EDMONTON, Kanada (November 6, 2017) – In its continuing efforts as the boxing network destination for Canadian boxing fans, Super Channel has announced that it has secured the exclusive rights to air the Liam “Beefy” Smith vs. Liam Williams perlawanan semula, Sabtu ini (November. 11), live from Metro Radio Arena in New Castle, United Kingdom.

In the last fight for both boxers, Smith (25-1-1, 14 KOs) won a controversial fight last April when Williams retired after the ninth round, despite leading on all three judges’ scorecards by identical scores of 86-85. Williams had suffered a double laceration on his right eyebrow that he claimed was the result of Smith’s flagrant headbutt in the third round. Smith believes he was robbed of the opportunity to knockout Williams.
The 29-year-old Smith captured the WBO Super Welterweight World Championship in 2015, stopping American Josh Thompson (17-1) in the seventh round. The gifted Brit made two successful title defenses against fellow countryman and previously undefeated “Jimmy” Kilrain Kelly (16-0) dan Predrag Radosevic (30-1), stopping them in the seventh and second rounds, masing-masing.
Smith lost his belt to star Saul “Canelo” Alvarez a year ago, getting knocked out in the ninth round of their WBO title fight in Texas. Smith won a four-round decision against Marian Cazacu in a tune-up fight this past March, setting the stage for an interim WBO super welterweight title fight against Williams last April in Manchester, UK. “I don’t think you had to be a good fighter to beat me in the first six rounds of our first fight,” Smith said about his original fight with Williams. “I was slow, flat and sluggish. I can never be that bad again. What I did to try and make weight during fight week killed me. It was nothing to do with having a slow start by game plan. Jeter Promotions signs undefeated Welterweight Steve Weimer

York, PA (Februari 17, 2016) – Jeter Promotions is pleased to announce the signing of undefeated Welterweight prospect Steve Weimer to an exclusive promotional contract.
Weimer of York, PA. mempunyai rekod 9-0 with two knockouts and is looking to get back in the ring following a four-year hiatus.
Weimer did not leave the ring because of the usual boxing stereotypes, but he took some time off to get his college degree. Weimer graduated from York College with a degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
Weimer, sekarang 26 years-old had an amateur record of 105-31 was a three-time Pennsylvania Junior Golden Gloves champion and and also won a Pennsylvania open class Golden Gloves title. He holds an amateur win over 140-pound contender Emanuel Taylor and held his own in a fight with future U.S. Olympian Sadam Ali.
Beliau menjadi profesional pada 2008 with a third round stoppage over Spencer Harsley and signed with upstart promoter TKO Promotions. Weimer racked up those nine wins in a three and a half year run, before heading off to college.

Tony Jeter is a Middleweight contender who twice cracked the world rankings and fought Chris Eubank Jr. for the WBA Interim Middleweight title. Jeter formed his promotional company and promoted 20 peristiwa. Jeter is a licensed promoter in Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia and is waiting to receive a promoters license in Pennsylvania.
Weimer is expected to make his debut under the Jeter Promotions banner on April 9at the Springfield ABC in Springfield, Virginia.

NEW YORK, NY (Disember 21, 2015) – A capacity crowd enjoyed the recent 29ke- Ring tahunan 8 Holiday Event and Awards Ceremony at Russo’s On The Bay in Howard Beach, New York.

JENNINGS & SANTANA GAIN RESPECT WITH FANS

“It’s been a hard fought journey to get where I’m at today. After suffering a few losses I decided I was going to dedicate my life to this sport and give it my all. With a lot of hard work and support from my promoter Gary Shaw, I’m now fighting on the biggest stage at the most prestigious venue in boxing. Madison Square Garden is where every fighter dreams they can fight. It’s my time to show the world I’m on the championship level.”

“When you have the right trainer in your corner, it’s truly a blessing. Hoss is the man and he always tells me like it is. If I’m not doing something right he’ll let me know right away, he doesn’t beat around the bush. I’m on a ten fight winning streak and he has a lot to do with it.
