Dan Pasciolla looking to defend and win New Jersey State Heavyweight title this Friday against Quian Davis

Atlantic City, NJ (Mei 31, 2018) – Heavyweight Dan Pasciolla (9-3-3) won the New Jersey State Heavyweight title when he won a six-round unanimous decision over former world champion Imamu Mayfield on March 19, 2016.

 

 

 

De 32 year-old native of Brick, New Jersey signed on to fight Quian Davis (4-0-2, 2 KO) this Friday night at The Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City, and was informed that the fight would be for the vacant title.

 

 

 

That was news to Pasciolla and his manager Rich Masini, as the pair believed that Pasciolla was still the champion.

 

 

 

“I have been waiting for a fight. I was in camp in Poland, and I am in better shape. My goal is to get in the ring, and show a different Dan Pasciolla,” said the 5-year veteran.

 

 

 

When asked about Davis, Pasciolla is ready for his undefeated opponent.

 

 

 

“I know he did not have much of an amateur career. He is just another guy that I will be getting into the ring with. Experience plays a factor, and I bring much more than thaton Friday. I have been working hard, and things are coming together,”

 

 

 

Pasciolla is not letting the fact the he is already fighting for a belt that he already owns get in the way of his preparation.

 

 

 

“I am not sure why there is a new title since I already am the champion, but I will walk out with 2 belts on Friday. It is very important because it represents my state, so it is a big deal to me. I do not do a lot of talking. I will do my talking between the ropes.”

 

 

 

“This is a funny and crazy business at times,” said Pasciolla’s manager , Rich Masini. “Dan beat Mayfield for the state title, It is even recognized on Boxrec.com, but somehow, I guess that doesn’t count anymore, but Dan will enter the ring with that belt, and apparently now we are fighting for the same title but a different belt. That aside, Dan will be fighting a tough opponent. Dan is used to being the underdog, but he relishes that role. Dan has worked very hard, and he has transformed his body and is in great shape.”

 

 

 

“I am sure Davis has trained hard. I just think it is very ironic that the same man is fighting for another belt of the same title that he already owns. Ik heb in het boksen voor geweest 30 jaar, so nothing ever surprises me. I am glad that Rising Star Promotions is giving us another opportunity. The reason that I manage fighters is that there are good men out there, and Dan is a great man, who will be ready for his opponent on Friday night.”

Anthony “Sap” Young signs with Real Deal Entertainment

Young to take on Enver Halili deze zaterdag night at Boardwalk Hall

Atlantic City, NJ (Mei 29, 2018) – Boxing manager Rich Masini announced that welterweight Anthony “Sap” Young has signed a promotional contract with Real Deal Entertainment.

 

 

 

Jong (18-2, 6 KO) of Atlantic City will make his debut under the Real Deal Entertainment banner when he takes on this Saturday night when he takes on Enver Halili (10-1, 3 KO) in a scheduled eight-round bout at Boardwalk Hall in his hometown of Atlantic City.

 

 

 

“I am happy to join Real Deal Boxing. They are an up-and-coming promotion,” zei Young.

 

 

 

In Halili, Young will be fighting the brother of a former opponent who defeated Young for one of his two defeats.

 

 

 

“I expect a tough fight. I saw his fight against Raymond Serrano, and I think he was winning until he got disqualified. I expect to get the victory. Aan het einde van de dag, he is not his brother Skender. When his brother beat me, it was just a little setback.”

 

 

 

The Atlantic City native is honored and motivated to be performing on Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame weekend.

Masini, who has managed Young for the last six-years, is excited at the new partnership that he has for his fighter.

 

 

 

“I have seen “Sap” Improve greatly over his last seven fights. It is Anthony’s commitment and his team led by trainer Raul “Chino” Rivas that have done a great job with his preparation,” Zei machines. “Bovendien, Anthony’s dad, Teany has helped me in the management end of things. I am very proud of him. He has matured inside and outside of the ring.”

LaManna stops Valenzuela in one

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Juli 22, 2016)-Weltergewicht Anthony “Sap” Jong won a six-round unanimous decision over veteran Eduardo Flores in the featured bout of a nine-bout card afgelopen Vrijdag nacht bij de Claridge in Atlantic City.
The bout headlined a sold out night of boxing that was promoted by Rising Promotions. It was the fourth consecutive sold out event in the last eight months that Rising Promotions has staged.
The co-feature saw welterweight Thomas “Cornflake” LaManna tuned up for a major bout in the fall with a first round destruction of Engleberto Valenzuela in a super welterweight bout.
Jong, of Atlantic City systematically took apart Flores, despite Flores trying to frustrate Young by coming in with wild shots for which some strayed behind the head.
Uiteindelijk, It was Young, who was not headlining for the first time, but being spurred on by his hometown fans and he was able to get the victory to the tune of 60-54 & 59-55 tweemaal.

This was “Cornflake’s” fifth consecutive win and second consecutive inside the distance to raise his record to 21-1 met tien knockouts. Valenzuela is 10-8.
Zwaargewicht Dan Pasciolla avenged his only pro defeat by winning a six-round unanimous decision over Dante Selby.
Pasciolla was credited a knockdown in round two as he landed a flurry in the corner and it was ruled that only the ropes stopped Selby from hitting the canvas.

Pasciolla of Brick, New Jersey won by scores of 60-53 tweemaal en 59-54 en is nu 8-1-1. Selby of Philadelphia, was coming off a two and a half year layoff is 2-2-1.

Exciting bantamweight prospect Christian Carto made it two consecutive stoppages by halting debuting Christopher Nelson in round three of their scheduled four-round bout.

Carto of Deptford, NJ floored the Indiana native in each of the three rounds and the bout was stopped fifty-one seconds into the third frame.
Carto is now 2-0 met twee knockouts.

Marvin Johnson scored a third-round knockdown en route to a four round unanimous decision over Lamont White in a lightweight bout.

Dallas Holden of Atlantic Cit won a four round unanimous decision over Kevin Asmat in a bantamweight bout featuring New Jersey based pro debuters.
It was a close fight with each fighter making a case for the victory.

Zhang Zhilei of China won a six round unanimous decision over Rodney Hernandez in a heavyweight bout.
Scores waren 60-53 en 59-55 twice for Zhilei of China, die nu 11-0. Hernandez is 10-5-1.

Masini and Young Back Together

Atlantic City, NJ (Februari 18, 2016)–Anthony “Sap” Jong, a young promising Welterweight has reunited with his original manager, Rich Masini.
The two had forged a great team and along with trainer Bill Johnson have rekindled their relationship and deze vrijdag night at Historic Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Jong (11-1, 5 KO's) of Atlantic City takes on Skander Halili (8-1, 8 KO's) on the featured non-televised bout that will precede a terrific ShoBox: The New Generation card that will be televised live on SHOWTIME®
This will be the first fight back together as Young is on a quest to win championships.
“I am excited to be back with Anthony,” Zei machines.
“I have always have had a great deal of respect for for him and admiration for his family. It works with with us. We have the same goals and plans, “Sap” has always been hard working and trains very hard. I greatly look forward to Vrijdag night and his future. He is a great fighter and a better person. I am excited that team , which also includes his dad Teany, is back together.”

Atlantic City, NJ (Augustus 12, 2015)–John Lennox maakte een oproep in februari aan zijn lange tijd manager en goede vriend Rich Masini. De oproep was relatief lang.

De inhoud van het gesprek waren gepassioneerde aan beide zijden omdat de twee jongens die hetzelfde doel en dezelfde missie voor de komende jaren hebben gehad, Win een titel! De manager en de vechter elk aangelegd hun zaak, maar de essentie van deze oproep was tussen twee goede vrienden die hebben een groot respect voor elkaar en ze beiden overeengekomen om hun deel te doen in de zoektocht van het doel.

Die zoektocht begint deze zaterdag avond toen Lennox (13-2, 5 KO's neemt Dan Pasciolla (3-1) in een 6-ronde zwaargewicht gevecht op de speelplaats in Atlantic City.

Kort daarna, John liep in de sportschool en een ontmoeting met zijn oude trainer Charles Thomas en Masini.

John werd wegen 249 pond en een lange weg van zijn ideale gewicht te vechten.

“Ik nam de tijd af. Ik kreeg getrouwd en had een kind plus Ik werk in Manhattan als een Lost Prevention Manager bij Barneys. Het gaat goed nu.”

Wat bleek in de komende zes maanden was de belichaming van het harde werk en toewijding met een visie op, die zal tot wasdom komen op zaterdagavond nacht in Atlantic City.

Lennox zal de ring na een 22 maanden ontslag, wanneer hij op de formidabele Pacsiolla.

“Ik wist wat mijn problemen waren en nu is het tijd om terug te gaan naar het boksen. Ik wil iets uit het boksen.”

Lennox is een ervaren professional en is klaar om te gaan na de lange ontslag.

Masini is gegaan op record waarin staat dat John is in goede vorm en we hebben grote southpaw sparring had. Op augustus 15 in Atlantic City, het zal John's nacht te bewijzen dat hij is terug.

“Ik weet Pasciolla is een lange linkshandige, maar dat zou een probleem dat ik ben bezig met een goede show te zetten zijn.”
