiť s väčšími bojov. I expect this fight to be another tune up and then I will be ready for a much bigger fight.”
