GH3 Promotions fighters shine in Philly!

Nutley, NJ (Aprilie 6, 2018)-Two of GH3 Promotions top fighters remained undefeated last Friday night at The Fillmore in Philadelphia.

 

 

 

Super Mijlocie Ronald Ellis won a six-round unanimous decision over Taneal Goyco, în timp ce Joey Alday, Jr. kept his perfect knockout record intact by stopping Michael Crain in the 3rd round of their junior middleweight bout.

 

 

 

Ellis battered the upset-specialist Goyco for much of the fight, and almost had the tough Philadelphian stopped several times during the fight. Ellis of Lynn, Massachusetts cruised home by with the victory by scores of 60-53 de două ori și 59-54 să ridice mărcii sale la 15-0-2.

He is a couple fights away from something big in the super middleweight division. As for Joey, he performed terrific. He is a big junior middleweight who displayed both boxing skills and power. We will bring him along nicely, and have him back in May.”

Rock, Ellis, Williams and Alday remain undefeated
 

 

Philadelphia, PA (Aprilie 2, 2018) – This Past Friday night, Malik Hawkins remained undefeated by winning a 10-round unanimous decision over Raymond Serrano to capture the NABA-USA Welterweight title that headlined an action-packed 8 bout card at The Fillmore in Philadelphia.

 

 

 

The sold-out show was promoted by Hard Hitting promotions.

 

 

 

Hawkins used his length to pick and land shots on the inside. Hawkins raced to the early lead, but the veteran Serrano got going in the middle rounds as he used his experience to get himself back into the fight by winning scrums on the inside and an occasional long right hand. Down the stretch, Hawkins dug down deep and took control of the fight as seemed to be the fresher fighter. Hawkins who had never been past seven rounds, paced himself well against a tough Serrano, who never showed any signs of retreating as the two stood and fought until the final bell.

 

 

 

Hawkins of Baltimore, MD won by scores of 98-92, 97-93 și 96-94 to raise his perfect mark to 13-0. Serrano of Philadelphia was urged on by his loyal fan base, but fell just short, and now drops to 24-5.

 

 

 

Heavyweight prospect Darmani Rock landed a hard right to the body that dropped Ronny Hale down and out at 1:27 of round two of their scheduled six-round bout.

Ellis continued to have Goyco in trouble throughout their affair, and dropped Goyco with a right hand in round three. Goyco hung tough, but took many power shots, and Ellis looked impressive in winning by shutout scores of 60-53 pe toate cardurile.

Nutley, NJ (Martie 28, 2018)–Undefeated super middleweight contender Ronald Ellis returns to action for the 1st time since his controversial draw with Junior Younan when he takes on upset specialist Taneal Goyco acest vineri noapte la The Fillmore în Philadelphia.

TANEAL GOYCO TO WIN “UPSET OF THE YEAR” AT BRISCOE AWARDS

PHILADELPHIA – Philly super middleweight Taneal Goyco, returns to the Briscoe Awards for his second-ever trophy for the “Upset of the Year”. Goyco won the same award two years ago and repeats for 2016, with his shocker over rising Maryland prospect Jerry Odom.

Middleweight Antoine Douglas (22-1-1, 16 Lui KO) has won three in a row since his lone defeat, and that has catapulted him to world rankings of number-8 by the WBC, Number-9 by the WBA and Number-8 by the WBO. Douglas will be back in action onNovember 11th in Atlanta.
Undefeated Super Middleweight Ronald Ellis (14-0-1, 10 KO) will meet Taneal Goyco on November 4th în Springfield, Virginia.

Valcarcel has a record of 14-8-4 cu cinci knockout. The 34 year-old native of Miami, Florida has wins over Jovanny Soto (15-2-1), Rodolfo Garay (14-2-1) & Leivi Brea (16-4-3).
The 12 year veteran also has fought former world champion Eric Morel and future world champion Jessie Magdaleno.
Valcarcel is coming off a 6th round stoppage defeat to undefeated Erick DeLeon on June 25th în Dallas, Texas.
“I know he is a 2004 Olimpic. He is a veteran and a crafty fighter. He has a surviving style in the sense he is defensive and crafty. He is not a knockout puncher but you have to respect anyone who puts on those gloves,” said Lopez of his opponent.
Lopez is ready to show his skills in front of the knowledgeable Philadelphia fight crowd.
