| NEW YORK (Maret 12, 2016) – Veteran trainer boxing Tommy Gallagher will be Ring 8’s guest speaker at Tuesday night’s (Segara. 15) monthly meeting, miwiti ing 7 P.M. Lan, at O’Neill’s Restaurant, dumunung ing 64-21 53rd Drive in Maspeth, New York.
In celebration of St. Day Patrick kang, an Irish menu will feature Corn Beef & Cabbage, as well as Shepard’s Pie.
“Everybody’s Irish for St. Day Patrick kang,” Ring 8 presiden Bob Duffy ngandika. “It’s only appropriate that our guest speaker is and Irishman, Tommy Gallagher. He’s done it all in boxing during the past 40 taun. Tommy’s been a big part of Ring 8 for a longtime and he’s known as a good storyteller.”
Best known, mbok menawa, for his role in Contenders reality television series, last year Gallagher was inducted into the New York State Boxing Hall of Fame, which is sponsored by Ring 8. In addition to being a trainer, he has been a promoter and gym owner/operator.
