Heavyweight contender Travis Kauffman chimes in on controversial decision with Chris Arreola

Lecture, Pennsylvanie (Décembre 14, 2015) -Ce passé Samedi night at the AT & T Center in San Anonio, Poids lourd Travis Kauffman (30-2, 22 KO) and former two-time world title challenger Chris Arreola engaged in a action packed bout that saw Arreola get a dubious split decision by scores 114-113 twice for Arreola and 114-113 for Kauffman.
Most accounts of the fight had Kauffman getting the decision, which included PBC ringside scorer Steve Farhood.
Kauffman de Reading, Pennsylvanie. pushed the action and landed the more telling blows, which included a knockdown in round three from a jab-right hand combination. The fight validated Kauffman as a player in the division, but he wasn’t satisfied with just a good performance.
“Je me sens bien. I thought I did enough to win the fight. I had it 8-4 ou 7-5 in my favor plus the knockdown,” said Kauffman after viewing the fight.
“I dominated from rounds three to nine. I took off ten and eleven as I thought that I was secure with my lead. I dominated the twelfth round and after a three-punch combination, Chris went falling back and it looked like his glove touched the canvas. Peu importe ce que, I thought I won the twelfth round. I backed him up the entire fight. I dominated him at his own game.”
Kauffman believes that he won over the crowd and those in attendance thought that he deserved the nod as well.
“The crowd booed me as I came into the ring and cheered me when I left. I won them over and I won over the boxing public.”
With the performance, Kauffman should be in line for another significant fight in the first quarter of 2016.
“I spoke to my manager, Al Haymon and he said that bigger things are going to happen for me. Weather it is a rematch or someone else, Je suis prêt pour cela. I showed that I am a force in the division. I worked for so long for this fight, so I am just going to take a week off and enjoy my kids and I will be right back in the gym. I am looking to be back sometime between February and April.”

Said Kauffman’s father Marshall Kauffman, “I am very proud of Travis and what he did in the fight Just look at each of them and you could tell who took the beating in the fight. The worst case scenario, the fight it was 6-6 but Travis scored the knockdown that should have gave him the fight. I believe he will get another opportunity. He showed what he is capable of doing.”

SAN ANTONIO (Décembre 13, 2015) – Invaincu Omar “Panterita” Figueroa (26-0-1, 18 KOs) gagné une bagarre intense sur l'ancien champion du monde Antonio DeMarco(31-6-1, 23 KOs) en prime time Samedi nuit Premier Champions de boxe (PBC) surNBC À partir de la&T Center à San Antonio.
Figueroa a obtenu la décision unanime dans un combat bourré d'action qui a vu le jet Texas natif sud sur 1000 poinçons à travers 12 tours. Figueroa a dominé les six premiers tours de la lutte, jetant de nombreuses combinaisons et en prenant un minimum de dégâts de son adversaire.
Le vétéran mexicain DeMarco a gardé le meilleur pour la deuxième moitié de la lutte et a pu atterrir fréquemment coups de puissance propres contre le Figueroa offensif. Dans le 11e-tour, DeMarco chancela Figueroa avec une série de tirs à la tête et semblait l'avoir de sérieux ennuis. Dans le cas de co-vedette, Chris “The Nightmare” Arreola (37-4-1, 31 KOs) gagné une victoire par décision partagée sur Travis “My Time” Kauffman (30-2, 22 KOs) dans une épreuve de force des poids lourds de 12 rounds qui vécu jusqu'à l'trash talk pré-combat entre les anciens partenaires d'entraînement.
Arreola a commencé en force, remportant les deux premiers tours sur les trois juges’ tableaux de bord. Au troisième tour, Kauffman livré une combinaison sensationnelle à la tête et le corps qui a mis sur le tapis Arreola.

En tête d'affiche de la NBC Sports Network télédiffusion avant, ancien champion du monde “Méchant” Victor Ortiz (31-5-2, 24 KOs) de rentrer d'une mise à pied d'un an pour arrêter Gilberto Sanchez-Leon (31-15-2, 13 KOs) dans le huitième round de leur combat welters.
Ortiz revenait d'une fracture du poignet subie à la fin de son dernier combat en Décembre 2014 et a pu atterrir 50 pour cent de ses coups de puissance. L'arrêt est venu à 2:57 dans le huitième round dans un combat prévu pour 10.
San Antonio-natale Mario Barrios (14-0, 8 KOs) impressionné en face de ses fans ville natale sur son chemin à l'arrêt Manuel Vides (18-5, 11 KOs) 31 secondes dans le sixième round. “Ce sont le genre de combats que je l'aime être en. Un peu plus rugueuse que je l'aurais souhaité et mon visage le montre. Ce était un bon combat. Je souhaite que je l'avais fait mieux, mais je fais toujours de mon mieux.
“Ma détermination est ce qui m'a aidé à gagner ce combat. Je ne vais pas perdre un combat. Je ne l'ai pas en moi. Je ai eu toutes les blessures. Je pourrais avoir un bras manquant mais je vais quand même trouver un moyen de gagner le combat.
“Il avait une super ambiance. Je pouvais entendre les fans me encourager et il est un grand sentiment. Je sais que les gens d'ici ont été pour me soutenir et je voulais juste donner mon.
“Il était tout le coeur et les tripes là-bas. Voilà ce que je compte sur quand tout le reste échoue. Nous faisons de notre mieux pour sortir avec la victoire.
“Je veux me battre dans la catégorie de poids de 140 livres. Certaines choses se sont produites qui étaient hors de notre contrôle et nous voulions juste de mettre sur un spectacle pour les fans. Mon corps devient plus grand, mais je veux faire des choses à 140 livres avant de passer jusqu'à. Nous faisons de notre mieux, nous apprendre à faire les choses. Nous sommes dans le processus d'apprentissage.
“Mes mains sentent vraiment bien. Ils ressemblent à des mains. Ce qui est agréable. Mon visage ressemble à un visage, juste un visage battre.
“Antonio m'a donné beaucoup de respect après le combat et il m'a dit que «la famille est la chose la plus importante.’ Nous avons tous le sacrifice au camp d'entraînement et nous sommes tellement reconnaissants que nous arrivons à battre.
“Je l'ai pas quitter en moi. Je me suis battu avec des blessures et l'adversité. Il est tout simplement pas en moi d'arrêter de fumer.”
ANTONIO DEMARCO
“Je pensais que je suis un tirage au sort sur la lutte, mais il est ici dans son état d'origine, avec son public, et je respecte la décision.
“Il était tout simplement trop grand. Pas d'excuses, mais je sais que ce pourquoi il était capable de durer le combat complète avec moi.
“Il venait juste de me pousse vers l'avant, me poussant vers l'avant et l'aide de son poids corporel, mais il ne m'a jamais fait mal à tout moment.”

“Il était un combattant vraiment difficile. Il a obtenu quelques bons coups dans. Je ne veux pas faire des excuses. En trois ans, Je ne l'ai battu deux fois. Il y avait beaucoup de rouille. Mais je suis juste heureux de revenir dans le ring.
“Je me sens aucune douleur. Je suis heureux pour cela et prêts à avancer.
“Mon passé est mon passé. Je veux y aller. Tous les meilleurs welters de, je les veux.
“Ce camp était incroyable. Non seulement Joel Diaz, mais toute l'équipe a été avec moi 24/7 et ils ont été génial. Il est un grand atout d'avoir ce genre de personnes dans mon coin.
“Autrefois, Je me suis toujours trouvé sauter le pistolet. Ces entraîneurs ont aidé à me ralentir. Ceci est certainement un pas en avant.
“Je suis mon pire critique. Il ya beaucoup de choses à améliorer. Mes réflexes étaient bons, mais mon timing était hors. Probablement en raison de l'inactivité. Je suis tellement reconnaissante pour cette opportunité et je dois une nouvelle chance d'atteindre mes objectifs.”
MARIO BARRIOS
“Je suis juste heureux d'avoir pu mettre sur un grand spectacle pour ma famille et les amis. En ce moment je me sens bien. Je ne pouvais pas être plus heureux.
“Nous commençons avec un plan de match qui tourne autour de notre travail hors jab et de ramasser nos coups. Il avait tendance à travailler au centre du terrain et voilà comment nous avons trouvé des ouvertures.
“À tout moment, je suis prêt à y bagarre et asseoir avec lui, mais ce ne fut pas le plan de cette lutte. Le plan était d'être plus intelligent et qui est que nous avons fait.
“Ma taille et la taille est quelque chose que nous travaillons toujours et utiliser à notre avantage.”
TERRELL Gausha
“I’m very happy with my performance but I still have a lot of improvements to make in the gym.”
“Je l'ai pris avec quelques bons coups de corps et qui a été la différence.
“Nous ne ciblons pas n'importe qui, but I’m ready for someone in the top 10. Je tiens à battre à nouveau en Février si possible.”

SAN ANTONIO, TX (Décembre 12, 2015) – L'étoile montante et la sensation super-plume, Mario Barrios (14-0, 8 KOs), demeuré invaincu avec un sixième KO spectaculaire ronde au-dessus Manuel Vides (18-5, 11 KOs). SAN ANTONIO (Décembre 9, 2015) -Fighters concurrentes le samedi de Premier Champions de boxe (PBC) sur NBC et NBCSN cartes organisé une séance d'entraînement des médias avant qu'ils entrent dans l'anneau sur Décembre 12 à San Antonio au récemment rénové AT&T Center.

“Le camp d'entraînement a été phénoménale. Je ne pense pas qu'il aurait pu aller mieux. Considérant tout ce que je suis passé par cette année, il est une telle bouffée d'air frais pour pouvoir effectivement former et former à mon maximum.
“Je pense que je suis vraiment de mieux en mieux. Nous ne cessons jamais améliorer et si nous faisons, qui est quand nos carrières se terminent. Nous essayons toujours d'apprendre et de voir ce que nous pouvons faire mieux et où nous pouvons progresser. Il est un voyage que nous ne sommes même pas à mi-parcours.
“Je ne crois pas avoir eu la meilleure performance contre Ricky Burns mai. Considérant que je devais une main fracturée par le camp, Je ne pouvais pas vraiment former dans le camp. Je bats un ancien champion du monde et je l'ai fait sans la formation autant que je le voudrais.
“Me, un combat est un combat. Amateur de combats. Je aime être dans le ring. Je suis très heureux pour elle. Je ne peux pas attendre. Je veux juste jouer et voir comment je me sens.
“Je pense que Antonio DeMarco est un ajustement parfait pour mon style. Il est vraiment difficile, mais il a des défauts. Il quitte le corps ouvert et qui est quelque chose que je pense que nous pouvons exploiter. Si tout se passe comme prévu, nous allons sortir victorieux.”
ANTONIO DEMARCO
“Je reviens pour l'amour du sport. Je veux montrer à tous que m'a écrit off, que je suis toujours là et dangereux. Ils vont manger leurs mots Dimanche matin.
“Je l'avais déjà pris sa retraite pour des raisons personnelles, mais la boxe est une si grande partie de ma vie. Il me fit sortir de la rue et donné ma famille une bonne vie. “Je suis de retour avec mon ancien entraîneur, qui m'a aidé à atteindre les meilleurs moments de ma carrière. Romulo Quirarte et moi travaillons dur pour revenir à ce niveau.
“Je dois beaucoup de respect pour Omar. Il est invaincu et il a fait de très bonnes choses dans ce sport. Il est un dur combat, mais il est un combat difficile pour nous deux. Il ne va pas être facile pour Omar.
“Je veux les fans de voir un grand combat. Il va y avoir une guerre. Deux Mexicains, avec le sang du Mexique est toujours un grand combat. Je me suis entraîné pour une guerre et je vais montrer à tous que je suis prêt quand je fais un pas dans cette bague.”
DOMINIC Breazeale
“Le camp d'entraînement se est bien passé. Nous avons eu un bon neuf ou 10 semaines de camp avec un groupe diversifié de partenaires d'entraînement. En fait, je laissai tomber à propos 10 livres alors je me sens fort et sain.
“Il est énorme pour finir l'année sur NBC à l'AT&T Center. Je ne pouvais pas demander beaucoup plus.
“Je suis impatient de se battre pour la ceinture. Alignez-les. Je veux me battre top 10, haut 5 gars constamment. Voyons Get It fait.
“Je travaille vraiment dur sur la correction des défauts et améliorer à mon métier. Comme un chasseur-vous que ce que vous voulez faire. Je demande toujours à être testé et voilà ce que je suis impatient de.”
Chris Arreola
“Je sais que je dois à une rude épreuve en face de moi. Mon adversaire a beaucoup d'expérience amateur et il a été un bon pro. Je dois faire ce un chef. Vous ne savez jamais quand ça va être votre dernière chance.
“Je regardais mauvaise dans mes deux derniers combats et vous êtes seulement aussi bon que votre dernier combat. Je pense que mon adversaire me voit comme un combattant sur son chemin vers le bas et qui me incendies jusqu'à. Il va vouloir il ne m'a jamais battu.
“Je l'ai toujours pensé de moi-même comme un combattant d'élite. Ma principale préoccupation est Travis Kauffman. Je dois le battre de façon convaincante. Je dois le battre au point où tout le monde veut me battre pour un titre. Je veux gagner ma chance pour le titre.
“Ceci est le début d'un titre terme. Je veux me cimenter comme un poids lourd haut dans le monde. Je suis un poids lourd à compter avec et je vais prouver que tout le monde. Je besoin de ce combat pour ma carrière.”
Victor Ortiz
“Je ai eu mes hauts et mes bas, mais je veux juste là-bas et de divertir les fans à nouveau. Je ne pense pas que les fans ont toujours été déçu dans combien action il ya quand je me bats.
“Mon premier est toujours là. Je vais profiter pleinement de celui-ci. La scène hollywoodienne est cool, il ne fait pas mal aussi mauvais, mais je préfère être un champion du monde. Je veux revenir à ce niveau.
“Je l'ai moi-même fait pression tout le camp. Je suis juste ici pour mettre dans le travail. Nous sommes prêts à aller faire un spectacle. Je sais que mon adversaire va venir faim et je suis prêt.
“Je me suis fait de grands changements à ma carrière et je pense que ce sera pour le mieux. Je espère que tout le monde se accorde à. Je suis prêt à aller à la guerre.”
MARIO BARRIOS
“Pour terminer l'année avec un combat de ce genre dans ma ville natale, il est la meilleure chose que je pouvais demander. Je suis excité d'être de retour à la maison en face de la lutte contre la famille et les amis.
“Je suis grandement amélioré en tant que combattant cette année. Je l'ai beaucoup appris sur la façon de maintenir le calme dans le ring. Ce sont des choses que je l'ai été en mesure de gagner de l'expérience. Je tiens à rester actif et de garder de mieux en mieux.
“Le camp d'entraînement a été formidable. Nous sommes allés à Houston pour une semaine de notre formation pour travailler avec Miguel Flores et sommes revenus la semaine dernière pour finir à San Antonio. Je me sens fort et prêt à mettre sur un grand spectacle Samedi.
BRANDON FIGUEROA
“Je me sens vraiment bien. Mon équipe et moi ont fait les droits des choses et je suis prêt à monter sur le ring Décembre 12.
“Mon premier combat était aussi un grand spectacle avec mon frère en tête d'affiche. Je ne dis pas que je suis habitué à elle. Mais je ne suis pas vraiment une personne émotive, donc je ne serai pas dérouté par la scène.
“Je suis heureux de faire partie de ce spectacle. Il ya tellement de grands combattants et il est une bénédiction de faire partie de cet événement.
“Mon frère et moi avons tous deux aiment la bagarre et donner aux fans un spectacle, mais je dirais que je suis un combattant plus technique. Je tiens à garder mes distances. Quand il descend à coups de poing et de lancer la négociation, Voilà ce que nous aimons faire.
“Mon adversaire est plus grand que mes anciens adversaires et il a une certaine expérience amateur. Je vais essayer de le boxer, rester à l'extérieur et lui faire mal avec des coups de corps.”

SAN ANTONIO (Décembre 8, 2015) – Les opposants à l'précédemment annoncé Premier Champions de boxe (PBC) sur NBCSN carte sont fixés pour leur Samedi, Décembre 12 abattages à l'AT récemment rénové&T Center à San Antonio.

LAS VEGAS (Avril 27, 2015) – Une gamme complète de actuelles et futures étoiles de boxe est réglé pour divertir la foule MGM Grand Garden Arena de pay-per-view et non-télévisé recours devant la welters affrontement faisant de l'histoire entre Floyd “Argent” Mayweather et Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao sur Samedi, Mai 2.

 

Le undercard pay-per-view est surmonté par une paire de combats mettant en vedette deux des étoiles les plus talentueux et passionnants de la boxe comme WBC des super-champion du monde poids coq Lion “Tremblement de terre” Santa Cruz (29-0-1, 17 KOs) visages bagarreur mexicain Jose Cayetano (17-3, 8 KOs) et WBO champion du monde poids plume Vasyl Lomachenko (3-1, 1 KO) prend portoricaine prétendante Gamalier Rodriguez (25-2-3, 17 KOs).

Combats de Tijuana, Basse-Californie, Mexique, Cayetano est devenu professionnel en 2009 et sprinté à un 10-0 fiche avant de laisser tomber une décision partagée étroite à Ruben Tamayo 2011. Il a récemment laissé tomber une décision à Enrique Bernache en Février après avoir battu Dennis Contreras et Eden Marquez dans ses deux départs précédents. Il espère faire un grand impression dans son U.S. ses débuts surMai 2.

 

Sans doute le plus grand boxeur amateur de tous les temps, avec deux médailles d'or olympiques et deux championnats nationaux amateurs, 27-ans Lomachenko a déjà fait un grand impact dans les rangs professionnels. Il a remporté son titre mondial avec une décision majoritaire sur Gary Russell Jr. l'année dernière. Faire la deuxième défense de son titre de 126 livres, le combattant sur Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, L'Ukraine se rendra pour sa troisième victoire d'affilée globale quand il se bat Rodriguez.

 

Un vétéran accompli de Bayamon, Puerto Rico, Rodriguez obtient une occasion sur la plus grande scène de la boxe quand il se bat Lomachenko. Le 28-year-old a pas perdu un combat depuis 2009 et a 17 victoires consécutives depuis un match nul technique dans 2010. Il a remporté à deux reprises en 2014, ramasser une victoire par décision unanime contre Orlando Cruz et un second tour TKO sur Martin Cardona.

 

Combats de Philadelphie, Hart a été un amateur accompli qui était un 2012 U.S.. Suppléant olympique après avoir obtenu un U.S. Championnat National et un Championnat national des Golden Gloves. A trois fois champion national des Golden Gloves, Salomon Originaire de Lafayette, Louisiane et a pour objectif de maintenir sa fiche parfaite.. Les 31 ans de victoires en ramassé 2014 Eduardo Flores sur, Freddy Hernandez et Arman Ovsepyan. Salomon prend sur le 25-year-old Granados sur Cicero, Illinois.
