The former world champion Nelson (17-1-3, 2 KO) became the 173rd undefeated fighter to suffer their first professional loss on ShoBox: A New Generation.

 

 

 

“I’m not happy because I didn’t win, but other than that I thought I executed pretty well,” said the 41-year-old Nelson. “I gave her a better fight than she was expecting.

“I thought it was a bogus decision,” Garza said. “I don’t understand that last judge’s card. I was happy with everything that I did. I executed well and did everything I needed to do to win the fight.

The 26-year-old Ergashev has been a pro for just over one year and is a former six-year member of the Uzbek national team where he won 202 az ő 216 amatőr mérkőzések. Hernandez is coming off two consecutive wins over previously undefeated, top-15 ranked fighters – a unanimous decision over Glenn Dezurn on November. 11, and fifth-round TKO of Vladimir Tikhonov in his ShoBox debütálni Augusztus. 4.
