A strong Ukrainian with superior wrestling skills, Butenko (42-11-2, Μ-1: 9-1-0) is an eight-year MMA veteran who has found a welcomed home in M-1 Challenge competition and he has taken advantage of the opportunity. Riding a six-fight win streak, the 29-year-old Butenko captured the vacant M-1 Challenge lightweight title belt last June at M-1 Challenge 67, when he took a five-round unanimous decision over Artiom Damkovsky.

The 24-year-old Yusupov (6-0-0, Μ-1: 4-0-0), fighting out of Dagestan, Ρωσία, will be making his first title defense having captured his coveted belt this past May at Μ-1 Πρόκληση 66, by way of a 5-round unanimous decision over defending champion Βίκτορ Nemkov.

A native of Kazakhstan fighting out of famed Stary Oskol, Ρωσία, Nevkov (23-6-0, Μ-1: 16-5-0) is a former two-time M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion. ORENBURG CITY, Ρωσία (Μάιος 28, 2016) – Last night’s Μ-1 Πρόκληση 66 event had its share of upsets, leading with a main event split decision victory by Rashid Yusopov over defending M-1 Challenge light heavyweight champion Βίκτορ Nemkov, in Orenburg City, Ρωσία.

The 23-year-old Yusupov was riding a 4-fight win streak going into his fight with Nemkov. A former Russian, European and World Amateur MMA champion, Yusupov is known as a dangerous striker whose signature moves are powerful kicks.
Puetz vs. Seledtsov was billed as “Terminator” vs. “Spetsnev” and it lived up to its name as Puetz won a unanimous 3-round decision.
