GUADALAJARA, MX (Červenec 26, 2016) – Letos Sobota, newly crowned undefeated IBO super-bantamweight world champion, Moises “Chucky” Květiny (25-0, 17 KO), received his belt from co-manager Henry Rivalta of Pro Box Management. Last June, Flores scored an impressive unanimous decision victory over Paulus Ambunda (24-2, 10 KO), in his home town of Windhoek, Namibie (Afrika), to earn the world title strap.
Květiny, who is also the WBA interim champion, is now the mandatory challenger to face WBA super-champion Guillermo Rigondeaux (17-0, 11 KO). Both camps are in negotiations with the possibility of the fight happening in the next few months. If the fight comes to fruition, both the WBA and IBO world title belts will be on the line. After receiving his IBO world title belt, and a big fight looming with Rigondeaux, Flores speaks on his current situation.
“Winning the IBO world championship is a testament to my hard work and the great team around me,” said Mexico’s Moises “Chucky” Květiny. “Together we worked really hard to get this world title. VLADIMIR TIKHONOV MAKING PROGRESS UP THE RATINGS LADDER; RUSSIAN IS LUCKY NO. 13 IN WBA

Brooklyn, NY (Červen 15, 2016)– ruština Vladimir Tikhonov, a super bantamweight contender, is the latest signee to the Dmitriy Salita promotional slate. And it looks like the timing is right for the Brooklyner Salita, with word out that this Russian hitter is making his way up the ratings ladder.
Tikhonov (14-0 s 8 KO) has entered the WBA world rankings at No. 13.

Del Valle to meet Crespo April 9!

“I’ve got big plans but that all goes out the window if I don’t do what I have to against Crespo,” Del Valle said from his training camp in Puerto Rico. “Anybody who really knows boxing understands that a record doesn’t determine how good a fighter is. I’ve seen Crespo before. He’s tough and willing to take on anybody which is evident by the fact that he’s facing me rather than a lesser opponent. I’m training like I’m the underdog since this fight is close to his hometown and I’ve got a lot on the line.”

KO Artist Jonathan Guzman to Face Daniel ‘Bad Boy’ Rosas for IBF #2 Position at Super Bantamweight on April 29

Promoter Sampson Lewkowicz of Sampson Boxing proudly announces the IBF has agreed to sanction a super bantamweight voluntary elimination fight between their #7 contender Jonathan Guzman and #14, Daniel Rosas for the #2 position in their ratings.
Under the IBF rules criteria, two of the top five available contenders can compete in a voluntary elimination fight for the second-highest spot in the ratings. Guzman (20-0, 20 KO) from Santo Domingo, Dominikánská republika, and Rosas (20-2-1, 12 KO) from Mexico City, are Sampson Boxing promotional stablemates. The bout is scheduled for Sobota, Duben 29, 2016, v Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Team Ruiz Sets Sights on Carl Frampton
Promoter Sampson Lewkowicz of Sampson Boxing wishes to congratulate the fighter he co-promotes (along with Oswaldo Kuchle of Promociones Del Pueblo), Hugo “Cuatito” Ruiz, for his title winning victory v sobotu noc.
Fighting on the Showtime-televised co-main event last Saturday (Únor 27) v Honda Center v Anaheimu, Kalifornie, Ruiz (36-3, 32 KO) gained revenge against Julio Cesar Ceja and took back his WBC World Super Bantamweight Championship via TKO 1 (:51 sekundy).
“Hugo was the fighter I knew he was tonight,” said a happy Lewkowicz. “In the first fight, he gave this guy too much respect. This time he came out looking to destroy him and he did.”
Ruiz and Ceja met for the first time last August. A big left hook in the third round had Ceja nearly out, but Ceja landed his own hook in the fifth and ended up with a TKO victory, sekund později.
In the rematch v sobotu, Ruiz dropped Ceja with one of his first few punches, sending him down hard and injuring his ankle. Ceja rose but the follow-up barrage ended matters for good.
Lewkowicz says the future is now bright for his 29-year-old fighter from Los Mochis, Mexiko.
“Ceja is crying for a third fight, but we are not looking at that,” řekl Lewkowicz. “Except for one lucky punch in the first fight, Hugo has dominated him every round. We are more interested in one of the other super bantamweight champions in this exciting division.”
Lewkowicz says there’s a unification fight he wants above all the rest for Ruiz. “I enjoy a good working relationship with the team behind now-unified champion Carl Frampton. We would be willing to travel to Europe to make that sensational fight happen.”

Salita Promotions Signs Russian Super Bantamweight Vladimir Tikhonov

Promoter Dmitriy Salita of Salita Promotions proudly announces the signing of undefeated super bantamweight prospect Vladimir Tikhonov to a promotional contract.
Pro jelikož 2008, the 25-year-old southpaw, from Saint Petersburg, Rusko, sports an undefeated record of 13-0, 7 KO. As an amateur boxer who finished with a record of 85-15, Tikhonov was a gold medallist at the 2008 All-Russia Class A Tournament 2008 in Togliatti and a silver medallist in 2007 and was recognized as the best boxer of the tournament. He has also been given the designation as a Sport Master of Russia.
Tikhonov has had only 13 boje in eight years and ventured out of his native country only once as a professional. Promoter Salita says that’s about to change.
“Vladimir is an extremely talented fighter with excellent potential to become a world champion,” Said Word. “We are going to get him active and bring him to the United States where he can become known as a top contender in his division. I am very happy to have formed this agreement with one of Russia’s best up-and-coming fighters.”

Salita says Tikhonov’s first fight under his promotional banner will be announced shortly, but the focus will be on securing him a shot against one of the division’s best including WBA Champions Guillermo Rigondeaux and Scott Quigg, as well as IBF Champion Carl Frampton and WBO boss Nonito Donaire.

Sampson Boxing Signs ‘Bad Boy’ Rosas to a Promotional Agreement

Sampson Lewkowicz of Sampson Boxing is proud to announce the signing of formidable super bantamweight contender Daniel “Bad Boy” Rosas to a promotional agreement.

Super Bantamweight Adam Lopez remains undefeated and looks to next big fight

San Antonio, TX (Červen 4, 2015)–This past May 22, Super Bantamweight Adam Lopez won a 6-round unanimous decision over Miguel Tamayo to raise his record to 12-0.
The San Antonio native pitched a shutout on all three judges scorecards by 60-54 tallies.
Lopez was especially enthusiastic about the victory as it took place not far from where he grew up in Southern California.
“I am originally from California and I had lots of family and friends at the fight. It was a tough fight with a veteran of 30 boje. I boxed and took my time to win every round,”Said Lopez.
The win did not come without a cost as Lopez hurt his hand but managed to come through with the victory.
“I hurt my hand and did my best with an experienced opponent. My hand is in a cast and I am taking a few weeks off. I am supposed to be back on Červenec 17 na ShoBox. I am just seeing what my team has planned for me. I am happy that my promoter Vito Mielnicki of GH3 Promotions has me on another ShoBox card.”
