WASHINGTON, D.C. (Decembro 3, 2018)–This past Saturday night, Tori Nelsonpounded out a 10-round unanimous decision over Sanna Turnunen to retain the UBF Middleweight title in the main event of the first ever fight card at The Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, D.C.

The eight-bout card was promoted by Tricky Entertainment and DCFightNight.

Nelson controlled the action against Turunen by out working her. Turunen was gritty in defeat, but Nelson took the fight in shutout fashion to the tune of 100-90 en todas as placas.

Sam Cruzados was fortunate to gain a split decision over Twon Smith in a cruiserweight bout.

Crossed, 189.6 lbs of Greenbelt, MD is 8-0. Ferreiro, 187.6 lbs of Oklahoma City is 3-2.

Kareem Martin won a six-round unanimous decision over Andrew Rodgers in a welterweight bout.

Washington, D.C. (Novembro 19, 2018) – Tori Nelson will defend her UBF Middleweight world championship against Sanna Turunen in the ten-round co-main event on Sábado á noite, December 1st en The Entertainment and Sports Arena en Washington, D.C.

My opponent lost in her first chance at a world title, and I know she does not want to lose a second time. What she does not yet know is that she is traveling a long way to fight me, and I will do everything in my power to make sure that’s she does not leave with my belt,” said Nelson.

Turunen of Tuusula, Finland has a record of 4-1-1 cun nocaute.

Turunen is coming off a loss to Hannah Rankin on June 16th in England.

Fort Washington, MD (Febreiro 9, 2017)– Despite having a perfect record, cruiserweight Darnell Pierce doesn’t mind fighting in hostile territory. In fact a boxing ring is almost walk in the park compared to some of the tasks that this United States Army veteran has endured.

Pierce takes on Luther Smith in the 6-round co-feature bout this Saturday night at the Rosecroft Raceway in Fort Washington, Maryland.

Pierce had a brief amateur career going 9-2, but that due to Army duties, that was spread out over 5 anos.

“I have been working hard. I was in camp with (WBO Cruiserweight champion) Oleksandr Usyk and this cam has been spent with Travis Kauffman and Steve Cunningham,” said Pierce.

In Smith, Pierce has not done much studying, but he is ready for anything on Saturday night.

“I really don’t know much about him. We fought on the same card, but I really did not pay much attention to his fight.”

Despite having the undefeated record, Pierce will be fighting in the hometown of Smith, but that doesn’t faze the 30 year-old Army vet.

“I have had 5 loitas, and I have been the opponent in all of them. I know he will have the fans there, but that doesn’t bother. I am not fighting his fans.”

“I am not too concerned by not having the fan support. When I started fighting, I did that on my own, and this is no different. I spent a little time in Maryland, but I am from Texas. Because my promoter (ofertas rei) is located on the East Coast, I will be fighting on the East Coast a lot, so until I can build up a fan base, this is how it will be.”

“I go about my business. I just enjoy the sport and competing.”

Because of his mindset, Pierce just goes about his training, and with success the supporters will be behind him.

Barnett is excited and honored to be headlining in front of his hometown fans against a former world title challenger.

“Everything is going great in training. Attah is a cagey veteran, who is a southpaw that fights everyone. He has gone the distance with a lot of good fighters such as “Chop Chop” Corley. He was an Olympian in 1996, but he is no threat to me,” said Barnett.

“It means a lot to me to headline at home here in Washington. I can fight in front a lot of my family and friends.”

Barnett knows that with a couple wins, a big opportunity can arise in the 140-pound division.
