New Jersey promoter makes first wave of signings
All will be in action on Subota, November 12th The Claridge Hotel u Atlantic City
Millville NJ (Oktobar 3, 2016)–Rising Promocije is proud to announce the signings of super middleweight Isiah Seldon, super lightweight’s Marvin Johnson & I Murray, bantam dallas Holden, Cruiserweight David Sparks and featherweight Dion Sparks to exclusive promotional contracts.
They join undefeated heavyweight Quian Davis (3-0-2, 2 KO-a) as the first group of fighters to ink contracts under the Rising Promotions banner.
Davis is coming off a 28 second knockout this past Subota night in Trenton, New Jersey over Jonathan Hafley
Seldon of Atlantic City, New Jersey ima rekord 9-1 sa tri nokauta.
The 28 year-old son of former WBA Heavyweight world champion, Bruce Seldon, pretvorio u profesionalne 2010 and won his first seven bouts. I was on the shelf for a year and now I get the opportunities to show my skills,” said Johnson.
Murray, 24 years-old of Barnegat, New Jersey was 26-7 kao amater. He was a New Jersey Golden Gloves and New Jersey Diamond Gloves champion.

Holden, 20 years-old of Atlantic City was a highly regarded amateur who amassed 50 tuče. Holden fought in the Philadelphia Golden Gloves. He has a professional record of 1-0. Holden turned professional on 22. jul with a four-round unanimous decision over Kevin Asmat in Atlantic City.
“I have known Thomas for a long time and its going to be a good thing. It’s going to open a lot of doors. Because of my amateur career, people know me and now they want to see me fight as a professional,” said Holden.

“Signing came at a great time. We needed a break in our career. We have been going through some difficult things. I expect to fight a lot . Hopefully every month or two. I am always in the gym. Hopefully eight to ten fights.

Dion Sparks, 19 godina star, had 135 amaterski tuče. He won 3 national championships and 2 world championships, and at one point was ranked number-one in the United States.

“This is every exciting. I can do really great with Rising Promotions. I am young and talented. We been all over including at Mayweather Gym. I am always in shape and I am ready to fight. Atlantic City, NJ (Juli 19, 2016)–Ovog petka noć na Claridge u Atlantic City, velter kategorija, Antonije “Sok” Young will be in the headlining bout for the first time, and he gets to do it in front of his hometown fans as he takes on Eduardo Flores in six-round bout in a card promoted by Rising Promotions.
The 28 year-old former college football player will look for his 2nd straight win and in the process look to put on a dominant performance against a man who has more than three-times the amount of fights then the Atlantic City native.
“Camp has gone well. I have been sparring with a fighters such as Anthony Burgin, Tevin Farmer, Thomas LaManna and Arturo Padilla,” rekao je Young.
In Flores, he is facing a guy who has faced a litany of prospects and contenders and is by far the most experienced foe that Young has faced.
“I know he is a veteran and has been stopped five times in 47 tuče. I know he is coming to fight and I hope to execute the game plan and then I can be the 6th guy to stop him.”

Young knows that a few good wins can put him in position to get in line for a great opportunity, but he is not looking past Flores.
“I plan on getting the win u petak. I am taking this one fight at a time. I am looking to get back in the ring in September and hopefully fight for a regional title next year. I just want everyone to come out u petak and put on a spectacular performance.”

The 28 year-old won his first ten bouts that was highlighted by a victory over Jose Javier Calderon (4-1).
This will be Young’s 6th (and 4th consecutive) fight in his hometown.
He is coming off a 6-round unanimous decision victory over Juan Rodriguez on April 29.
Vasquez of Managua, Nicaragua has a record of 12-14-2 sa osam nokauta.
