A pair of exciting “All Chicago” six-round match-ups have been announced for the undercard at Warriors Boxing Promotions’ il prossimo “Windy City Fight Night” su Venerdì, Aprile 28, at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago.

“I’m excited to be facing an undefeated boxer and I’m really pumped to be fighting in front of a large crowd of family and friends,” Mioletti said. “I want to put on a great show for them.”
22-year-old Mioletti says he is motivated for the challenge. “I love the level of competition,” lui ha detto, “and I love fighting in my hometown.”

“I spent all my money I had saved up in Austria as a teen to move here to box. Ovviamente, you come here with goals to be world champion and learn as much as you can and gain experience. I want to go as far as I can. Boxing is a sport I love. I love to fight more than anything else.”

A showcase for Chicago’s best young fighting talent, this WCFN will feature four of the city’s brightest young prospects in separate bouts.

Undefeated super lightweight Ramiro “El Lobito” Carrillo (11-0, 7 KO) will appear in the eight-round main event. 26-year-old Ramiro Carrillo has been very impressive in his undefeated 11-fight run as a professional, finora. Carrillo was born in Mexico was a heavily decorated amateur, andando 215-14. He was a four-time Chicago Golden Gloves Champion and a two-time National Silver Gloves Champion. Carrillo is an aggressive boxer/brawler who loves to go to the body. So much so that a high percentage of his professional knockouts have come from body shots.

22-year-old Quezada is of half-Mexican and half-Filipino descent and an enormous fan-favorite locally. A heavily decorated amateur boxer, Quezada ran off 11 straight victories before falling short in his last fight. A Physical Education and Exercise Science junior at Chicago’s De Paul University 21-year-old Josh Hernandez had just over 50 fights and in 2014, won the Power Gloves and Chicago Golden Gloves, where he was named Best Male Boxer of the tournament. He is managed and trained by his father, former middleweight contender and fan favorite “macho” Miguel Hernandez.

Originally from St. Louis, now living in Chicago Jessica McCaskill trains under well-known Windy City boxing figure Rick Ramos. The 32-year-old says she started off in boxing as a crude slugger, relying solely on her amazing natural strength. But nearly three years of working with Ramos has improved her skills dramatically. McCaskill is the first woman ever signed to a promotional agreement with Warriors Boxing, and deservedly so. Her exciting fighting style has already made her a crowd favorite.

Windy City Fight Nights Return to Chicago on Saturday, Ottobre 1

Su Sabato, Ottobre 1, 2016, at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago, Warriors Boxing Promotions will resurrect the legendary “Windy City Fight Nights” series of boxing shows with an event featuring a pair of unbeaten locals in separate co-main-events.
Headlining the first Windy City Fight Night in four years will be super lightweight Ramiro “El Lobito” Carrillo (11-0, 7 KO) and super welterweight Achour Esho (11-0, 7 KO) in eight-round (Carrillo) and six-round (Esho) bouts against opponents to be announced.
“I’m very happy and excited to be fighting in the co-main event. I’ve fought in several Windy City Fight Nights and had some great fights. I’m eager to get that rush back that I felt going to war in Chicago in front of my hometown family and friends. This is why I came back to boxing. I want to have big, exciting fights,” said Achour Esho.
“I’ve been working very hard for a long time and I’m happy it’s finally coming true. I’ve been dreaming about fighting in a main event in my hometown and it’s finally here. It’s my time to shine. I have a lot of family friends and fans coming out to watch me,” said Ramiro Carrillo.

CHICAGO (Aprile 22, 2015) – Fight week officially kicked-off Wednesday in Chicago as fighters on the Premier Boxing Champions su Punta fight card participated in the final press conference before entering the ring on Friday, Aprile 24 al Padiglione UIC.

 

The night of fights features Anthony “The Dog” Dirrell (27-0-1, 22 KO) combattendo Badou Jack “The Ripper” (18-1, 12 KO) e Daniel “Miracle Man” Jacobs (28-1, 25 KO) assumendo Caleb “D'oro” Truax (25-1-2, 15 KO). The televised action on Spike begins at 9 ET/8 CT.

ANTHONY Dirrell

 

“I’m a better fighter now because I’m working harder. You have to work harder to stay at this level. Now everybody is gunning for you because you have what they want.

 

“I’m glad that because of this platform, everybody knows what I’ve been through now. People can see that anything is possible. Going through something like defeating cancer has helped me achieve my dreams.

 

“Badou Jack è un buon combattente, but he hasn’t fought a guy like me.

 

“Di Venerdì night I just have to hope that Jack doesn’t run. I want him to stand in there with me and we’ll see who’s better. I’m going to test his chin like nobody else has.”

“I respect Anthony Dirrell for winning the fight against cancer. I lost two of my amateur trainers to that disease and I’ll be dedicating this fight to them.

 

“His team likes to bark and talk a lot of trash but they can’t fight for him. Come Venerdì night it’s just going to be the two of us in the ring.

 

“I don’t bark, I don’t talk trash, I let my fists do the talking.

 

“Opportunities like this don’t always come around and I will make sure I don’t let this one slip away.”

 

DANIEL JACOBS

 

“Fighting here in Chicago serves as extra motivation for me. I’ve always been the guy fans favored at Barclays Center, and I may have gotten a little spoiled. So I’m excited to be the guy that people want to see lose. Truax will probably have a larger crowd supporting him, and those fans will motivate me to be stronger and fight better il Venerdì.

 

“People love a great story. I’m extremely proud of my story and for having beat cancer, but let’s not forget about my skill set.

 

“Truax can say he’s tired of hearing about ‘The Miracle Man’ all he wants, but he shouldn’t be thinking about my cancer when we get in the ring. He should just fear me. I’m going to be a cancer to him once we start fighting.

 

“I’m not saying I’m going to knock him out. I’m just saying I’m going to win because that’s what I came to do. I’ll take a win however I can get it.”

 

CALEB Truax

 

“This is a huge fight and a huge opportunity for me. It’s a career-changer and life-changer for my career in boxing. I’ve got to be smart in this fight.

 

“I couldn’t be in any better shape right now. Physically I’m mature at 31-years-old. This is the right spot for me and a great opportunity.

 

“I want to thank all of my fans and you should expect to see a lot of people from Minnesota coming down to see me. It’s going to be great to celebrate with all of them.”

BOXING HALL OF FAMER JOE CALZAGHE TO SERVE AS GUEST ANALYST FOR PREMIER BOXING CHAMPIONS ON SPIKE TV FIGHT CARD AT UIC PAVILION TAKING PLACE FRIDAY, Aprile 24 IN CHICAGO

CHICAGO (Aprile 21, 2015) – Candidato all'International Boxing Hall of Fame Joe “Pride of Whales” Calzaghe has been added to the broadcast team as a special analyst for the Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) su Spike TV Aprile 24 fight card taking place at Chicago’s UIC Pavilion.

Before retiring in 2009, Calzaghe set the record as the longest continuously reigning world champion in the history of boxing, making more than 21 defenses of his super middleweight title along the way. When Calzaghe finally hung up the gloves he had amassed an astonishing unblemished record of 46-0, 32 KOs that featured notable wins over Mikkel Kessler, Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr.

Calzaghe will enter the booth for Spike TV to help analyze the first main event of the evening featuring Daniel “Miracle Man” Jacobs (28-1, 25 KO) mentre affronta Caleb “D'oro” Truax (25-1-2, 15 KO), followed by the second televised bout of the evening between Anthony “The Dog” Dirrell (27-0-1, 22 KO) e lo sfidante Badou Jack “The Ripper” (18-1, 12 KO).

CHICAGO (Aprile 20, 2015) – A slew of local favorites and exciting fighters come to UIC Pavilion in Chicago on Venerdì, Aprile 24 as part of a stacked undercard topped by hard-punching Roberto “La minaccia” Garcia (36-3, 23 KO) combattendo James Stevenson(22-1, 15 KO) in the first televised bout and heavyweight bruiser Arthur Pin (17-1, 12 KO) assumendo Ty Cobb (18-6, 10 KO).

 

These exciting undercard bouts will precede the Premier Boxing Champions on Spike doubleheader featuring Anthony “The Dog” Dirrell (27-0-1, 22 KO) combattendo Badou Jack “The Ripper” (18-1, 12 KO) e Daniel “Miracle Man” Jacobs (28-1, 25 KO) assumendo Caleb “D'oro” Truax (25-1-2, 15 KO) L'azione in onda su Spike TV inizia 9 ET/8 CT.

 

Keith Tapia (13-0) will be showcased in an eight-round cruiserweight bout, Ramiro Carrillo (7-0, 4 KO) assume Ramon Guevara (10-23-2, 6 KO) in four-rounds of welterweight action, Maciej Suiecki (19-0, 4 KO)facce Daryl Cunningham (30-7, 11 KO) in an eight-round middleweight fight and Semajay Thomas (5-0, 3 KO) va contro Jose Santiago (3-5, 3 KO).

Un veterano di questo sport per quasi 15 anni, Garcia is looking for his ninth consecutive victory when he fights at UIC Pavilion for the third time on Aprile 24. Nato in Messico, ma trasferitosi a Weslaco, Texas in giovane età, Garcia è stato in grado di accumulare un numero sufficiente di vittorie per guadagnare alla fine lui stesso un colpo a ex campione del mondo Antonio Margarito. Having fought four times before at UIC Pavilion, the 24-year-old Carrillo will hope to have the home crowd behind him when he goes for his eighth professional win on Aprile 24. His opponent is the 31-year-old Guevara who was born in the Dominican Republic but fights out of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

 

Eager to make his U.S. debutto su Aprile 24, il 25-year-old Sulecki has never lost since turning pro in 2010. Fighting out of Warsaw, Poland he faces Daryl Cunningham out of Detroit.

 

A young undefeated prospect and just 22-years-old, Ramirez makes his fourth straight start at UIC Pavilion on Aprile 24. He was a Chicago Golden Gloves champion and a National Golden Gloves runner-up. Born in Aurora, Illinois, Ramirez will face the 28-year-old Hermosillo out of Tijuana, Baja California, Messico.

 

Another young, imbattuto prospettiva, Edwards fights for the first time outside of his home state of New Jersey for the first time on Aprile 24. The 24-year-old from Paterson will take on the 32-year-old Garcia out of San Juan, Puerto Rico.

 

Another staple of UIC Pavilion, all five of Quezada‘s pro victories have come at UIC Pavilion. A 25-year-old out of Alsip, Illinois, he will look to remain undefeated when he takes on the 28-year-old Torres from Vineland, New Jersey.

 

Making his fourth consecutive start at UIC Pavilion in his hometown of Chicago, the highly regarded Thomas will look to start 2015 with his sixth professional win. The 22-year-old was an accomplished amateur who was the 2011 Campione nazionale di boxe USA. His next challenge is Santiago out of Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

This documentary focuses on the heart and grit displayed by two fighters as they overcome their most deadly opponent yet, cancro. Daniel Jacobs and Anthony Dirrell refused to go down without a fight, and both made miraculous recoveries en-route to becoming two of the best in their respective divisions.

“Never Give Up” recounts the parallel and amazing paths Dirrell and Jacobs have taken. From being teammates during amateurs and their early professional success; to their scary diagnosis and inspiring recovery; all the way until 2014 when they respectively won their first championships one week apart.
