The M-1 Challenge 65 Fight of the Night was between Russian middleweight prospect Artjoms Frolovs (6-0-0, M-1: 2-0-0) pret Kristijan “Klitschko” Sudrabs (8-3-1, M-1: 0-2-1), in which Frolov won by way of an opening-round submission by way of an arm-bar.

PETERSBURG, Krievija (Aprīlis 10, 2016) – M-1 Challenge middleweight čempions Ramadāns Emeev won last night at M-1 Challenge 65 to advance to the M-1 Global Grand Prix Middleweight Championship, while undefeated challenger Aleksejs Kunchenkodefeated defending champion Murad “Medību zirgs” Abdulaev to become the new M-1 Challenge welterweight titlist, at CSC Sibur Arena in St. Petersburg, Krievija.
Ramazan (14-3-0, M-1: 810), the 2015 M-1 Global Fighter of the Year, used a choke hold on his Brazilian opponent, Maiquel “Big Rig” Facao (35-9-0, M-1: 0-1-0), in their M-1 Grand Prix middleweight semifinals match. The main event ended at the 2:50 mark of the opening round as Ramazan advances to face three-time Bellator champion Alexander “Vētra” Shlemenko (51-9-0, M-1: 2-0-0) in the upcoming M-1 Grand Prix Middleweight Championship showdown.

ST. PETERSBURG, Krievija (Gājiens 16, 2016) – M-1 Challenge welterweight champion Murad “Medību zirgs” Abdulaev will make his first title defense, Aprīlis 8 uz M-1 Challenge 65,against undefeated challenger Aleksejs Kunchenko at Ice Palace Sports Center in St. Petersburg, Krievija.
Abdulaev vs. Kunchenko replaces the rescheduled M-1 Challenge lightweight championship bout between defending champion Mansour “Tarzan” Barnaoui un Challenger Artem Damkovsky due to injuries suffered by both fighters during training camp.
M-1 Global has also announced an M-1 Challenge 65 match between former M-1 Challenge lightweight champion Maxim Divinich and M-1 Global debuting Robert Turnquest.
Ramadāns Emeev (13-3-0, M-1: 7-1-0), reigning M-1 Challenge middleweight champion, takes on Brazilian challenger Maiquel “Big Rig” Falcao (35-8-0, M-1: 0-0-0) in the M-1 Challenge 65 Galvenais notikums. A powerful striker always with knockout intentions, Abdulaev (shown above in action) has been out of action since then due to a variety of reasons.
Also a KO specialist like his fellow-Russian opponent, Kunchenko (12-0-0, M-1: 4-0-0) has stopped 10 no viņa 12 victims inside the distance. The Russian (shown above kicking) was M-1 Global’s 2015 Prospect of the Year.
