| נייַ יארק (מאַרץ 12, 2016) – וועטעראַן באַקסינג טראַינער טאָממי גאַלאַגער will be Ring 8’s guest speaker at Tuesday night’s (יאַם. 15) monthly meeting, סטאַרטינג בייַ 7 פּ.ם. און, at O’Neill’s Restaurant, ליגן אין 64-21 53rd Drive in Maspeth, ניו יארק.
In celebration of St. פּאַטריק ס טאָג, an Irish menu will feature Corn Beef & Cabbage, as well as Shepard’s Pie.
“Everybody’s Irish for St. פּאַטריק ס טאָג,” רינג 8 פּרעזידענט באָב דאַפי האט. “It’s only appropriate that our guest speaker is and Irishman, טאָממי גאַלאַגער. He’s done it all in boxing during the past 40 יאָרן. Tommy’s been a big part of Ring 8 for a longtime and he’s known as a good storyteller.”
Best known, טאָמער, for his role in די קאַנטענדערז reality television series, last year Gallagher was inducted into the New York State Boxing Hall of Fame, which is sponsored by Ring 8. In addition to being a trainer, he has been a promoter and gym owner/operator.
Gallagher has been involved in the careers of boxers such as Doug DeWitt, וויטאָ אַנטואָפערמאָ, Donny Lalonde, Lou סאַוואַרעסע און Sergei Kobozev, צווישן די מער נאָוטאַבאַלז.
