Khan to Defend World Crown Against Rios in Bradford this Saturday 7th Sept

Bradford’s four time, two division World Champion Tasif Khan returns to his home town this coming Saturday, where he is set to face Mexico’s Luis Alberto Rios at St Georges Hall on the 7th September in his first defence of the World Boxing Union (UMA) World Super Flyweight Crown he secured in Lagos, Nigeria via a third round knockout over Ghana’s Asamoah Wilson last December.

Khan (17-1-2), who is promoted by Prince Stanley Williams’ Pennsylvania and London based Monarch Events and Promotions, has stopped ten of his opponents, more importantly his last seven opponents which includes everyone he has fought for World Championship honours.

Rios (25-5-1) is tough and a big puncher with an impressive KO count, in his case seventeen.

Rios secured the Panamanian title on just his eighth fight, he then won both the Panamanian and WBA Fedalatin Minimum Weight titles on his next outing and followed that up on his next fight with WBO Latino Minimum weight title.

En 2012 he won the WBC Latino Light Flyweight title against Arnoldo Solano and then successfully defended it against Luis Carilio.

En 2013 he unsuccessfully challenged John Riel Casimero for the IBF World Light Flyweight title before successfully winning the WBC FECARBOX Flyweight title in 2014 and a year later added the Panamanian Flyweight title and then went on to win the WBC Latino Flyweight title but came up short when he fought Otto Games for the IBA World Bantamweight title last year.

Besides Khan-Rios World title fight, there are two further Championships fights this Saturday.

Nigeria’s Sule Olagbade defends his Super Welterweight WBU Super Welterweight World Crown against France’s Fouad El Massoudi and Australia based Nigerian King Davidson defends his WBU Interim Middleweight World title against Mexico’s Fernando Castaneda.

Supporting the three World Championship bouts Prince Stanley Williams has put together a seriously mouthwatering International undercard;

Ghana’s highly rated Cruiserweight Briamah Kamoko (30-1-0) is set for a ten round battle Royale with Hungary’s Ferenc Albert (27-16-0) and also boxing in the Cruiserweight division is Dubai’s Mohammad Ali Bayat Farid who goes toe-to-toe with Germany’s Rojhat Bilgetekin.

There are also two Heavyweight contests on the bill, Germany’s Rad Rashid against fellow German Hasan Kurnaz and Avni Selimi, also from Germany, against Lithuanian Tomas Vaicickas.

Stoppage Win Over Martinez Sets Khan on Course For Another Title Shot

It may have been the coldest weekend of the year in the UK so far, but the icy cold conditions Samedi night didn’t prevent the fans turning out to support local hero Tasif Khan as he faced Mexican Champion and former WBC World Title Challenger Juan Lopez Martinez on the Bridie Murtagh (Saorise Promotions) promoted Dinner Event at the Royal Taj (formerly the Connaught Rooms) in Bradford.

 

The importance of the fight clearly wasn’t lost on any of Khan’s fans, their man may already have secured World Boxing Union (UMA), Global Boxing Union (GBU) and World Boxing Confederation (WBC) World Championships over the past couple of years, mais une victoire Samedi would mean that Khan, who is already highly ranked by the International Boxing Federation (IBF) in their Intercontinental Ratings, would be eligible to mount a challenge for the prestigious IBF Intercontinental Championship in the Summer as the first step to mounting a potential future challenge for the coveted IBF World Crown.

 

Prior to the first fight of the night, Master of Ceremonies Sam Gorman gave a moving eulogy to British & Autorité irlandaise de boxe (BIBA) Vice-Président (Écosse) Kenny Barr, who tragically passed away in December at the age of just 34, which was followed by a standing Ten Bell tribute.

 

OK now let’s get onto the the main event, a ten round non-championship Super Flyweight contest between the aforementioned Tasif Khan and Juan Lopez Martinez.

 

The atmosphere was electric as the protagonists made their way to the ring with the entourages in support waving their respective countries flags and in Khan’s case also carrying his many Championship belts. After the pre-fight razzmatazz and introductions it was down to business for the young Gladiators.

 

Right from the opening bell both men began to cautiously vie for Centre-ring, Khan utilizing his superior reach to take effective control and force his more experienced opponent on to the back foot.

 

About the midway point of the round Khan began to step up the pace, landing some big shots to both body and head, each time Martinez stood his ground and countered with good effect.

 

In the second it was more or less the same, with Khan taking the initiative and actively attacking, whilst Martinez remained content to counter when the opportunity arose.

 

Round three see Khan step up the pace further, utilizing superior hand speed and slick movement to land a some sensational shots, the most notable was a huge right to the chin late on in the round. Martinez was clearly shaken, but still thinking clearly enough to change his tactics and tie the Bradford man up on the inside to prevent further big shots landing.

 

Initially Martinez took the fight to Khan in the fourth, in doing so landed a sensational hook to the head of Khan. However this tactic just played into Khan’s hands and the Bradford man came back with some sensational combinations each time the Mexican mounted an attack.

 

As the round progressed into the second minute, Khan caught Martinez with another big shot which sent the Mexican back towards the ropes, Khan stepped in and let rip with a double handed flurry culminating with a big left hook to the body, which sent Martinez to the canvas. Martinez made the count and made it to the end of the round by tying up Khan on the inside again.

 

Round five see Martinez utilizing the tying up Khan on the inside tactic more, and at times looked outclassed. Khan’s superior ring-craft really came into play as the round entered the final minute, the confident persona Martinez carried in the early rounds was now gone, Martinez was beginning to try and slow Khan’s scintillating pace down to a crawl, constantly grabbing hold each time Khan mounted an attack, before letting rip with uppercuts at every opportunity, much to the dismay of Khan’s corner, who were shouting at their man to work off his jab and keep him at a distance.

 

Round six see Khan confidently begin to wear Martinez down further with fast double handed flurries and powerful combinations to both body and head. At more or less the half way point of the round Khan broke loose from another attempted holding session from Martinez and fired a couple of stiff jabs, before stepping in with a huge hook to the body. Martinez immediately collapsed to the canvas and was clearly distraught, however the tough Mexican tried his hardest to make it to his feet before referee James Ancliff’s count reached its conclusion, albeit unsuccessful in doing so.

 

The official time for the stoppage 1 minute et 32 seconds of the sixth round.

 

Preceding the Khan-Martinez headline bout was a six round Super Middleweight contest between Bardley, Lincolnshire’s unbeaten Nathan Decastro and very late replacement Malcolm Richardson from Blackpool.

 

Originally IBF Ranked Decastro was due to compete against Ghanaian Philip Kotey, who had arrived in the UK but fell ill vendredi nuit. More disappointment for Decastro as a win over Kotey would have also positioned him for a potential shot at an IBF title later in the year.

 

Right from the off it was clear that Decastro was intent on making a statement, the Bardley man closing of the ring and letting rip with power punch after power punch. Richardson’s made of stern stuff and stood his ground and countered with good effect. However as the round progressed towards the second minute, Decastro switched to the body, landing a massive body shot that sent Richardson down.

 

Richardson made the count, in fact following the knockdown went on the front foot and landed a couple of good shots of his own, but Decastro’s relentless power shots got the better of the Blackpool man and with about 40 seconds of the round to go Decastro caught him with a huge body shot to send him to the canvas for the second time, this time though Richardson didn’t make it to his feet before referee James Ancliff’s count reached it’s conclusion.

 

Official time of the stoppage was 2 Minutes and 30 secondes du premier tour.

 

Prior to Decastro-Richardson it was time for a Heavyweight contest between Askam-in-Furness, Cumbria’s Lee Kellett and Belfast, Northern Ireland’s Ryan Kilpatrick.

 

What a cracking fight, both lads gave there all for the full four rounds, à la grande satisfaction des personnes présentes.

 

After four highly entertaining all action rounds it was Lee Kellett that scoring referee James Ancliff decided was the victor by a 40-36 points de marge.

 

Next up was a four round Super Lightweight contest between Newcastle’s Jak Johnson and Liverpool’s Paul Peers.

 

Quelle bagarre, it was a true Battle Royale, these two warriors gave no quarter, and it was a seriously top class battle. The first couple of rounds were exhausting to watch, pure toe-2-toe action from start to finish, so much so that this contest rightly earned the accolade of the Fight of the Night.

 

The third though see Peers in the ascendancy, the Liverpool man steeping up the pace as well as switching his focus to the body of the Geordie with great effect, so much so that around the midway point Peers sent Johnson to the canvas with a pin-point perfect shot to the lower rib.

 

Johnson made it to his feet but in the dying seconds of the round Peers found a way through Johnson’s excellent defence to land another shot to the lower rib to send Johnson down for a second time, this time Johnson couldn’t make it to his feet to beat referee James Ancliff’s count.

 

Official time of the stoppage was 2 minutes and 59 seconds of the third round.

 

The opening bout of the night sees Aberdeen’s Nathan Beattie in action against late replacement Belfast’s Marty Kayes.

 

Beattie-Kayes was a purist’s dream fight, it was one seriously closely fought and highly technical contest, which wouldn’t come as any surprise to those in the know, as these two had fought each other previously.

 

After four closely fought rounds scoring referee James Ancliff’s score card read 40-37 in favour of Nathan Beattie.

 

There were due to be two further contests on the card – Obadai Sai vs Isaac Quartey and Patrick Okine vs Saidi Mundi, however these contests failed to take place due to only Quartey and Okine receiving their visa in time to make the trip to the UK.

Khan and Newell in Sensational Knockout Form Reign Supreme in Bradford

The boxing scene in the North of England is really booming, especially around the cities of Leeds and Bradford. One of the main reasons for the increase of professional boxing events in the area is due to Bradford’s very own reigning World Boxing Union (UMA), Global Boxing Union (GBU) and World Boxing Confederation (WBC) World Champion Tasif Khan, who for the past couple of years has been working closely with Leeds based promoter Bridie Murtagh to bring stylish Boxing Dinner Shows to the area.

The latest of these took place at the Royal Taj, formerly the Connaught Rooms, in Bradford, which not only featured the aforementioned Tasif Khan himself in action, against Tanzania’s Julias Kisarawe, but also heralded the return of unbeaten Lightweight prospect Justin Newell from Leeds, who faced Latvian Aleksandrs Birkenbergs

Besides the local lads on the card, exciting Super Welterweight prospect Chris Wood from Middlesbrough was in action against Belfast’s Marty Kayes, however two top class International bouts scheduled for the event, a ten round Middleweight contest between Ishmael Tetteh and Philip Kotey, as well as an eight round Welterweight contest between Frank Dodzi and Justice Addy, failed to materialise due to visas for three of the boxers failing to arrive in time.

Whilst disappointing that these two fights didn’t go ahead, there was more than enough action to keep the fans happy, as promoter Bridie Murtagh arranged for two exhibition bouts featuring local lads to replace the Internationals ahead of the pro element.

First up was Chris Wood against Marty Kayes in a four rounder.

What a cracking start to the pro section, it was all action right from the opening bell, Wood was clearly fired up and went on the attack, closing down his far more experienced opponent before letting rip with a vast array of combinations at every conceivable opportunity. Kayes though is as savvy as they come, would cover up and seemed more than content to let the fired up youngster get his shots off before countering.

After four scintillating rounds the referee’s scorecard unsurprisingly read as a 40-36 points victory for the Teesider Chris Wood.

Next up was unbeaten Justin Newell in a six rounder against the very tough Latvian Aleksandrs Birkenbergs.

Newell was on fire, slick movement and very fast hands – Birkenbergs was no walk over and landed a cracking right hand about midway through the round, which lit the blue touch-paper for Newell, who went hard on the attack throwing some tasty big shots to body and head, which ultimately led to Birkenbergs taking a visit to the canvas. This kid’s tough, he was straight up and going toe to toe with Newell until the end of the round.

Round two was fantastic to watch, both lads giving no quarter – beautiful boxing from both, but Newell’s class proved just too much for the plucky Latvian as the Leeds lad piled some serious pressure in the second half of the fight before letting rip with big double handed salvos that sent Birkenbergs to the deck in the dying seconds of the round, no matter how hard he tried Birkenbergs just couldn’t make the count – great win on his return to the fray for Newell who won by TKO, the time would you believe 2 minutes and 59 secondes de la deuxième ronde.

The headline fight see WBU, GBU and WBC World Champion take on Tanzania’s Julias Kisarawe in a ten round non-championship contest, instead of the scheduled twelve round World Boxing Confederation (WBC) Super Flyweight title defence for Khan, due to lateness of the visa arriving for Kisarawe to complete the necessary Championship paperwork for the contest to be sanctioned by the WBC.

First round started fast and see Kisarawe taking the fight to Khan, however the Bradford lad stood his ground and picked his shots for maximum effect
More of the same in round two, except this time it was Khan that took the fight to Kisarawe.

Round three see Khan really start to get in a flow, regularly backing his opponent up before letting rip with wickedly fast double handed salvos, the power and speed in Khan’s shots finally had the desired effect and the super tough Tanzanian took a very brief trip to the canvas.

On the restart Kisarawe went hard on the attack, throwing seriously solid lefts in an attempt to do unto Khan what the Bradford lad did to him moments before (avec 14 KO wins on his record Kisarawe is very capable of doing just that)
Round four was an outright war and fascinating to watch, as was round five and six but for very different reasons. Khan stepped not just one gear but at least two or three and corralled the Tanzanian into a corner and just plain bombarded him with double handed Exocets throughout

More of the same in round seven but this time Khan managed to penetrate Kisarawe’s world class defence and sent him to the canvas for the second time.
Kisarawe managed to make the count but it was clear for all to see that he was in some distress, so much so that referee James Ancliff had no option but to stop the contest on the one minute twelve second mark.

What followed then was a good thirty minute celebration in the ring by Tasif Khan, his team AND many of the fans!!!!

Have to say the Khan/Murtagh co-promoted shows I’ve attended have always been top class, however this event, even though a couple of fights short, was by far the best one yet, the fights were all beautifully matched all action affairs, what more could any fan of the pugilistic arts wish for. Can’t wait for the next, which I hear is going to be in December.

Khan Stops Quaye To Secure WBU Crown

Samedi nuit, Great Britain’s Tasif Khan secured both the World Boxing Union (UMA) and Global Boxing Union (GBU) World Super Flyweight Championships at the Cedar Court Hotel in his hometown of Bradford in the United Kingdom.

 

Khan, who only returned to the sport, following a two year sabbatical, just over twelve months ago, put in the performance of his career, in front of a pack house that included a number of British star boxers, such as interim WBA World Lightweight Champion Derry Mathews and former British, Commonwealth, European and WBC World Champion Junior Witter as well as various local dignitaries such as the Mayor of Bradford and local MP Imran Hussain.

 

Khan also received support from the British Army, who turned out in force to watch their man being lead to the ring by the band of the Yorkshire Regiment.

 

After a slow first round, during which both combatants barely threw a shot in anger, Khan proceeded to utterly dominated Accra, Ghana’s Isaac Quaye from the second stanza right through to the sensational sixth round, during which Khan really stepped up the pace and sent the Ghanaian to the canvas three times in very short succession, the last of which was a perfect right to the chin that sent Quaye crashing backwards and prostrate on the canvas in such a spectacular manner that the Ghanaian’s corner-man immediately jumped into the ring before referee Lee Murtagh had barely started the count. NB. Quaye was perfectly fine albeit a little dazed after rising.

 

Following the bout a clearly elated Khan spoke briefly.

 

“This is the greatest day of my life, it’s a dream come true and to be crowned World Champion in front of my home crowd really is the cherry on top.

 

I have to say a big thank you to Isaac (Quaye), he’s a great fighter and it couldn’t have been easy for him to walk into the Lion’s Den with such a partisan crowd shouting out their support for me.

 

Also have to say a big thank you to Stephen (Vaughan) and his team for putting on such a great show for the fans and for believing in me, the same to Rio (WBU Europe President & MBC Vice President Gianluca Di Caro) for giving me the chance to box again and more importantly to fight for the WBU title, I’ve always wanted a WBU belt around my waist ever since watching Ricky Hatton win it when I was just a teen.

 

Huge thanks as well to GBU President Juergen Lutz for allowing me to fight for his title also.

Promoteur Londres Mark Lyons a uni ses forces avec le Championnat campagne Marianne Marston de co-promouvoir un énorme événement avant Noël, bien nommé LET combat commence, à l'Hôtel de York à Bethnal Green, Londres, le dimanche, la 6e de Décembre.

 

A la tête de la carte de quinze combat ne sont pas moins de trois batailles Championnat du Monde;

 

Tasif Khan de Bradford fait sa première incursion sur la scène mondiale, quand il défie Isaac Quaye du Ghana pour le championnat super mouches Union World Boxing.

 

Champion International Union Le champion du monde de boxe des super-moyens, Jeezy, George 'Hithard' Essex Hillyard vise à ajouter le titre vacant UMA couronne mondiale à sa collection, quand il fait face à un adversaire encore à être nommé.

 

Enfin Colombie #1 et champion du MBC International Super coq Marianne Marston ira jusqu'au bout des pieds avec Csilla Némedi de la Hongrie dans quatre, UMA, WBF, WIBA & WIBC, Coq titre mondial combat d'unification.

 

Aussi sur la piste Championnat sur cet événement historique sera un certain nombre d'augmentation rapide des jeunes étoiles.

 

Ancien Team GB étoiles Iain «Le Bienheureux» Weaver obtient son premier goût de la boxe professionnelle Championnat, quand il défie un adversaire encore à être nommé pour le titre international de maîtrise des super-plumes.

 

Bardney, Invaincu perspective de Lincolnshire, Nathan «cauchemar» Decastro sera également se battre pour un championnat international Maîtres, mais à Middleweight.

 

Le combat final du Championnat verra régnant MBC Welterweight Champion International, Siar Ozgul de Hackney, se battre pour une autre Crown International, cette fois à des super welters.

 

Soutenir les six combats de championnats sont neuf épisodes mettant en vedette la crème des talents locaux, y compris une autre champion en titre, WBF super coqs Intercontinental supremo Paul Economides dans un hors-championnat de six rondes.

Retour en Août Marianne Marston, Shaunagh Brown et Sam Smith fait l'histoire quand ils ont tous combattu sur le même événement au York Hall, comme ce fut la première fois que trois combats féminins ont eu lieu sur un événement pro au Royaume-Uni, bien sur le 6e Décembre que le dossier va se cassé, que de rejoindre Marianne sur la carte sera ancienne star de Big Brother et multi challenger titre Angel 'The Entertainer' McKenzie, Champion poids mouche British Masters super et le Championnat mondial challenger Juliette hiver et de faire son retour les bienvenus pour le sport Jamie Johnson.

 

En plus de la Fayre de boxe de classe supérieure, l'événement mettra également en vedette la première performance live star de la chanson locale Stephan Dante, qui sera en spectacle son Smash virale "Nails at ', ainsi que d'autres pistes de son bientôt être libérés premier album.

Khan-Quaye Title Fight Aide Pour Roy Jones Jr-Tony Moran Septembre 12e à Liverpool

 

Tasif Khan de Bradford est un peu plus d'une semaine loin de le plus grand combat de sa carrière à ce jour, quand il fait face à deux fois le titre du Commonwealth challenger, Isaac Quaye du Ghana, pour la World Boxing Fédération (WBF) Championnat International super mouches, sur le Stephen Vaughan promu événement LEGEND, au Centre équestre de Aintree samedi 12eSeptembre, qui est en vedette par la première jamais UK combat de Roy Jones Jr, contre Tony Moran.

 

Khan, qui ne revient à la mêlée, après une année sabbatique vingt-cinq mois à partir de ce sport, en Janvier de cette année, plus que compensé pour son temps sur le ring avec trois victoires de classe supérieure.

 

Dans le premier de ces épisodes Khan disposé de Richard Voros en un peu plus d'une minute de la première ronde, puis il enchaîne avec une victoire en temps presque identique sur Ladislav Miko Mars, ce qui lui alignés pour une chance au titre Master International en mai, contre Mikheil Soloninkini, Khan, qui a obtenu une excellente unanime des points de victoire.

 

Pour décrire l'excitation de Khan à obtenir cette opportunité de se battre pour le titre WBF si tôt après son retour est un euphémisme, mais par rapport à ses sentiments au sujet de battre pour le titre sur l'undercard de Roy Jones Jr contre Tony Moran fait que pâle en comparaison, comme il a fait clair quand il a parlé de l'événement à venir.

 

«Quand je dis que je suis va se battre sur la facture Roy Jones, il était absolument incroyable, ouais incroyable de combats sur le même spectacle que Roy Jones.

 

Je grandi en le regardant lutte, à mes yeux, il est l'un des plus grands combattants jamais, pas à cause de l'accolade de titres qu'il a gagné, le nombre de ceintures qu'il a gagné, de la hausse Middleweight, mais il est rare de dire à tous ceux que ces jours un poids moyen va aller tout le chemin jusqu'à mi-lourds et de gagner un titre mondial et dans ces jours le meilleur combattu le meilleur, Roy Jones pour moi est l'un des meilleurs combattants de tous les temps et d'être sur la même facture que lui est tout le crédit à la MBC (Malte Commission de la boxe), Stephen Vaughan et Francis Warren et je ne peux pas les remercier et tout le monde impliqué dans cet événement massif assez et, évidemment, de me battre sur l'événement ".

Je ne peux pas croire que ce, ça fait un court voyage, mais un voyage doux, le seul moment difficile, je ai eu le temps était loin de l'anneau, Je devais un écart d'environ trois ans, mais évidemment la MBC, tous ceux qui participent à la MBC et l'équipe autour de moi ont tiré ensemble et m'a donné ces possibilités.

 

Mon dernier combat m'a donné l'opportunité d'obtenir ma première ceinture (International Masters) de ma carrière, donc partir et vers le haut.

 

Je ne regarde pas passé tout adversaire et toujours entraîne en conséquence, nous savons Isaac Quaye est un adversaire coriace et en termes de classement mondial, il est beaucoup plus haut que moi, il est donc une victoire, win situation pour moi parce que je vais préparer, comme chaque combat, comme si je suis l'outsider, nul doute qu'il va venir en tant que favori et de regarder vers moi et la foule bouleverser.

 

Je dois le plein respect pour lui en dehors du ring, mais à l'intérieur de l'anneau Je dois aucune pitié pour quiconque, Je veux aller dans leur et causer des dommages que je veux gagner, alors allons-y sur ".

Khan règne en maître – Renverse Soloninkini, Maintenant, envisage d'autres défis pour le titre

Le sensationnel espoir des poids coq de Bradford, Tasif Khan, a obtenu sa première distinction de championnat, le titre international de maîtrise coq, quand il a battu le Géorgien Mikheil Soloninkini par décision unanime des points à l'emblématique York Hall de Londres samedi soir dernier.

 

Ce qui rend cette réalisation encore plus spéciale, c'est que Khan n'est revenu sur le ring qu'en janvier de cette année., après un congé sabbatique de deux ans de sport.

 

À son retour en janvier, Khan a remporté une victoire décisive au premier tour., sur le hongrois très expérimenté Richard Voros, dans un combat qui a également eu lieu au York Hall.

 

Khan a suivi cette victoire avec une victoire d'arrêt au premier tour tout aussi impressionnante, contre Ladislav Miko de la République tchèque, six semaines plus tard à Liverpool.

 

Samedi dernier, alors qu'il semble que tout le monde se préparait pour le super combat Mayweather-Pacquiao, Khan participait au plus grand combat de sa carrière à ce jour.

 

Dès le départ, Khan a magnifiquement boxé derrière son jab solide pour garder son ennemi légèrement plus expérimenté sur le pied arrière.

 

À mi-parcours, Khan a commencé à ralentir le rythme, tout en continuant à maintenir la pleine pression sur Soloninkini.

 

À mi-chemin du sixième tour, au cours d'un échange plutôt mouvementé, Khan a été un peu lent à remonter ses gants, qui a ouvert la porte à Soloninkini, qui se laisse déchirer avec un gros droit d'envoyer Khan sur la toile.

Après dix rounds de boxe de première classe de Khan, juges Ken Curtis 99-94, Obie Garnett 98-90 et Matt Hamilton 98-91, tous ont marqué en faveur du nouveau Champion International Masters Tasif Khan.

 

S'exprimant depuis son domicile plus tôt, Khan a parlé du combat et a fait allusion à de nouvelles incursions dans le championnat dans un avenir proche..

 

"Ouais, j'ai gagné mon premier titre.

 

C'est mon rêve depuis que je suis gosse, gagner un titre, j'espère que ce sera le premier d'une longue série, partir et vers le haut.

 

Dire que je ne veux pas enlever l'importance d'être le champion international des maîtres, c'était comme gagner un titre mondial pour moi ce soir-là.

 

J'ai eu deux ans et demi difficiles, je suis passé par là, j'ai repris le combat cette année et j'ai maintenant une ceinture, ouais je suis vraiment fier de ce que j'ai accompli.

 

J'étais absolument bien en entrant dans le combat, la formation s'est bien passée, Je suis parti avec Nadeem Siddique un de mes coachs, il est lui-même un professionnel. J'ai eu un bon camp d'entraînement à l'étranger, allé en Grèce,

 

Entré dans le combat brillant, fonctionnement de mon jab, en utilisant davantage mon jab car je sentais que j'avais une bonne chance, Je trouvais ça assez confortable pour être honnête, Je le trouvais assez facilement avec le jab.

 

C'était un enfant dur, a pris quelques bons coups au corps, J'ai découvert que je pouvais le faire descendre, alors je pense que c'était soit le troisième ou le quatrième tour j'ai trop étiré mon bras droit, J'ai senti à l'époque que j'avais dû m'abîmer l'épaule, J'ai essayé de ne pas le montrer, mais au fur et à mesure des rondes, j'ai eu du mal à lancer de gros coups.

 

ça ne faisait pas mal, cela m'a limité sur mes tirs au fur et à mesure que le combat continuait, mais je pense que je suis devenu un peu complaisant et lui ai donné l'opportunité de me rattraper avec un bon coup, ça ne m'a pas du tout fait mal, mais j'ai dû voir ça jusqu'au bout, parce que j'avais gagné chaque manche sauf cette manche, J'ai boxé intelligemment et je suis resté à distance quand je le pouvais et d'autres fois je l'ai laissé se frapper.

 

Pour être honnête, je pense que j'aurais pu l'arrêter, avec toute la pression et qui a décidé de me frayer un chemin à travers.

 

Je suis vraiment reconnaissant de mes fans comme toujours, ils descendent à Londres en nombre, si tout se passe bien mais mon prochain combat sera beaucoup plus près de chez moi, peut-être même Bradford, mais je suis toujours reconnaissant envers mes fans, même ceux qui ne peuvent pas voyager pour me regarder combattre à Londres ou Liverpool.

 

Depuis le premier jour, j'ai eu un bon soutien, une grande base de fans, mais se battre tout le temps rend difficile pour tout le monde d'être à chaque combat, donc j'aimerais vraiment faire quelque chose de grand à Bradford, ou au moins plus local et croisons les doigts, nous aurons un gros titre sur cette émission.

 

Je tiens à remercier toute mon équipe, Martin Stainsby, abeille, Junior Witter, Rivière (Gianluca Di Caro), Johnny Eames et tous ceux qui travaillent dans l'ombre, Je ne peux pas oublier de mentionner ma Missus, elle fait tout le travail acharné et me supporte quand je suis au régime et ma famille, qui ont tous été si favorables.

 

Avant d'oublier, je veux faire un commentaire, Je boxe depuis l'âge de dix ans, J'ai décidé au fil des années que je voulais vraiment faire quelque chose en boxe, Je n'avais pas l'intention d'inventer les chiffres, je n'avais pas le choix, Je veux bien faire et gagner des titres, Je veux mettre Bradford sur la carte, gagner le titre International Masters m'a mis dans la bonne direction, en tant que tel, je veux dédier la victoire à mon frère aîné Tahir Khan, parce que si ce n'était pas pour lui me dirigeant dans la bonne direction, il me garderait en forme et m'emmènerait à la gym, il est la première personne à me soutenir totalement en boxe, toujours été là pour moi et c'est lui qui a rendu tout cela possible.

 

Comme je dis si ce n'était pas pour Tahir, Je ne serais pas en boxe et je n'aurais pas cette ceinture International Masters, merci pour tout Tahir, apprécie vraiment tout ce que tu as fait pour moi.

Khan-Soloninkini bataille pour la suprématie du titre à Londres ce samedi

L'excitant espoir des poids coq de Bradford, TASIF KHAN, est prêt à se battre pour son premier titre ce samedi, quand il affronte le géorgien #1 classé MIKHEIL SOLONINKINI, pour le championnat international Masters Silver des poids coq vacant, sur l'événement Mark Lyons et Billy James-Elliott promu LORDS OF THE RING à l'emblématique York Hall, à Bethnal Green, Londres le 2 mai.

 

Khan a remporté le titre avec une paire de victoires sensationnelles au premier tour plus tôt cette année, suite à son retour d'un congé sabbatique de deux ans du sport.

 

En janvier de cette année, Khan a envoyé le hongrois #2 classé Richard Voros en seulement une minute et cinq secondes du premier tour au York Hall, puis deux mois plus tard suivi d'une victoire d'arrêt presque identique, cette fois en une minute et quinze secondes du premier tour, sur Ladislav Miko de la République tchèque au Grand Central Hall de Liverpool.

 

A l'origine, Khan devait affronter Patrik Bartos, Cependant, le garçon tchèque a été TKO par Andrew Cain, sur l'undercard du combat pour le titre WBA de Derry Mathews, à l'Echo Arena, il y a quelques semaines.

 

Remplacement de Bartos, Mikheil Soloninkini, a été une figure assez régulière sur la scène britannique, avoir combattu ici quatre fois au cours de la dernière année, dont un défi infructueux pour le titre International Masters Bronze, qu'il a perdu aux points contre Jamie Williams en mars.

J'aurais préféré si on avait su plus tôt qui allait remplacer Patrik, mais trois adversaires potentiels se sont retirés la semaine dernière, puis un quatrième qui avait été proposé a été repoussé par la MBC comme non approprié.

 

Heureusement, ce nouveau garçon a accepté les conditions mardi et maintenant le combat est prêt et prêt à partir, Je ne peux pas attendre.

 

Je ne m'attends pas à ce que ce soit une finition rapide comme les deux derniers combats, ils étaient quatre et six rondeurs, cette fois, je vais devoir me calmer au cas où je devrais faire les dix tours complets, mais si l'occasion se présente, je vais le sortir tôt.

Khan Marches On - TKO Win Plus de Miko mène à Plan Titre 2 mai à Londres

Vendredi de soir Bradford Tasif Khan a marqué un autre sensationnelle victoire ronde premier arrêt, cette fois sur Ladislav Miko de République tchèque, sur le Stephen Vaughan événement promu Red Mist au Grand Central Hall à Liverpool.

 

De la cloche d'ouverture, il était Miko qui a été le plus agressif, prenant la lutte pour Khan, Toutefois, ce faisant, le combattant tchèque joué directement dans les mains de l'homme Bradford.

 

Khan avait prévu Miko pour démarrer rapidement et comme tel lorsque le combattant tchèque avançait rapidement, Khan simplement dansé sur le côté et se déchaîner avec un coup au corps.

 

Le langage du corps de Miko a clairement indiqué qu'il avait été blessé, donc pas de surprise que quand il est venu en dur et rapide à nouveau que le Khan savvy utilisé une tactique similaire, cette fois glisser vers la droite et de laisser rip avec un autre coup de corps, suivi par une double salve main scintillatingly rapide à la fois corps et la tête.

Miko a réussi à faire le compte, mais plus tard seconde marchaient directement dans un autre grand gauche au corps. Cette fois Miko vraiment eu du mal à faire le compte, tout juste à le faire, mais a été très solide sur ses pieds, laissant arbitre Jimmy Byrne aucune option mais pour agiter le combat hors d'une minute et quinze secondes marque du premier tour.

 

Immédiatement après avoir reçu les lauriers du vainqueur Khan a été informé par son équipe qu'il obtiendrait de se battre pour sa première récompense Championnat, le titre international de maîtrise coq, sur sa prochaine sortie prévue, qui sera sur le Billy James-Elliott et Mark Lyons promus SEIGNEUR DES ANNEAUX événement au York Hall à Londres en mai 2Dakota du Nord.

 

Après réception de cette nouvelles Khan a parlé brièvement de la lutte ainsi que son prochain combat pour le titre.

 

"Ouais brillante, ce était tout simplement génial.

 

Je ne peux pas se plaindre qu'il n'a pas duré un tour, Je aurais préféré qu'il était allé un peu plus longtemps, Je veux dire que ce était une ronde de six ans et je aurait vraiment aimé avoir quelques tours sous ma ceinture, mais comme je l'ai dit avant que vous ne soyez pas des heures supplémentaires rémunérées dans ce jeu.

 

Nous savions qu'il allait commencer rapide et précipitons et le plan était de travailler sur mon jab pour le ralentir, essentiellement pour essayer d'obtenir les six tours sous ma ceinture.

 

Il n'a pas tout à fait passé comme ça, comme il est vraiment venu me beaucoup plus rapide que prévu, à la place je ai adapté et ai attrapé avec un bon coup, Je vois ses jambes boucle un peu, mais il est resté sur ses pieds.

 

Il est un combattant de jeu, la plupart des gens auraient reculé pour se donner le temps de récupérer, pas lui, il est venu vers moi dur à nouveau, qui m'a donné l'occasion de le boxer un peu plus et l'attraper comme il revenait dans.

 

Je ai attrapé le bon avec l'uppercut, puis le coup de corps, dont il descendit avec.

 

Puis je ai fait plus ou moins la même après le redémarrage, Bien que ne pense pas que je l'avais pris aussi bien que la première fois, mais quand il se est levé, je ne pense pas qu'il voulait savoir plus, même si l'arbitre avait le laisser exploiter.

 

Espérons partir et vers le haut maintenant, Je ai parlé avec mon équipe et on m'a dit que nous avons un combat de championnat organisé en mai 2Dakota du Nord au York Hall, même nuit que Mayweather-Pacquaio lutte, alors je espère que je vais chercher mon premier titre, les International Masters, et le ramener à Bradford.

 

Comme vous pouvez voir mes fans venus en vigueur et de faire beaucoup de bruit, ils sont tous ring, ils aiment leur boxe, ce est une Bradford ville de boxe, ils ont juste besoin d'obtenir plus de spectacles il.

 

Mes fans sont grands, ils voyagent pour me surveiller, dernière fois, ce était à Londres, cette fois Liverpool et, évidemment, il est de retour à Londres à nouveau en mai 2Dakota du Nord.

 

Pour le moment je ne ai pas la possibilité de choisir où je me bats, je espère que si je gagne le titre peut-être nous pouvons obtenir un promoteur pour monter un spectacle à Bradford donc encore plus de mes fans auront la chance de me regarder à nouveau.

 

Je suis reconnaissant pour mon équipe, la formation se est très bien, Je me sens fort, Je me sens bien et les fans à venir en force pour me soutenir ajoute à celle.
