Ramazan (14-3-0, M-1: 810), the 2015 M-1 Global Fighter of the Year, used a choke hold on his Brazilian opponent, Maiquel “Big Rig” Facao (35-9-0, M-1: 0-1-0), in their M-1 Grand Prix middleweight semifinals match. The main event ended at the 2:50 mark of the opening round as Ramazan advances to face three-time Bellator champion Aleksandras “Audra” Shlemenko (51-9-0, M-1: 2-0-0) in the upcoming M-1 Grand Prix Middleweight Championship showdown.

Salita Promotions Signs Russian Super Bantamweight Vladimir Tikhonov

Promoter Dmitriy Salita of Salita Promotions proudly announces the signing of undefeated super bantamweight prospect Vladimir Tikhonov to a promotional contract.
Pro nuo 2008, the 25-year-old southpaw, from Saint Petersburg, Rusija, sports an undefeated record of 13-0, 7 Kos. As an amateur boxer who finished with a record of 85-15, Tikhonov was a gold medallist at the 2008 All-Russia Class A Tournament 2008 in Togliatti and a silver medallist in 2007 and was recognized as the best boxer of the tournament. He has also been given the designation as a Sport Master of Russia.
Tikhonov has had only 13 kovas in eight years and ventured out of his native country only once as a professional. Promoter Salita says that’s about to change.
“Vladimir is an extremely talented fighter with excellent potential to become a world champion,” Sakė žodis. “We are going to get him active and bring him to the United States where he can become known as a top contender in his division. I am very happy to have formed this agreement with one of Russia’s best up-and-coming fighters.”

My amateur and pro experience will be important in fights against top competition. I am very hungry to show that I am the best Super Bantamweight in the world.”

Salita says Tikhonov’s first fight under his promotional banner will be announced shortly, but the focus will be on securing him a shot against one of the division’s best including WBA Champions Guillermo Rigondeaux and Scott Quigg, as well as IBF Champion Carl Frampton and WBO boss Nonito Donaire.

PETERSBURG, Rusija (Sausis 27, 2016) – M-1 Global prezidentas Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJonas “Tai yra” Buchinger, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephanas “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Užuovėja “Amerikiečių buldogas” Morrison.
“We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.”
Buchinger (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov į M-1 Iššūkis 52. M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramazan Emeev Named M-1 Global’s 2015 Kovotojas Metų

ST. PETERSBURG, Rusija (Sausis 12, 2016) – M-1 Iššūkis vidutinio svorio čempionas Ramadanas Emeev has been named M-1 Global’s 2015 Kovotojas Metų.

Rusų Papildsvars Aleksejus Kunchenko was selected as “Prospektas Metų,” oM-1 Iššūkis 63 was the M-1 Global “Event of the Year.”

Emeev (13-3-0, M1: 7-1-0), kovoti iš Rusijos, was a runaway winner as “Kovotojas Metų,” garnering 84.5-percent of the votes to easily outdistance runner-up Viktoras Nemkov(23-5-0, M-1: 14-4-0), the reigning M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion.
Į 2015, Emeev won both of his M-1 fights with his title-winning submission (uždusti) of defending champion Viačeslavas Vasiļevskis in the opening round of their rematch last April at M-1 Iššūkis 56, and first title defense this past December 4oji į M-1 Iššūkis 63 when American challenger Luigi “Italų tankas” Fioravanti was unable to answer the bell for the third round.

Kunchenko (12-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0), the undefeated Russian, nugalėjo “Prospektas Metų” runner-up Adomas “Barzda” Yandiev and third-place finisher Raulis Tutarauli (6-3-0, M-1: 3-0-0). Kunchenko won all five of his fights in 2015, highlighted by his opening-round stoppages of Dez Parker į M-1 Iššūkis 57 ir Alexandre Ramos į M-1 Iššūkis 62.

M-1 Iššūkis 63 was headlined by the highly entertaining rematch between defending M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Stephanas Puetz, Vokietijos, and Nemkov, Rusijos, in the latter’s victory by five-round decision. Emeev’s triumph over Fioravanti was the M-1 Iššūkis 63 bendro funkcija. M-1 Iššūkis 56, headlined by Emeev’s title-winning performance against Vasilevsky, buvo “Event of the Year” runner-up.
