Tunica, Miss. (Jolay 15) – It was a good night for Russian super lightweight Sergey Lipinets (10-0, 7 Kos) who fought through a deep cut over his eye to score a rousing TKO over Nicaraguan brawler Walter Castillo (26-4-1, 19 Kos) ao amin'ny Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) ao amin'ny ESPN & ESPN main event that further solidified Lipinets as a force to be reckoned with in the 140-pound weight class. The night of fights, which emanated from Horseshoe Tunica Hotel & Casino in Tunica, Ramatoa., marked the third PBC on ESPN & ESPN Deportes telecast in the month of July.
Lipinets made his power known early in the fight, but that did not deter Castillo from doing his best to feel out the Kazakhstan-born slugger. The action picked up in the third round as a swinging left thrown by Lipinets caused blood to pour from Castillo’s mouth. Castillo began the fourth round with an offensive attack, forcing Lipinets to back up toward the ropes. Castillo continued to throw several punches, including one that caused a deep gash above Lipinets’ ankavia maso. Castillo did not relent as he aimed for the cut, the first of Lipinets’ asa. Despite the steady flow of blood dripping down Lipinets’ face, it did not seem to bother him.
Castillo’s punch output slowed down considerably as the fight wore on and Lipinets became more and more comfortable, despite the large cut above his eye. PBC on ESPN announcers Teddy Atlas and Joe Tessitore credited Lipinetscorner, led by renowned trainer Buddy McGirt, for keeping the deep cut under control. Less than one minute into the seventh round, Lipinets showed a burst of power, attacking Castillo, pressing him against the ropes, forcing Bill Clancy to wave off the fight at 2:45. At the time of the stoppage two of the judges had scored the fight even, with the third favoring Lipinets by one point.
We knew Walter Castillo was very tough guy coming in,” said Lipinets. “No one ever stopped him. No one ever even hurt him in the ring before and he was in with some solid guys. I knew he could take a punch and punch back. To be honest though, I was surprised by how good of a fighter he was.
Of his first cut as a professional, Lipinets said, “The cut bugged me for a while and I was closing my eye a bit, but I’m a warrior and I know how to take care of myself when I’m trouble.
I have only ten fights and I just beat a guy that good. I think I did ok. This fight just took me to a completely different level in boxing. I guarantee that other guys with 20/25 fights won’t be able to stay in the ring with me.
You can say I’m a slow starter,” continued Lipinets. “But if I see an opening I will take it early. I pace myself and study my opponent and then if the guy is still standing in the last half of the fight, he better run.
Castillo was unhappy with the stoppage saying, “They stopped it too early. I was still fighting. I was fine. I was not hurt. I don’t know why they stopped it. I was waiting him out and about to open up. I am a veteran. If I was hurt, I would have taken a knee. How do you stop a fight without a knockdown?
I had him fighting scared with the cut,” Said Castillo. “He was fighting desperate and that was his last try.
I’m very upset. I was able to fight. It was a good fight and that ruined it. I don’t mind losing but not like that. Let me go down swinging.
The telecast started out with a bang as 2012 Medaly volafotsy Olaimpika Tugstsogt Nyambayar (9-2, 6 Kos) of Waambartar, Mongolia sent Brooklyn’s Rafael Vazquez(16-3,13 Kos) to the canvas 30 seconds into the scheduled 10-round featherweight bout with a straight right hand. Vazquez rose to his feet with ease and threw some forceful shots of his own, but went down again 30 seconds later as Nyambayar threw another powerful right.
The Mongolian warrior, who fights out of Carson, Kalifornia., was able to finish the fight at 1:24of the first round as he threw a left to the body followed by a right hand that saw Vazquez hitting the canvas for a third and final time.
I didn’t know I was going to be able to put that kind of a performance on [against Rafael],” said Nyambayar. “manana aho 100 percent of my energy left. I don’t know exactly how much power I actually have.
I had a great camp and I was ready for whatever came my way,” continued Nyambayar. “I’m very happy with the result, but I expected to win. I came in very confident. I thought it would go three or four rounds, but the opportunity to end it earlier appeared and I took it. Whoever comes my way, Vonona aho. I’m on the road to be world champion and no one can stop me.
I just got caught and I couldn’t recover,” said Vazquez. “He’s a very strong puncher and he caught me still warming up. It happens in boxing. One of those things.
Vazquez said to me, you’ve got a future world champion on your hands,” said Nyambayar’s renowned trainer Joe Goossen. “A guy that is going to know that best is the guy getting hit. Amin'ny [Nyambayar’s] reaction time and his speed, Vazquez saw and felt all of that and he came to the conclusion that Tug is going to be a world champion.
The televised bantamweight swing bout went the full six rounds as Houston-based David Perez (7-0, 3 Kos) outpointed Adan Ortiz (9-2, 8 Kos) of Guerrero, Meksika, who took the fight on five day’s notice. Perez started the fight strong, knocking down Ortiz toward the end of the first round, but the Mexican native rose from the canvas and was saved by the bell as Perez threw a barrage of punches to Ortiz’s head and body. Ortiz started the second round strong and maintained a tremendous amount of heart for the remainder of the bout. Both continuously threw flurries of punches, exchanging left hooks throughout. The judges saw it in favor of Perez with scorecards reading 60-53, 59-54 ary 58-55.

Lipinets hopes a decisive victory over Castillo will put him squarely in the mix of 140-pounds contenders and he has enlisted the help of Buddy McGirt as his new trainer heading into this fight. Here is what Lipinets had to say about his matchup, training camp and more:
On fighting in the main event on ESPN:
I’m very thankful to be fighting on a great network like ESPN. I’m hoping to score a spectacular knockout and have it be shown on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Playsthat would be great. One thing the fans watching can count on, is me throwing a lot of hard punches. I want to have an electrifying performance.
On his current training camp:
I’ve been working really hard to improve on every aspect of my game. I’m seeing improvement in a lot of areas, especially fighting on the inside. I want to be a well-rounded fighter who can make adjustments in a fight and it all starts in the gym. I’m happy with my sparring sessions. I’m feeling really confident going into this fight.
On facing tough opponent Walter Castillo:
Castillo is a veteran with many more fights than me. I know experience will be on his side, but I have many fights in kickboxing that will make up for my lack of fights in the boxing arena. I’m not sure how he deals with southpaws, but I’m going to be setting the pace from the opening round. I’m expecting him to be in great shape so I believe it’s going to be a good competitive fight, but one I feel I can win.
On how he feels his career is progressing
I never dreamed everything would come so fast. In only my eighth fight, I’ll be fighting on national television for the second time, and it’s very beneficial to my career. I’m making a name for myself and everyone is starting to take notice. My career is taking off.
On his relationship with veteran trainer Buddy McGirt
Buddy and I are working great together. He brings a lot of experience and knowledge to the ring. He comes up with fantastic game plans as he’s able to see flaws in my opponents. Being that he’s a former fighter, I have a tremendous amount of respect for him. We both know what it’s like to be in the ring and that’s very important to me. I’m happy with his instructions.

NIGHT OF KNOCKOUTS FEATURED ON PREMIER BOXING CHAMPIONS TOE-TO-TOE TUESDAYS ON FS1 & Ady totohondry tompon-daka ON FOX FANATANJAHAN-TENA

LIPINETS, DEREVYANCHENKO AND WATTS VICTORIOUS
FROM ROBINSON RANCHERIA RESORT & Casino
IN NICE, CALIFORNIA
NICE, Kalifornia. (Martsa 15, 2016) – Unbeaten junior welterweight Sergey Lipinets (9-0, 7 Kos) of Martuk, Kazakhstan thrilled the packed venue at the Robinson Rancheria Resort & Casino in Nice, California amin'ny talata night with a dramatic fifth-round knockout of Levan “The Wolf” Ghvamichava (16-2-1, 12 Kos) ao amin'ny hetsika lehibe ny Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) Toe-TO-Toe talata amin'ny FS1 ary Ady totohondry Champions amin'ny FOX Deportes.
Stalking Ghvamichava from the opening bell, Lipinets found success with a range-finding jab combined with methodical and effective power shots to offset his opponentsinconsistent attack.
Closing the gaps even narrower between himself and Ghvamichava, Lipinets continued to successfully walk down the Georgian (Rosia) native in the fourth round who was unable to avoid the punishing assault.
Lipinets struck gold in the fifth, dropping Ghvamichava with a brutal left hand to the body resulting in a knockout victory at the 1:40 mark of the round. Maro amin'ny fotoana ny fahataperan'ny fanapahana fianarana dia 39-37 ary 38-38 twice for the scheduled ten-rounder.
About the win, Lipinets said, “I’m really happy with the victory. We worked hard on that shot with my trainer. We knew we could wait and use that right hand at the right time and take it straight to the body.
He’s a very strong, physical opponent. It was a real challenge to get him to where I wanted him. I wanted to get inside and use my speed. It was hard in the beginning to pick him apart, but we were able to get into a rhythm.
I want to keep going up from here. I think I proved myself anio alina that I belong at this level.
Said a disappointed Ghvamichava, “Things were going according to my game plan. I ended up getting caught with a shot. I recovered and then he threw that big body shot and it sucked the life out of me.
The rounds were competitive, but I felt like I was winning. I knew I had to keep my jab on him to keep him at bay. I knew he had a strong right hand, but he started to back up and I had never seen him do that so it threw me off.
You don’t expect to be knocked out. We were letting the fight come to me and I thought I was going to be able to stun him, but he has explosive power. I should have been more cautious. I am going to learn from this experience.
Co-featured on the telecast Ukrainian Sergiy Derevyanchenko, (8-0 6KO ny), now fighting out of Brooklyn, New York, impressed with with an eighth-round knockout of thetough-as-nails Mike Guy, (8-2-1 4KO ny).
Fighting evenly over the first half of the scheduled eight rounder, Derevyanchenko found his range in the second half utilizing massive left hooks to the body to slow down the Sacramento, California native.
Sensing a finish in the final round, Derevyanchenko drilled Guy to the canvas at the midway point of the stanza and again shortly thereafter. Although Guy beat the count, the ensuing flurry from Derevyanchenko caused a halt to the bout by referee Michael Margado at the 2:24 Marka.
Maro amin'ny fotoana ny fahataperan'ny fanapahana fianarana dia 70-63 ary 69-64 indroa.
Stated Derevyanchenko, “I wasn’t surprised he was so tough. I’ve never seen any of his fights, but I didn’t think it was going to be an easy fight.
His style was awkward. It was hard to tell where his punches were going to come from.
I didn’t pick a specific round that I wanted to knock him out. I just finally picked him apart in the sixth round and then again in the eighth.
In the opening bout of the Premier Boxing Champions onFOX and FOX Deportes”, undefeated welterweight, Kevin Watts of nearby Lancaster, California, nohatsaraina ny 11-0 with four knockouts with a dominant fifth round stoppage of Michael Chudecki, (11-3-1 3KO ny), of Pozman, Polonina.
Using his superior skills and hand speed, Watts built an early lead sweeping the first four rounds while displaying his full array of punches.
Dropping the valiant Pole early in the fifth stanza, Watts was awarded the stoppage victory as referee Edward Collantes called a halt at the 2:01 Marka. Scores at the time of the finish were 39-37 on all three judge’s scorecards.
Said the victorious Watts, “Faly ery aho, but I knew I was going to get that win. I train too hard to lose. All I think about is winning. I’ve got too many people rooting for me to fail.
I knew I was going to get the KO, but I was happy it was in the fifth round. I actually thought he was going to make it to the sixth because I didn’t think I hurt him as bad as I did in the fourth.
When he went down, I knew it wasn’t a slip. Usually when a drop is ruled a slip, you know it, but that was definitely a knock down. He could barely get back up and after that he just kept backing up and backing up and I took advantage of that.
Not sure what is exactly next, but I do know I’ll be ready.

Na dia eo aza ny vahoaka ny maha toerana tena ao amin'ny nahaterahany Brooklyn, Malignaggi tsy afaka an-tanety maro punches amin'ny Garcia ka nanao azy tao tena loza. Tamin'ny fahasivy Garcia fihodinana ny famelezana farany miavaka hita ho be loatra ny Malignaggi araka ny ref nijanona ny ady amin'ny 2:22 ho any amin'ny manodidina.

Ao amin'ny fahitalavitra fanokafam-, Brooklyn ny Daniel “The Miracle Man” Jacobs (30-1, 27 Kos) Nandondòna teo izao tontolo izao tompon-daka teo aloha Sergio “The Latina Snake” Mora (28-4-2, 9 Kos) indroa teny an-dalana ho any amin'ny fihodinana faharoa sy mahomby stoppage fiarovana ny tontolo middleweight lohateny.

Ny fihodinana voalohany nasongadina hetsika mampientanentana avy amin'ny lehilahy toy ny Jacobs nanolotra ny miavaka tsara hook izay naniraka Mora ho any amin'ny lamba tany am-boalohany. Izao no ny mpiady tsy maintsy hoe Asabotsy:

Danny Garcia

“Nahatsapa be mahery. Tamin'ny fahasivy fihodinana tsapako toy izany manodidina iray. Mila miasa amin'ny faty tanora ny punches sy mifikira amin'ny lalao drafitra. Te raiko ahy mba ho maranitra sy hanipy mahitsy kokoa punches.

“Mahatsapa mahery ary tsapako tsara. Dia nampiasa ny jab. Nisy antoka izany dia efa miasa eo aho fa mirehareha ny tenako. 147 Ao no toerana izany amin'ny.

“Paulie no lehibe tompon-daka. Izy no iray za-draharaha tamin'ny asa tanana jab lehibe sy ny tongotra hetsika. Fa niditra teo aho, ary novonoina ny lalao drafitra.

“Keith Thurman sy Shawn Porter mpiady lehibe ao amin'izany fizarana. Raha te, dia afaka ho azy io hitranga.”

PAULIE MALIGNAGGI

“Niezaka aho mba hibaiko izay dian'ny satria tsy te azy hiondrana an-Groove. Izy no iray puncher mafy ary tsy te-hanome azy fahatokiana-tanety lehibe nitifitra. Te hibaiko miaraka amin'ny jab ka hitandrina azy tsy hita, ka dia Te faharoa hiheveranao azy amin'ny manipy ny heriny. Ny hery tsy tifitra dia nanipy ny hery tsy tifitra azony voa ahy.

“Aho niezaka ny haka kely ny toky. Dia nandeha ahy somary tsara ao ambadiky ny jab. He cut me in the fourth and I think that upped his confidence. I tsy afaka mahazo fanaraha-maso ny izay dian'ny aza. Ao amin'ny toerana Tsapako aho nanome ny tany ka tsy nisy azy aho tsy hita. Ary tonga tao amin'ny Groove na dia nanana tombony mahery.

“Mino aho fa afaka ny ho Danny echelon ambony mpiady, dia efa ny. Afaka hametraka ny anarany eo amin'ny boky tantara. Izy dia manana betsaka ny talenta. Olona tsy tonga saina dia manana toetra amam-panahy be dia be koa. Manana Poker tena tsara tarehy. Tsy mahazo kivy, ary raha manao tsy mampiseho izany aminao.

“Ny Ray dia lehibe mpanazatra ary tena mitoetra eo aminy. Danny dia mihaino ary manana fifandraisana be. Isaky ny misy manodidina no manomboka izany hoe izy vaovao. Na dia amin'ny faran'ny fihodinana rehefa nanome azy zavatra mba hieritreritra ny dia niverina, ary izany no tena zava-dehibe.

“Aho tena nahazo asa tsara sy mijery commentating mpiady lehibe miady ringside. Manantena aho fa ny hipetraka manodidina ny ringside ho ela. I felt like if I couldn’t put up a great performance anio alina then it would be my last. Niezaka aho ny amin'ny hanantonana mafy araka izay azoko natao. Tsaroako fony aho naka tifitra be foana aho vao nieritreritra 'Aza manaiky. Izany no alina raha manome in. Aza mampiseho fa ianao handeha hanome amin'ny. Raha afaka mampiseho fa mbola noana ianao noho izany dia mandresy lahatra ny tenanao ianao fa tsy izany no farany.’ Te foana mampiseho fa tiako izany. Tsikelikely dia nanorotoro ahy teo, ary tsy sarotra aminy ny stoppage.

“Angamba aho tsy ady intsony. Halanao ny manao fanapahan-kevitra po. Ny asany nanomboka tamin'ny Brooklyn 14 taona maro lasa izay. If it ends in Brooklyn anio alina then at least I ended it at home where I’m from and in front of the greatest fans in the world.

DANIELA Jacobs

“Te hanakana azy amin'ny eritreritro izy. Tsy te azy mba hiala eo amin'ny fipetrahany fa fantatro fa fantany dia handeha hifarana amin'ny fihodinana roa ihany.

“Tiako Peter Quillin manaraka. Izany ny ady ny mpankafy mendrika. Manohana foana Brooklyn izahay na Ary ho fomba lehibe hanakatona ny taona.

“Tsy misy ny lalao miverina, tsy misy antony ny handeha backwards. Isaorana Andriamanitra noho izany fandresena, fa tsy handeha aho mba hanome azy ny lalao miverina satria.

“Hoy aho no nisy lehilahy tamin'ny sivy knockouts tena mandondòna ahy?

“Mino aho fa ireo zavatra manokana Brooklynites mendrika ary manao ahy sy ny 'Kid Chocolate’ ho fa ady manokana eto amin'ny Barclays. Izahay ny 'A’ side izao, izahay tompon-daka, dia aoka isika hanao izany!”

Sergio MORA

Niteny ny zorony olona “Fantatro izany tapaka [tsara kitrokeliny]. Efa reko izany miseho.”

“Dia nandre ny kitrokeliny sarin'ireo sy ny lohalika nahatsapa koa mahatsikaiky ary tsy nanao tsindry eo amboniny.

“Fantatro ny fihodinana vitsivitsy voalohany ho sarotra, no andrasana fa. Ny drafitra dia ny hitondra azy ho any amin'ny lalina.

“Adrenaline afaka manao zavatra adala. Tamin'ny puncher toy ny Danny, I mila hetsika.

“Efa nolazaiko anao tonga eto aho mba hiady. Omeko azy voninahitra, fa tonga mba haka izany tompon-daka. Tiako ny lalao miverina.”
