بيتسبرغ, بنسلفانيا…. “Right idea, wrong fight”, those were the words of Dallas welterweight, Jonathan Steele who gained his 8th victory as a professional on WFC 87 at Meadows Racetrack and Casino. “We took the fight on a two week notice. My initial fight on May 18th was canceled, and Upsher’s opponent pulled out at the last minute. I didn’t care what his record was, or who he fought. I knew he had never faced a guy like me before.” Steele added.

Ennis also took the time off to get into some training camps and improve on his own game.
“I was in camp with David Lemieux for when he fought Gabriel Rosado. It was during that time I got my head back and now is where I need to be. I need to go out and listen to my dad (Trainer Bozy Ennis). I am in 32 سنة الآن. هذا هو عليه. It is either all or nothing.”

In one of the 8-round co-features, Steve Upsher Chambers (24-4-1, 6 وKO) returns to the city where he cut his teeth as a professional to take on Alejandro Rodriguez (24-16-1, 14 وKO) في الابن. وزن الوسط نوبة.
