Split-T Management signs amateur standout Eric Puente to management deal

NEW YORK (Septembre 7, 2018)–Boxing’s deepest management stable just got richer as Split-T Management is proud to announce the signing of amateur standout Eric Puente to an exclusive management deal.

 

 

 

Puente, 19 years old of Vista, California by way of Sinaloa, Mexico will campaign in the lightweight division.

 

 

 

Puente started boxing at the age of eight years-old by his father/trainer, Jean.

 

 

 

He went on to win the 2016 National Youth Open Championship, and was a member of Team USA. Puente was a favorite to be a member of the 2020 United States Olympic Team.

 

 

 

Puente, who stand 5’8″ likens his style to a cross between Danny Garcia and Yuriorkis Gamboa.

 

 

 

“Boxing is everything to me! I live, eat and sleep boxing 24/7. Boxing is always on my mind,” said Puente. “”When the boxing world sees me fight, they will see and old school warrior that will do everything he can to come out victorious,” said Puente. “I take a lot from all the great fighters of the past like Juan Manuel Marquez, Marco Antonio Barrera, Eric Morales and Sugar Ray Leonard, and put into me: Eric Puente, future superstar in boxing!”

Sampson Boxing Signs Undefeated Featherweight Eduardo Ramirez to a Promotional Contract

Sampson boxing proudly announces the signing of undefeated featherweight Eduardo “Zurdito” Ramirez of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Mexique, to an exclusive long-term promotional contract.

Ramirez (20-0-2, 7 KOs) is a 24-year-old, highly skilled southpaw with fast hands and super defense. He is managed and trained by Manuel Montiel Jr., brother of the five-time world champion Fernando Montiel.
“I am shocked and honored to be chosen to join the stable of Sampson Lewkowicz,” said Ramirez. “My dream of a world title shot will come true now that he is helping me and that was my goal all along. All I have to do is keep wining and my team will do the rest.”
Montiel, who also manages and trains Sampson Boxing super welterweight contender Jorge Cota, was also happy with the deal.
“I am grateful to Sampson for giving us this opportunity with another of my fighters. We have made him a commitment to work hard to always bring Eduardo into the ring in the best shape possible to go all the way to the world championship.”
For Lewkowicz, the addition of Ramirez and partnership with Montiel are another avenue to bring Mexican boxing talent to the forefront. The well-known promoter already works with such names as Jorge “Pilon” Lara and Hugo “Cuatito” Ruiz to name a few.

L'un des combattants les plus importants du Venezuela, Juan 'El Niño’ Ruiz (14-0, 8 KO) est de retour sur le ring ce Vendredi, Août 21 au Parc Révolution à Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexique.
Ruiz fera face combattant du Mexique, Juan Carlos Marquez ( 11-8-4, 5 KOs) dans un combat prévu six rounds combat à la division poids welter.
Dans son dernier combat, Marquez était victorieux contre l'ancien combattant invaincu Gael Cota par décision unanime dans un combat passionnant, tenue à Los Mochis.
“Je suis prêt à relever ce défi contre un adversaire qui connaît son affaire, et vient de remporter une belle victoire. Je ai eu un excellent camp d'entraînement avec mon entraîneur René Miranda à Tijuana, et je suis très confiant que je vais ramener la victoire pour le Venezuela. Nous croyons que mon temps est maintenant, et je vais surmonter tous les défis”- A déclaré Juan 'El Niño’ Ruiz, qui a terminé sa carrière de boxe amateur avec 214 victoires et seulement 6 pertes.
Après une mise à pied de 17 mois, en raison de problèmes de gestion, le boxeur vénézuélien cité, réussi à revenir sur le ring hier Juillet 9 à Tijuana, où il a marqué un premier tour éliminatoire contre Charly Valdez.
En 2013, Ruiz a été classé numéro 11 par l'Association mondiale de boxe (WBA) après avoir éliminé Nelson Lara dans la cinquième ronde, ce qui lui a valu la ceinture Fedelatin.
Ruiz est géré par Ben Lieblein et Alfredo Rodriguez.

Sanchez (10-0, 8 KO) sera face à l'expérimenté Pantera Francisco '’ Reza (14-14, 11 KO) de Torreon sur un combat prévu six rondes à l'Omega Produits Arena extérieure.

Sampson Lewkowicz de Sampson Boxing et Oswaldo Kuchle des Promociones Del Pueblo fièrement annoncer le renouvellement de l'ancien intérimaire des poids coq WBA mondiale et actuelle WBC # 2-rated prétendante super coqs, Hugo “Cuatito” Ruiz (35-2, 31 KOs) de Los Mochis, Sinaloa, Le contrat de co-promotion du Mexique.

 

28-ans Ruiz, formé par son père, Heriberto Ruiz et frères jumeaux, Edel et Heriberto Jr (deux anciens combattants de haut niveau), a été vu la dernière fois démolir vétéran mexicain Carlos Medellin en un seul tour Novembre dernier.

Ruiz’ seule défaite au cours des huit dernières années était une décision partagée très discutable à Koki Kameda du Japon dans un combat WBA unification à Osaka, Japon, en Décembre 2012. Ruiz a fait quatre défenses réussies de son championnat intérimaire avant la controverse Kameda.

 

Impressionnant, Ruiz porte un 84% Rapport KO, la boxe au niveau international.
