Ο Ντέιβλα brothers from Brazil, bantamweight Heliton (15-5-0, Μ-1: 0-0-0) και featherweight Ντιέγκο (18-5-0), will be in action against a pair of Russian opponents, αντίστοιχα, Khamzat Dalgiev (8-1-0, Μ-1: 5-0-0) και ανατολικά Nagibin (8-2-0, Μ-1: 4-1-0).

Busy May & June for M-1 Global
ST. ΠΕΤΡΟΥΠΟΛΗ, Ρωσία (Μάρτιος 31, 2017) – Μ-1 Παγκόσμια πρόεδρος Vadim Finkelchtein (pictured above) has announced five M-1 Challenge events to be held this May and June.
Below is a Q & A with the veteran MMA promoter:
Can you tell us about plans for upcoming M-1 Global events?
VF: “In the next 2-3 months we will promote an extremely full schedule of events. Through the middle of Ιούνιοςμι, we will promote five – I’m not afraid to use these words – grandiose tournaments. April 22nd there’s an event being held in Nazran, which was arranged with the support of the local government, and dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Ingushetia. Επί Μάιος 19ου, in collaboration with Rostec and Rosoboronexport corporations, we will hold a truly spectacular event in Sochi. Our traditional tournament in Orenburg is set for 26 Μαΐου, which regularly takes place at the highest level with a crowded venue. Επί Ιούνιοςe 1st, we will hold another event in St. Petersburg as part of the International Καιconomic Forum program. And already on Ιούνιοςμι 15 – A major tournament will be held June 15ου in Harbin, Κίνα, during the program of the Russian-Chinese Καιxpo. Both in St. Petersburg and China, we are included in the official program, so we will be participating in truly large-scale events.”
Fans are interested in fighters whose performances will decorate these tournaments. Can you reveal some of the competing fighters?
VF: “We will really surprise the audience at these events. A lot of negotiations are ongoing, including those with fighters who are the TopP-20 ranked fighters in the world. There will also be fights involving new fighters. Βεβαίως, we intend to make fights that fans have been waiting for a long time. One is the is the Idrisov vs. Buchinger rematch and, φυσικά, probably the most anticipated fight in Russian MMA today, Shlemenko vs Καιmeev.”
The fight between Alexander Shlemenko and Ramazan Καιmeev had already been postponed twice. What prevents this fight from being canceled for the third time?
VF: “The desire of the two fighters can play the major role here. Καιverything has been done on our side. Αλέξανδρος Shlemenko is ready for this fight. We’re waiting word back from Ramazan Καιmeev. This fight is interesting for fans and we will try to make it happen. People are starting to understand more and more about MMA and we are making fights that our fans want to happen. Not only does this apply to Shlemenko και Καιmeev. but for other popular fighters as well, including undefeated M-1 welterweight champion Alexey Kunchenko, top lightweight Artiom Damkovsky, Damir Ismagulov, Σεργκέι Romanov and many others. We try to sign contracts with only fighters who want to be in spectacular fights. Look at the last events in Moscow. Were any of the 11 fights boring? Μη! Καιven in undercard matches we have fighters who deliver exciting fights and often early finishes. This is the hallmark of our promotion. We do not hold uninteresting events or boring fights.”
Σήμερα, many promotions sign fighters who were fired from UFC. Why are you not doing this?
VF: “Certainly in that way. If fighters are interesting to the Russian public and well known, we will sign him. Αλλιώς, I believe that it is wrong to sign, να το πω έτσι, cast-off fighters. This will not add credibility and strengthen our organization in the MMA world. We do that a different way. We build stars that UFC chases. They were not known at the beginning of their careers but now they are all doing excellent. Fighters of the other promoters who moved in UFC are often fired after a while because, here in Russia, they did not face tough opposition.”
How do you fight the departure of your fighters to the West?
VF: “Εδώ, I disagree with you. It used to be that way. Τώρα, to the contrary, many fighters want to perform in M-1 because it is no less prestigious than performing for Bellator, where the emphasis is on the show. Example of this are Alexander Shlemenko, Σεργκέι Kharitonov, and others. These warriors gladly come to us and agree to fight here because the opposition in M-1 is not weak. Βεβαίως, regarding the departure of the fighters to the West, money plays a great role. But there are fighters who are grateful to M-1 for fame they gained. We paved the road to a greatness for them and, consequently, they do not rush to leave M-1 anywhere.”

Αλεξέι Nevzorov & Movsar Evloev to fight for Interim M-1 Challenge bantamweight title

ΜΟΣΧΑ (Μάρτιος 21, 2017) – M-1 Global has ordered an Interim M-1 Challenge bantamweight title fight, due to a long-term injury to reigning champion Pavel Vitruk, between top contenders Αλεξέι Nevzorov και Movsar Evloev στο Μ-1 Πρόκληση 76, Απρίλιος 22, στην Ινγκουσετία, Ρωσία.
Representing the famed Alexander Nevsky OEMK Team in Stary Oskol, Ρωσία, the home gym for living legend Fedor Emelianenko, Nevsorov (12-2-0, Μ-1: 6-1-0) has won his last three fights, including a second-round stoppage of Andrey Lezhnev τον περασμένο Δεκέμβριο στο Μ-1 Πρόκληση 73, and a three-round decision last September over ανατολικά Nagibin στο Μ-1 Πρόκληση 70.
 Nevorov (pictured above) will be dropping down in weight from featherweight to bantamweight to fight for the title.
Also Russian fighter, Evloev (6-0-0, Μ-1: 6-0-0) is coming off the best victory of his young career, positioning himself for this title shot with a three-round decision over his much more experienced foe, American opponent Lee Morrison (see pictured below), στο Μ-1 Πρόκληση 73.
Known for his tremendous physicality, coupled with an excellent grappling game and diverse striking skill set, Nevzorov has been tabbed as a future MMA star.
 A featherweight match between Russian ανατολικά Nagibin (8-2-0, Μ-1: 4-1-0) και Brazilian Diego D’Avila (18-5-0, Μ-1: 1-0-0) has also been announced for Μ-1 Πρόκληση 76.

ΠΕΤΡΟΥΠΟΛΗ, Ρωσία (Ιανουάριος 23, 2017) – Undefeated M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Αλεξέι Kunchenko will now be challenged by fellow Russian Maksim Grabovich, who has replaced injured Shavkat Rakhmonov, Μάρτιος 3, στο Μ-1 Πρόκληση 75 στη Μόσχα.M-1 Grand Prix middleweight champion Αλέξανδρος “Καταιγίδα” Shlemenko (54-9-0. 1 NC, Μ-1: 4-0-0),the three-time Bellator champion, θα εμφανιστούν Μ-1 Πρόκληση 75 against an opponent to soon be announced.
Kunchenko (15-0-0, Μ-1: 7-0), fighting out of Tyumen, Ρωσία, is a Muay Thai specialist who captured his M-1 Challenge welterweight title belt last April at Μ-1 Πρόκληση 65, when defending titlist Μουράτ Abdulaev retired during the fourth round.
In a non-title fight, Kunchenko won a three-round unanimous decision over Eduardo Ramon at M-1 Challenge at Μ-1 Πρόκληση 70 last September. His first title defense was Δεκέμβριος 5 στο Μ-1 Πρόκληση 72, in which Kunchenko won a 5-round unanimous decision over Abdulaev in a rematch.
Grabovich (5-2-0, Μ-1: 4-0-0), fighting out of famed Stary Oskol in Russia, has won his last three fights in addition to being undefeated in four M-1 Global matches. His signature victory to date was last June at Μ-1 Πρόκληση 68, in which Grabovich won a three-round unanimous decision in the Fight of the Night.
In other announced main card fights, Αμερικανικό ελαφρύ Keon “The Black Assassin” Caldwell (11-3-0, Μ-1: 0-0-0) makes his M-1 Global debut against former M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Maxim Divnich (12-2-0 (Μ-1: 6-2-0), while Russian welterweight prospect Σεργκέι “Streetfighter” Romanov (10-1-0, Μ-1: 3-0-0) faces Russian veteran Magomed “Το White Wolf” Sultanakhmedov (18-5-0, Μ-1: 10-1-0).
