ST. The main event ended at the 2:50 mark of the opening round as Ramazan advances to face three-time Bellator champion Alexander “Torm” Shlemenko (51-9-0, M-1: 2-0-0) in the upcoming M-1 Grand Prix Middleweight Championship showdown.

Russian middleweight prospect Artem Frolov (6-0-0, M-1: 2-0-0) kept his unbeaten pro record intact, submitting Kristijan “Klitško” Hõbe (8-3-1, M-1: 0-2-1) in the first round by way of an arm-bar.

ST. PETERSBURG, Venemaa (Märts 16, 2016) – M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Murad “Jahimees” Abdulaev will make his first title defense, Aprill 8 sisse M-1 Challenge 65,against undefeated challenger Aleksei Kunchenko at Ice Palace Sports Center in St. Petersburg, Venemaa.

Salita Promotions Signs Russian Super Bantamweight Vladimir Tikhonov

Promoter Dmitriy Salita of Salita Promotions proudly announces the signing of undefeated super bantamweight prospect Vladimir Tikhonov to a promotional contract.
Pro alates 2008, the 25-year-old southpaw, from Saint Petersburg, Venemaa, sports an undefeated record of 13-0, 7 Kos. As an amateur boxer who finished with a record of 85-15, Tikhonov was a gold medallist at the 2008 All-Russia Class A Tournament 2008 in Togliatti and a silver medallist in 2007 and was recognized as the best boxer of the tournament. He has also been given the designation as a Sport Master of Russia.
Tikhonov has had only 13 võitleb in eight years and ventured out of his native country only once as a professional. Promoter Salita says that’s about to change.

Salita says Tikhonov’s first fight under his promotional banner will be announced shortly, but the focus will be on securing him a shot against one of the division’s best including WBA Champions Guillermo Rigondeaux and Scott Quigg, as well as IBF Champion Carl Frampton and WBO boss Nonito Donaire.

M-1 Global extends contracts with Ivan Buchinger, Stephan Puetz & Lee Morrison

ST. PETERSBURG, Venemaa (Jaanuar 27, 2016) – M-1 Global president Vadim Finklechtein has announced contract extensions for M-1 featherweight championJohn “See on” Buchingeri, former M-1 Challenge light heavyweight titlist Stephan “T-800” Puetz and top American featherweight contender Alltuulekülg “American Bulldog” Morrison.
We’ve prolonged the contract with M-1 Global veteran fighters Buchinger, Puetz and Morrison,” Finkelchtein said. “We constantly work on our roster to have the best possible fighters.
Buchingeri (30-4-0, M-1: 5-0-0), the 29-year-old from Slovakia, captured the vacant M-1 Challenge featherweight title in 2014, via a fourth-round knockout of Tural Raginov juures M-1 Challenge 52. In his last fight this past October, Buchinger successfully defended his title with a unanimous decision over current M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui juures M-1 Challenge 62.
Puetz (13-2-0, M-1: 4-1-0), fighting out of Germany, is an electrifying fighter who won the M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion in 2014, otsuse tegemist alatesViktor Nemkov juures M-1 Challenge 46. M-1 Challenge middleweight champion Ramazan Emeev Named M-1 Global’s 2015 Fighter Aasta

ST. PETERSBURG, Venemaa (Jaanuar 12, 2016) – M-1 Challenge võiduajamine meister Ramadan Emeev has been named M-1 Global’s 2015 Fighter Aasta.
