Uncasville, Conn. - A lista completa de lutas para o retorno do Bellator à Mohegan Sun Arena este Sexta-feira, Março 13 é oficial com um card principal de seis combates empilhados, encabeçado pelo atual campeão de duas divisões Patricio Pitbull (30-4) defendendo seu 145-lb. título nas quartas de final do Grande Prêmio Mundial dos Pesos Pena contra o produto SBG e o azarão do torneio Pedro Carvalho (11-3).



Bellator 241: Pitbull vs. Carvalho irá transmitir ao vivo exclusivamente em DAZN em 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT, enquanto a ação preliminar será transmitida Canal do Bellator MMA no YouTube, bem como DAZN, começando no 7:30 p.m. E / 4:30 p.m. PT.

SANTA MONICA, CALIFÓRNIA (Dezembro. 6, 2016) – It was announced today that one of MMA’s hottest prospects, E Ruth (1-0), will waste no time continuing to build his resume, as he fights Emanuele Palombi (5-2) for his second fight in as many months. The bout takes place nesta sexta-feira em "Bellator 168: Sakara vs. Beltran," em Dezembro. 10 from the Mandela Forum in Florence and will air LIVE and FREE on SPIKE at 4pm ET/PT.

 

Com apenas 26 anos, Ruth is looking to pave the way for the other members of “The New Breed," a group of highly accomplished wrestlers who have all signed to fight under the Bellator MMA banner including: Joey Davis (1-0), Tyrell Fortune (1-0), Jarod Trice (1-0) bem como Aaron Pico e Algodão Romero – the last of which have yet to make their highly anticipated professional debuts. Before he was a three-time National Champion and four-time All-American wrestler at Penn State University, Ruth attended the world-renown Blair Academy in Susquehanna Township, PA, where he was the top-ranked recruit in the nation for his weight class. Having achieved great success at every stage of competition throughout his life, Ruth aspires to have the Bellator middleweight gold around his waist before long. BELLATOR MMA SIGNS THREE-TIME NATIONAL CHAMPION ROMERO COTTON TO EXCLUSIVE MMA CONTRACT

SANTA MONICA, Califa. (Novembro 7, 2016) – Bellator MMA is proud to announce the signing of highly sought after wrestling prospect Algodão Romero a uma exclusiva, contrato multi-luta.

The 26-year-old’s focus is currently set on finishing up his psychology degree at Nebraska Kearny University, but look for Cotton to make his professional MMA debut in 2017, where he will compete at 185-pounds.

“Having an opportunity to be part of a promotion like Bellator so early in my MMA career is one that I am thankful for. Being that I’m just starting out in the sport I thought it would be two or three years of grinding and working my way up the ladder before reaching a company of this magnitude,” Cotton said. “Having seen how Bellator’s recent string of wrestlers have been treated and performed, I’m honored to be the latest and there’s nothing I’m looking forward to more than showing the world my skills that I’ve acquired throughout my life not only as a wrestler, but as an athlete. Agora, I move onto the next phase of my career and will continue to develop into a well-rounded fighter.”

A three-time NCAA Division II national champion at 197 lb., Cotton is also a four-time All-American and is the first-ever three-time champion in the 111-year history of Nebraska Kearny University. He finished his collegiate career with a fantastic record of 66-10. Originally enrolled at Nebraska, Cotton also played football in college, redshirting his freshman year for the Cornhuskers, before tranferrring to UNK, where he played football for three years.

Cotton joins blue-chip amateur wrestling prospects: Aaron Pico, Joey Davis, Jarod Trice, Tyrell Fortunee E Ruth on the roster and will compete in the middleweight division, which is currently championed byRafael Carvalho.
