HARTFORD, Коннектикут. (Февраль 18, 2019) – Непобедимый перспективы Ричард “Папай Морячок Человек” Ривера возвращается на юг в эту субботу вечером (Февраль. 23) в другой “оставайся занятым” бороться на “Кристи Мартин: ночь битвы” карта, представлен Кристи Мартин Промоушнс, в Centerstage @ Noda в Шарлотте, Северная Каролина.


В ноябре прошлого года 30й, Ривера впервые дрался в Шарлотте, выбить местного фаворита Джошуа Робертсон в шестом раунде. В феврале. 23 он встретится с ветераном мексиканским бойцом Хосе “Олимпико” Загон (20-23, 12 КО) в запланированном поединке из шести раундов, который будет разыгрываться в промежуточном весе 187 фунтов.

Blanco connected with Martin through social media and, as he explained, things went smoothly from there to place Rivera on that card. “We want to keep Richard busy and then have a breakout year in 2019,” Blanco noted. “The beauty of Richard is that he stays busy and works hard, sometimes when he’s training by himself. Boxing is his job and I believe he’s destined for greatness.”

The doctors told my parents that, if I survived, I’d only live to be 19, in a wheelchair and a little autistic. I had surgery the next day and my pops kept hope. As I got older, I played basketball, футбол, baseball and boxed. I was inactive for seven years when I went away to school and started matchmaking.”

The durable Solorio had only been knocked out once in 17 pro fights going into the ring against Rivera, who has knock out six of his seven victims.

 

 

 

The first was a feeling-out round, but Rivera picked up the pace in the second, landing several hard shots on his game Mexican opponent. The highly entertaining Rivera cruised through the third through fifth, picking his spots better, but it was bombs away in the sixth as Rivera landed a right that sent Solorio to the deck. Solorio was penalized a point in the sixth for unsportsmanlike conduct.

His uncle was murdered three years outside of a venue in which Sharad was boxing and, sadly, his father has been in and out of prison. Collier grew up in toughest part of (south) Хартфорд, spent time in a detention center and, at times, lived in and out of foster homes.

 

 

 

“I’ve been through a lot in life,” the charismatic Collier admitted. “I’ve had to fight my whole life. My goals include becoming world champion, making good money, and buying a house. I have two kids and I want them to have a better life than I did. I love boxing and it’s my way out.”
