Heavyweight contender Travis Kauffman chimes in on controversial decision with Chris Arreola

Lectura, Pennsilvània (Desembre 14, 2015) -Aquest passat Dissabte night at the AT & T Center in San Anonio, De pes pesat Travis Kauffman (30-2, 22 Nocauts) and former two-time world title challenger Chris Arreola engaged in a action packed bout that saw Arreola get a dubious split decision by scores 114-113 twice for Arreola and 114-113 for Kauffman.
Most accounts of the fight had Kauffman getting the decision, which included PBC ringside scorer Steve Farhood.
Kauffman de Reading, Pennsilvània. pushed the action and landed the more telling blows, which included a knockdown in round three from a jab-right hand combination. The fight validated Kauffman as a player in the division, but he wasn’t satisfied with just a good performance.

“I dominated from rounds three to nine. I took off ten and eleven as I thought that I was secure with my lead. SANT ANTONI (Desembre 13, 2015) – El invicte Omar “Panterita” Figueroa (26-0-1, 18 KOs) guanyar una intensa baralla contra l'ex campió del món Antonio Demarco(31-6-1, 23 KOs) en horari estel·lar Dissabte nit en Lliga de Campions de Boxa (PBC) aNBC des del AT&T Center a San Antonio.
Figueroa va guanyar la decisió unànime en una batalla plena d'acció que va veure una sacada de banda de Texas-nativa sud sobre 1000 cops en tot 12 rondes. Figueroa va dominar les primeres sis rondes de la lluita, llançant nombroses combinacions i prenent un dany mínim del seu oponent.
El veterà mexicà DeMarco va guardar el millor per a la segona meitat de la baralla, i va ser capaç d'aterrar amb freqüència cops de poder netes contra el Figueroa mentalitat ofensiva. Al 11º-ronda, Demarco trontollar Figueroa amb una sèrie de trets al cap i semblava tenir-ho en seriosos problemes. MARIO BARRIS RESULTATS espectacular nocaut

SANT ANTONI, TX (Desembre 12, 2015) – L'estrella en ascens i la sensació súper ploma, Mario Barris (14-0, 8 KOs), va mantenir invicte amb un espectacular nocaut en el sisè assalt sobre Manuel Vinyes (18-5, 11 KOs). By coach Bob Sants told me to start throwing more uppercuts and that’s when I landed that big shot in the sixth round. I followed the right uppercut with a left hook and got him out of there.”

“El camp d'entrenament ha estat fenomenal. No crec que podria haver estat millor. Tenint en compte tot el que he passat aquest any, que és una alenada d'aire fresc per poder entrenar en realitat i entrenar al meu màxim.
“Crec que definitivament estic millorant. Mai deixem de millorar i si ho fem, que és quan les nostres carreres acaben. Sempre intentem aprendre i veure el que podem fer millor i on podem progressar. És un viatge que ni tan sols estem a meitat de.
“No crec que vaig tenir la millor actuació davant Ricky Burns maig. Tenint en compte que tenia una fractura a la mà a través de campament, Realment no podia entrenar al camp. Li vaig guanyar a un excampió del món i ho vaig fer sense la formació tant com m'agradaria.

“M'havia retirat prèviament per motius personals, però la boxa és una gran part de la meva vida. Em va treure dels carrers i donat a la meva família una bona vida. “El camp d'entrenament va ser genial. Vam tenir un bon nou o 10 setmana de campament amb un grup divers de companys de batalla. De fet, em vaig deixar caure sobre 10 lliures així que em sento fort i sa.
“És enorme per acabar l'any en la NBC en l'AT&T Center. No podia demanar molt més.
“Tinc moltes ganes de lluitar pels cinturons de. Alinear. Vull lluitar dalt 10, cim 5 nois constantment. Anem a aconseguir que es faci.
“He treballat molt dur en corregir defectes i millorar en el meu ofici. Com un lluitador que això és el que vols fer. Jo sempre pregunto a ser provat i això és el que estic desitjant que arribi.”
CHRIS Arreola
“Sé que tinc una dura prova davant meu. El meu oponent té un munt d'experiència amateur i ha estat una bona pro. He de fer això d'un càrrec. Mai se sap quan va a ser la seva última oportunitat.
“Vaig mirar malament en les meves últimes dues baralles i només ets tan bo com la teva última baralla. Crec que la meva oponent em veu com un lluitador en el seu camí cap a baix i això m'estimula. Ell va a desitjar mai em va lluitar.
“Sempre he pensat en mi mateix com un lluitador d'elit. La meva principal preocupació és Travis Kauffman. He de guanyar-li convincentment. He de guanyar-li al punt on tothom vol que lluiti per un títol. Vull guanyar-me l'oportunitat pel títol.
“Aquest és el començament d'una carrera cap al títol. Vull cimentar a mi mateix com un pes pesat de la part superior al món. Sóc un pes pesat a tenir en compte i vaig a demostrar que per a tot el món. Necessito aquesta baralla per la meva carrera.”
VICTOR ORTIZ
“He tingut els meus altes i les meves baixes, però jo només vull sortir i entretenir els fans de nou. No crec que els fans mai m'ha decebut en la quantitat d'acció hi ha quan barallo.
“El meu cosí és encara aquí. Vaig a treure el màxim profit d'ella. L'escena de Hollywood és fresc, no fa mal tan dolent, però jo prefereixo ser un campió del món. Vull tornar a aquest nivell.
“He estat empenyent a mi mateix tot el campament. Jo només sóc aquí per posar a la feina. Estem preparats per anar a muntar un espectacle. Sé que el meu oponent vindrà amb fam i vull.
“He fet grans canvis en la meva carrera i crec que serà per a millor. Espero que tots sintonitza. Estic a punt per anar a la guerra.”
MARIO BARRIS
“Acabant l'any amb una baralla com aquesta a la meva ciutat natal, que és la millor cosa que podria demanar. Estic emocionat d'estar de tornada a casa lluitant en el front de la família i amics.
“He millorat en gran mesura com un lluitador d'aquest any. He après molt sobre com mantenir les bones formes en el ring. Aquestes són les coses que jo he estat capaç de guanyar amb experiència. Vull quedar-me actiu i seguir millorant.
“El camp d'entrenament ha estat molt bo. Sortim a Houston per a una setmana de la nostra formació per a treballar amb Miguel Flores i vam tornar la setmana passada per acabar a Sant Antoni. Em sento fort i llest per posar en un gran espectacle Dissabte.
BRANDON FIGUEROA
“Em sento molt bé. El meu equip i jo hem estat fent els drets coses i estic llest per entrar al ring Desembre 12.
“La meva primera baralla va ser també un gran espectacle amb el meu germà com a cap de cartell. No estic dient que estic acostumat a ella. Però jo no sóc realment una persona emocional, així que, no es va immutar per l'etapa.
“Estic content de ser part d'aquest espectacle. Hi ha molts grans lluitadors i és una benedicció ser part d'aquest esdeveniment.
“El meu germà i jo els agrada barallar-se i donar als aficionats un espectacle, però jo diria que sóc un lluitador més tècnic. M'agrada mantenir la meva distància. Quan es tracta de cops que llança i el comerç, això és el que ens agrada fer.
“El meu oponent és més alt que els meus últims oponents i té alguna experiència amateur. Vaig a tractar de boxejar, romandre a l'exterior i fer-li mal amb cops al cos.”

Young Stars Complement Epic Welterweight Championship Showdown
Between Floyd Mayweather & Manny Pacquiao

LAS VEGAS (Abril 27, 2015) – A full lineup of present and future boxing stars is set to entertain the MGM Grand Garden Arena crowd in pay-per-view and non-televised action before the history-making welterweight showdown between Floyd “Diners” Mayweather i Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao a Dissabte, Maig 2.

 

The pay-per-view undercard is topped by a pair of fights featuring two of boxing’s most talented and exciting stars as WBC Super Bantamweight World Champion Lleó “El Terratrèmol” Santa Creu (29-0-1, 17 KOs) faces Mexican brawler Jose Cayetano (17-3, 8 KOs) and WBO Featherweight World Champion Vasyl Lomachenko (3-1, 1 KO) takes on Puerto Rican contender Gamalier Rodriguez (25-2-3, 17 KOs).

 

The pay-per-view telecast will be co-produced and co-distributed by HBO Pay-Per-View® and SHOWTIME PPV® a partir de les9 p.m. I/ 6 p.m. PT.

Born in Huetamo, Michoaca de Ocampo, Mexico but fighting out of Los Angeles, Santa Cruz won his first world title in 2012. En 2013 he won his super bantamweight title.

 

Fighting out of Tijuana, Baixa Califòrnia, Mèxic, Cayetano es va convertir en professional en 2009 and sprinted to a 10-0 record before dropping a narrow split decision to Ruben Tamayo in 2011. He most recently dropped a decision to Enrique Bernache in February after defeating Dennis Contreras and Eden Marquez in his previous two starts. He hopes to make a grand impression in his U.S. debutar aMaig 2.

 

Arguably the greatest amateur boxer of all-time, with two Olympic gold medals and two Amateur National Championships, 27-anys d'edat Lomachenko has already made a great impact in the professional ranks. He won twice in 2014, picking up a unanimous decision victory over Orlando Cruz and a second round TKO over Martin Cardona.

 

Lluitant fora de Filadèlfia, Hart was an accomplished amateur who was a 2012 U.S. Olympic alternate after earning a U.S. National Championship and a National Golden Gloves Championship. The 25-year-old will fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena for the first time since his professional debut in 2005 when he stopped Manuel Eastman in the first round.
