Eight-time world champion ThomasThe HitmanHearns has confirmed that he will appear and have a booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center for the second annual Box Fan Expo that will take place Hnub vas xaum. The Boxing Expo will coincide with the Floyd Mayweather vs Andre Berto championship fight, which will take place later that evening and Mexican Independence weekend.

Hearns more famously known asThe Hitman,” became the first boxer in history to win world titles in four divisions. He would also become the first fighter in history to win five world titles in five different divisions. Hearns was named Ring Magazine Fighter of the Year in 1980 thiab 1984 and is best known for his fights with Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler and Roberto Duran. He was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame in 2012.
Hearns will also have on hand, T-shirts, gloves and signed pictures for fans to purchase and enjoy.

Lennox Lewis to be Inducted into Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame Sat. Aug. 8, 2015 at Caesar’s Palace Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NV. — Superstar heavyweight LENNOX LEWIS, the last undisputed heavyweight champion and who won an Olympic gold medal with a victory over Riddick Bowe and scored professional victories over boxing legends such as Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield thiab Vitali Klitschko, confirmed Hnub peb that he will return to Las Vegas this weekend to attend the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame’s third annual induction gala at Caesars Palace on Saturday, Lub yim hli ntuj 8.

 

Lewis is the latest in a gaggle of stars who have announced they’ll attend the popular gala induction ceremony. In addition to Lewis the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame has confirmed that Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Felix Trinidad, Marco Antonio Barrera,Eddie Mustafa Muhammad thiab Roger Mayweather will also attend the high-profile event as the newest members of the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame.

 

Lewis, who was 41-2-1 nrog 32 knockouts and had a win over every man he ever faced in the ring, is one of the headliners of the NVBHOF’s 2015 class of inductees, chosen in the non-Nevada boxer category.

 

Lewis avenged the only two losses of his career, stopping both Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman after losing to them earlier.

 

Lewis was a classic boxer with a powerful punch. He’s probably best known for his 2002 win over Tyson, where he won every round before stopping him in the eighth round.

 

He held all, or a version of, the heavyweight title from 1993 until 1994 and then again from 1997 through the end of his career in 2003

 

Lewis had great success in Nevada and avenged both of his losses in Las Vegas. He was 8-0 in his Nevada career and won fights at both Caesars Palace and Caesars Tahoe.

 

In the latter part of his fighting career, Lewis joined HBO Sports as an expert analyst and was a familiar figure at ringside for many of the biggest bouts of the late 20th and early 21st century in Las Vegas.

Toney is a former IBF middleweight, super middleweight and cruiserweight world champion. He has been regarded as one of the greatest defensive fighters of his era and was unbeaten in his first 46 contests bouts. Toney has fought at the elite level for more than three decades and is a sure first ballot Hall of Famer. Toney holds notable wins over Michael Nunn, Reggie Johnson, Mike McCallum, Iran Barkley,Vassiliy Jirov thiab Evander Holyfield. With over 90 pro fights in his career, not once has he ever been knocked out and no referee has ever had to save him or stop a fight while competing. Martinez was previously in the light-middleweight division, where he held the WBC light-middleweight title (interim then elevated to full-status champion).

Martínez was formerly rated as the number three pound-for-pound best boxer in the worldbehind Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiaoby most sporting news and boxing websites, including Sports Illustrated, ESPN, Yahoo! as Vegas (Rau hli ntuj 11, 2015) – Former WBO world champion Ruslan Provodnikov has confirmed that he will appear at the Las Vegas Convention Center for the second annual Box Fan Expo that will take place Saturday Sept. 12. The Box Fan Expo will coincide with Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s last fight and Mexican Independence weekend.

 

Ruslan Provodnikov also known as theSiberian Rocky,” is a Russian professional boxer in the Light Welterweight division and is a former WBO Light Welterweight Champion. He is a fan favorite because of his fighting style and how he developed a reputation for being an exciting, come-forward, aggressive fighter. His fight with Tim Bradley was named “2013 Fight of the Yearby Ring Magazine and the Boxing Writers Association of America.

The Boxing Expo will coincide with Floyd Mayweather jr. last fight and Mexican independence weekend.
Fernando Vargas, is a retired American boxer of Mexican descent and 3 Time world champion, who won a bronze medal as an amateur at the1995 Pan American Games nyob rau hauv Mar del Plata. His nicknames includeFerocious”, “The Aztec Warrior” thiab “El Feroz”. Vargas was the youngest fighter to become world light middleweight champion at 21 years old in the history of boxing.


Some of Fernando’s notable wins include victories over former world champions Raúl Márquez, Yori Boy Campas, Ike Quartey, and overWinky Wright. His losses to Oscar tsib La Hoya, Félix Trinidad, Shane Mosley, thiab Ricardo Mayorga remain his only career defeats and he is a favorite of American cable TV giant HBO.

Las Vegas (Rau hli ntuj 4, 2015) Four-Time world champion Joel “El Cepillo” Casamayor has confirmed that he will appear and have a booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center for the second annual Box Fan Expo that will take place Saturday September 12, 2015. The Box Fan Expo will coincide with Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s last fight and Mexican independence weekend.

 

Casamayor was a great amateur boxer who won the gold medal for Cuba at Bantamweight during the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. He then turned pro after defecting to the United States on the eve of the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. He is a former WBC, WBO, WBA and Ring Magazine champion.
