Below is a list of the Pound-4-Pound who brought home titles.
Angel Barrientes 14-yrs (95 磅), Chavez Barrientes 14-yrs (101 磅), Dorian Khan 14-yrs (106 磅), Isaiah Hooker 13-yrs (110磅), Jair Aguilar 10-yrs (65 磅), Jayden Orpilla 8-yrs (55 磅), John Armstrong 10-yrs (65 磅), Jathan Barajas 10-yr (85 磅), Tysean Tillman 13-yrs (95 磅)
LAS VEGAS, NV (六月 14, 2017) – 剛剛過去的這個 星期六, 該 “Pound-4-Pound” boxing gym out of Las Vegas, sent 15 boxers to the 6th Annual Southern California State Championships, in Menifee, 加利福尼亞州. Out of the 15 who participated, 9 brought home belts and were crowned champions.
“It was a very successful weekend for our program,” said head coach Richard Barrientes. “Everyone gave it their all and we came home with 9 belts. I’m very proud of all our boys and girls who participated, even those who didn’t bring home titles. Boxing is a great sport and its teaching these kids the valuable lessons of hard work. The goal for this program is to build young leaders who will always take account for their actions.”
