VAIZDO: Michael Dutchover Delivers Emphatic One Punch Knockout Friday Night

PHILADELPHIA, Pennas. / ORANGE, Kalifas. (Liepa 23, 2018) – Junior lightweight Michael Dutchover (10-0, 7 Kos), captivated a sold-out crowd with an electrifying one-punch knockout of Sergio Ramirez (4-3, 4 Kos) Penktadienis night from the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Kalifas.

PHILADELPHIA, Pennas. / ORANGE, Kalifas. (Liepa 13, 2018) – Michaelas Dutchoveris (9-0, 6 Kos), who is among the brightest young talents in the junior lightweight division, takes the next step in his professional career when he headlines “Path to Glory” penktadienį, Liepa 20.

 

 

 

The marquee attraction is Dutchover’s first since turning professional nearly two years ago. The 20-year-old out of Midland, Tex. faces Mexico’s Sergio Ramirez (4-2, 4 Kos)from the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, Kalifas.

 

 

 

“It’s an incredible feeling to be in the main event,” said Dutchover, who signed with Banner Promotions and Thompson Boxing in 2016. “Everything has moved really fast for me. It wasn’t too long ago that I was on undercards fighting four round fights.”

Lightweight contender Tony “Žaibas” Luis says it’ll be the realization of a childhood dream when he serves as guest analyst on the broadcast team this Friday, Gegužė 29.

Luis will join Ron Kruck, Steve Kim and Patrick Ortiz for the live call of “Čempionatas Boksas CBS Sports Network,” will air live on CBS Sports Network (10:00 PM, IR) from the WC Handy Pavilion on Beale Street in Memphis, Tenesis.

“It’s another childhood dream come true,” said Luis of doing commentary. “My mom was a stickler with me over reading when I was little, but once I got the hang of it and discovered boxing, look out! “Max Kellerman motivated me when i was younger,” said Luis of his influences. “I saw a young guy with a passion for boxing. Max is a very good commentator and has developed a good eye for the sport, but I feel I have an edge because I actually live it and know what it is like to be in that ring.”

Luis (19-3, 7 Kos), who lost a controversial decision in a world-title fight in England against England’s Derry Matthews in April, will next be seen, in ring, birželio 25 Niagara Falls, New York against an opponent that is TBA.
