Čitanje, PA (Avgust 18, 2015)–Prošlog petka noć u Prudential Centru inNewark, Nju Džerzi, Teškoj kategoriji kandidat Travis Kauffman (29-1, 21 KO-a) scored a first round stoppage over Richard Carmack in Kauffman’s first fight in 19 mjeseci.

Kauffman sletio savršen desnicom iz southpaw stav da je poslao Carmack dole u 2:07.

Borbu održan na karticu koja je pod naslovom od borbe između bivših svjetskim prvacima Antonio Tarver i Steve Cunningham koji je okončan remijem.

“Nisam mislio Carmack bi pogodila što je jače učinio. I went out there with the mindset of going some rounds to work off ring rust. As soon as he hit me with a right hand, Znao sam da je bio jak i želio da ga brzo. The gameplan that we worked on was to go to the body and once I dropped him, Znao sam da je urađeno,” rekao je Kauffman.

Kauffman je trebalo da se vrati septembra 18 u Claridge u Atlantic City.

“I nije gubio vrijeme i sam već vratio u teretani sa Naazim Richardson i moj tata i ja sam spreman da krene naprijed sa većim borbama. I expect this fight to be another tune up and then I will be ready for a much bigger fight.”
